The better ingredients are Vinegar for acid Cornstarch for settler Isoprophyl alcohol for disinfectant And a toothbrush Ive tried this method for a long time
The way to use this is to put a lot of vinegar inside your tank. Then immediately scrub the place where the watermarks are huge. After that, immediately apply the cornstarch to the watermarks along with the Isoprophyl alcohol I hope this can help you @ankitbhatnagar
No this is the best Urnex - Rinza Because the acid formula eats the calcium.. Use hot hot water 👌🏻 Or do a soak over night ( tip aquarium on each side you want done - soaking that side ) wipe away the grim with easy in the morning
You relize rimless tanks are hella expensive and even after buying all the spplys, he still spent waaay less. But in the end, just keep the water level up, instead of 5 inches below the surface lmfao. In a 20g tank not 10🤣🤣
I heard of these different methods but the sandpaper is a new one. I was kind of skeptical about but knew that what you recommended had a really fine layer. I still wanted to try because I have a lot of buildup on my turtle tank. It’s taking a while, but it’s working great! No scratches on the tank thus far! The tank is getting closer to being good as new (or nice as I got it secondhand)! Thanks for sharing!
thanks bro for the experiment. really help me a lot. just about to try vinegar or razorblade now it seems really waste of time. never thought of sandpaper though lol
1500 grit sandpaper or lower will leave a small marks base on exp. now i’m using 3000grit of sandpaper. i also use a blade but only one wrong stroke/scraping and it can lead to scratches and big cut marks.
I just used a sandpaper because I already saw marks from sandpaper on my aquarium, it seems that the last owner used sandpaper. It's still presentable as always.
Total nonsense, never use sandpaper on glass even #1000 grid will scratch it. Best way to get rid of the calcium is to use some acid you can get it as ph- in your aquarium or pool supply store. Even citric acid for your food supermarket will do the job. Descaler for coffee machines are equally well suited.
Thank you! I have several tanks I bought used and just gave up on trying to remove the hardwater stains with vinegar and melamine foam but it is not 100% clear. Will be trying this on them, thanks!
thats not how you use acid on calcium buildup, you must fill aquarium full and add acid to it. low ph water will disolve the calcium until the ph reach 7. you need days until it fully dissolved. just add vinegar(acid) each day. dont use sand paper
@@bunn_Bndds well... Yes... And not... I recommend a polishing machine it will give you a truly refine job on the other hand the sand paper... If you can get the most fine one like more than number 2000 it will be great, still 200 leaves scratching marks in crystal

2:58 The transition click..😂
lmaooo
Please never use sandpaper in your aquariums it scratches the glass and it will flat ruin plexiglass tanks. js
Then, what object should we use?
its works fine in mine, just use a finer grit value
So steelwool is not applicable also?
9
Depends on your pressure while you scrubing it.
Used 320 grit dry wet sandpaper .it works very well and no scratches.
🤣
Never use a double-edge razor to do that
Well those are the only ones readily available in our country
Just wet pumice stone and it will remove calcium buildup. This is what professionals use to get the calcium lines and stains out of toilets.
Can we use Tata salt
What about getting it off a textured hood? I have tried everything. The visible top has the build up.
You can just spray and spray vinegar soon the hard stain will be easy to remove i also got that problem.
Does this vinegar etc will affect on my fish health?????
yes
Not if you use white distilled vinegar.. it's non toxic. Just makesure too rinse the tank thoroughly after. 😉
thanks bro for the experiment. really help me a lot. just about to try vinegar or razorblade now it seems really waste of time. never thought of sandpaper though lol
muratic acid bro. lagay mo sa spray bottle. babad for 5mins. tapos sabonin mo ng mabuti.. cristal clear uli yan walang mga gas2 na prang buhok
muriatic acid will do.. spray then leave for 2 to 3mins and wash with soap after.
Isn't the sandpaper going to leave marks??
1500 grit sandpaper or lower will leave a small marks base on exp. now i’m using 3000grit of sandpaper. i also use a blade but only one wrong stroke/scraping and it can lead to scratches and big cut marks.
that's a preparation for sinigang you're fish will be delicious

I... ACTUALLY... CANNOT... *BELIEVE*... I... JUST... WATCHED... SOMEONE... RECOMMEND... USING... *SANDPAPER*... TO... CLEAN... AN... AQUARIUM!!!
Lol i know right.....terrible
Then what object should we use?
Water, a blade, elbow grease and a lot of delicate care.
I just used a sandpaper because I already saw marks from sandpaper on my aquarium, it seems that the last owner used sandpaper. It's still presentable as always.
It's not the right way, it got a little better, but it's far from clean and please don't use the hand to show it's clean, it's not!
Total nonsense, never use sandpaper on glass even #1000 grid will scratch it.

Good idea
I already tried but nothing works...
sandpaper in your aquariums?????? Dont listen this guy !!!! its looks clean only when glass is wet !!! OMG . the most stupid idea ever !!!!!
aquarium is supposed to be wet, aren't you going to fill it with water?
Aren't you gonna put water in your aquarium? Most stupid comment ever.
You can use steel wool If you want.
No never
Doesn't work...used 0000 Fine
Nakapagsubscribe na po boss hahahahaha. Nice.
IN supermarket there's a "stains remover" cost you $3. 20min all gone!
Thank you! I have several tanks I bought used and just gave up on trying to remove the hardwater stains with vinegar and melamine foam but it is not 100% clear. Will be trying this on them, thanks!
Espresso machine cleaner works great
Urnex Rinza.. acid formulation .. destroys calcium by eating it ❤
