Stop saying Night Ranger was an underrated band. For those of you who say that, it's obvious you weren't around back in the 80s or you weren't paying attention because Night Ranger was huge back then.
I think underappreciated is the more apt description. They kind of got lost among the more flashy bands of the era and ended up outlasting most of them by just doing what they do. I do miss Jeff Watson's sound (playing his parts with a pick just doesn't sound right) and I'm still convinced that Blades bass is not plugged in, lol (I have never heard him in the live mixes).
These guys are great, probably one of the best bands of the 80s , only got to see them live once and got to see Jack Blades with Damn Yankees, which also was a great band. Great music.
I like hearing these performances with the Contemporary Youth Orchestra. It's always interesting how they chose to augment the Rock songs with the Orchestra. 😎 👍
Amazing! Jack Blades. I played in a cover band with him in San Diego nearly 50years ago (Lightnin'). One of the few guys I played with back in the day that "made it big"...and is still playing! Congratulations. Hope it's been a good life.
Hair nation is my favourite music station and as a teen ager I didn’t really hear much Night Ranger…. Now in my fourties’ hearing them lots on Hair Nation I’m now a fan ! Great performance!

I just saw them at the Kansas Star Casino and Holy Shit...they sounded freaking Amazing!!! The energy level was off the charts and they sounded excellent. I am thoroughly impressed.

I was there at this concert and it was great. I've always been a Night Ranger fan but never saw them live till this concert and it was a great one to see. I usually love when they put an orchestra with rock music like this, however live it was almost impossible to hear the orchestra, they were over powered by the volume of the band. I was hoping when they mixed it for the album that they would balance it out more so you could here the kids more. But when I listen to this I still don't here them over the band. Still loved the concert and I will buy the cd and dvd, just wish you could here the orchestra more. On a side note my hearing isn't the best either 😀
I've had the honor of seeing night ranger...damn Yankees... uncle Ted...and Mr gillis okay with Ozzy shortly after Randy Rhodes got killed.. in Leesburg Florida.. 2 towns away
This is probably the result of the Jack Blades and Tommy Shaw connection as Styx did a concert with the same Youth Contemporary Orchestra some time ago.....I have the blu ray release of that one.

As good as they ever were. They actually know how to play their instruments and sing...well! How music should be. Organic. Great camera work too. Actually put it on the guy that's playing the solo for a change. Awesome job. Such a great band. I have the 7 Wishes VHS and I could put their energy and quality of the show up against it almost 40 years later. Jeff Watson is awesome but he's not in the band. Tough shoes but done so well by Carey. Sorry If I spelled it wrong. Much respect brother.

There were not huge. By any stretch. Van Halen were huge. Crue were huge. Not even in the top 10 for the decade.

The most recent Winger and Extreme albums were really good. Winger has 4 or 5 videos out from theirs.
