Great video Ralph, must say I like your early morning adventures. The pink lake looked good and the capture of the post with the rock creating the reflection was nice. The pylons and tree also looked outstanding very good mornings work. 👍👌👏

Always amazing place, the pink lakes Ralph. Good to see you out early and still fighting with the mosquitoes! Great set of the photographs - love the forth and last shot for me. Many thanks for sharing your work and it's starting to get cooler now - have a great week.

Glad you enjoyed it Shaun, it's a lovely place and only about 20 minutes from me now. Got a few bites before the spray went on though. Thank you for watching and commenting and have a great week yourself

Some lovely pastel tones that morning mate, really worked well with the pink lake. Some really nice images, thought the pylon image turned out well, as you said not an obvious shot but really worked . Liked the really minimal image at 13:00 , thought that was nice. You certainly worked the area that morning and came away with some really nice images. Hope your well mate , take care !

Glad you liked them Lee. It's a nice place, especially when the water is pink. A bit of an issue with mosquitos in some parts of it. Thank you for watching and commenting

Great to see you up and out before the sun. Love a salt lake and you really worked this location, even with the difficulty of gaining separation and the right elevation for each shot. Loved the long exposure (obviously 😂) and the pylons really worked for me. At 9.40 I was immediately drawn to the the left hand side of the image, such beautifully delicate ripples. Have a great week Ralph 🙏🙏🙏

Really like this video. Remember your earlier adventures at the Pink Lake. Love the first photo (even though you mention in the video that you did not think it worked). The photo at 13 minutes could look really cool as a B/W fineart photo too. Cheers

WTH, Google ran a commercial for a "Better Photography" ad during your video, that seems to be a bit disingenuous. All kidding aside, well done on pushing forward throgh your ealy morning malaise. It happens to most of us from time to time.

Ralph, you take great pictures. But isn't it time to move up to a RF mount Canon camera? The RP is dirt cheap. If you don't want a full frame how about the R8? Now that the R5 II is out the R5 is cheaper. You're basically using a discontinued camera. As a TH-cam guru you deserve one of the better cameras. Just say'n.

I have considered it but it all comes down to one question... How would changing improve my photography? Better image quality? Maybe but there's nothing wrong with what I'm getting now. The RP may be cheap but I've still got to get all new lenses and that's where the problem lies. It's not the cost but that any solution I look at either means more weight in order to keep the range of focal lengths I have now or less flexibility with focal lengths to keep the weight down. So I continue with the trusty little M50 and native M mount lenses until something comes along that gives me a better answer to that question (or until something goes wrong with the gear I have).
