  • In this video, I capture great Landscape Images on a summer's day using various filters. The results are excellent!
Last week, I headed to Berwick-upon-Tweed to capture landscape images. To be different, I opted to photograph during the middle of a summer's day. It was June the 29th to be precise! The light was quite challenging, to say the least! One minute it was bright and the next, storm clouds were rolling in. But this was what made the day that much better! The sky was amazing. The detail in the clouds was pretty special.
The reason why I opted for such conditions was straightforward. I always complain that whenever I'm out and about during the day I always noticed that the sky rarely, if at all ever looks as good at sunrise and sunset! So if that is the case then why aren't we as photographers taking more pictures during the day?
I took a range of different styles of pictures using various filters.
I know it's not to everyone's taste but I prefer the images captured using a 15-stop filter!
In case you were wondering why I opted for very long shutter speeds when the sky detail looked so good is simple, blurred detail is much better than just a blur, I hope that makes sense?

"You know what I mean... If I'm away for more than 15 minutes, she'll start moaning". I can sympathise, Gary. For me, it's "Haven't you taken that picture yet?" I feel your pain

Using a 6 stop filter, take around 10 photos, blend them together in photoshop and bam you've got a similar result.

Hello, I think it's something wrong with the pricing. In the video description I can see £5.99 but if I press join the channel I can see 6.99 (package A). Is it right or am I doing something wrong? Cheers

Hello - nice video! But, I didn't care for the images with any of the ND filters. I love the big fluffy clouds in the image as it tells a fuller story to me....

Just in awe with the details in the clouds and results of that 15 stop filter. Truly brilliant!!!

Living in the Arizona desert, monsoon season is a great time for clouds, and really any time of day. Plus, monsoon cools everything down so you don't get third degree burns going for the mail.

Thanks for the video! Not only is it interesting to see the use of filters to take long daytime exposures, but your excitement and enthusiasm really hold ones attention. Wonderful shots

Thank you so much. You have inspired me to go out and play and to have fun with my photography. I have been in a lull with my photography and your videos have encouraged me to get back out and learn about long exposures. Thank you again.
