I tried putting in the rear sparkplug just with a ratched. It broke the sparkplug but also messed up the thread. Wish i saw this vid earlier using a fuell line to get it in. Im gonna try, hope the debree of the thread wil not mes up my cilinder. Fingers crossed
Great job. Couple additional pointers. Beware of cross threading the spark plugs. That is why he mentioned staying by fingers when you can, or use the fuel line method like he showed. DONT use a swivel socket to start the spark plugs it's easy with a wratchet and socket to cross thread if your a novice back yard person doin this. Also, could have shown resl quick how to check the gap and don't try to regap a platinum tip plug as the tip is delicate. It can be done with pliers on the outside of the electrode top just dont touch the platinum tip.
I love the videos. They are super helpful. The only thing I wanted to point out is in the oil change video at the beginning you show a list of everything you will need to do the job. But you didn't put foil or paper towels or something to wipe and clean where the oil filter sits so it gets a good seal. Those are 2 things I forgot because you didn't have them on your list. Not a big deal but if you want the list to be exact with exactly everything you will need then it's missing those 2 items. Other then that please keep making them because I can't say enough good about them. Your awesome and keep up the super work you do! Thanks.
hi i have a 2003 xb984 firebolt and the tension bar to adjust the primary chain is spinning with no adjustment so im gathering that it is STRIPPED does any one have a videos on what to do as i know i have to reweldthe casing and re tread but i dont know how to pull the clutch off so a video would b gr8 anyone thanks
Thanks for the comments and feedback. This is the second video of a series we are producing for Buell motorcycles. All the videos will revolve around the how to do it yourself concept. Our first video showed you how to change your oil on this same motorcycle.
Sometimes its not that simple. On mine, I have the ignition pickup cable attached to the left scoop so First I have to snap off three tie-wraps that's holding this cable.
How Buell ever got away with releasing motorcycles with horrendous access for simple repairs.... Guess I'll just go down to the Buell dealer and tell them about my grief in person....
oldironnow Yea, the kickstand bolts sheared off for no reason. I thought, that sucks, oh well that’s an easy fix. “ Nope , included dropping the exhaust just to get clearance to ratchet the fuckers in.
Thank you for taking time out to do this video. Very helpful.
These vids were great, get him to do more! We need these more now than ever.
Very good vid! Very informative and brief. Without extra crap about different parts around.

Thanks for your great videos! Some of the small tips (like using fuel tubing to start the rear plug) are key!
Wow, very professionally done video, nice job!

Love the vids you do, any chance of a primary chain adjustment vid?
Hi guys!
do you have a video how to remove the front sparck from a 2008 buell 1125cr?
how do you check electrode gap ? what is the electrode gap any ways ? is that space between the tip and where the spark comes from ?
Do you have to use the wire pliers? If so, do they need to be offset?
Is this similar to changing plugs on a 09 1125 CR?
these videos are great!! thanks man!
is it same whit Buell xb12ss?

Thx very much for that I live in Rio de Janeiro and it will be very helpfull for me, thx again. Ricardo
I would suggest stuffing a clean rag into the velocity stack. This will prevent anything from falling inside the engine without you knowing.
