Sabine's "what" when Hera says she & the fleet will not be joining them reminds me of Anakin's "what" when Mace Windu tells him the council is not granting him the rank of master.
Dooku - Qui Gon - Obi-Wan - Anakin - Ahsoka - Sabine
That really is a line of non-traditional Jedi. Only Obi-Wan in there could be counted as a traditional Jedi.
I loved this episode, especially since we finally got to see the full live-action appearance of the Purrgil as well as the live-action debut of Jacen Syndulla. Also, the senator that Hera argues with is Hamato Xiono, father of Kazuda Xiono from "Star Wars Resistance".
I read elsewhere the Purrgil are required to feed on certain gasses to travel hyperspace lanes - just as they were doing at the mining planet where the Ghost crew first encountered them. The planet in this episode is the last "gas station" on the lane to Thrawn's galaxy. :)
Ahsoka going out into space was such a Clone Wars Anakin move. I loved it so much! This episode was tooooooo short lol
That s an awesome X-men 50 behind you, it is one of my grails as well. Lorna is one of my favorite Marvel characters and a great cover. Great job on the reactions, I think people with broader Star Wars knowledge are reaping the most benefits so far in this series. The Heir to the Empire book series was an amazing life boat for us in the original trilogy generation. Filoni is going to connect this to something awesome.
The senator is Hamato Xiono. He is the father of Kazuda "Kaz" Xiono from Star Wars Resistance. He is also the senator for Hosnian Prime.
There is also a rumor that Baylan and Shin are looking for access to the World Between Worlds, which happens to be on the Chimaera.
When she goes woo I got one,immediately thought of the great kid don't get cocky line.
This was one of my favorite Star Wars chase scenes to date. The highs and lows were great. It had tension with Shin and wonder with the purrgil's. The music was fantastic throughout as well. The scene had many character moments. Including the moment when Ahsoka asked Sabine what she needed to succeed. That moment adds to their growing dynamic. A dynamic that's quickly become one of my favorites.
This is the lowest-budget "Star Wars" out there. The show is three in, and it sucks... HARD.
It's a shame to use Thrawn in this way.

Finally someone noticed Shin's eyes... I don't think I saw her blink *once* in this show.
I assumed the purgil stopped on the planet to feed on the clouds like they did in Rebels. Just a refueling point along their migration lane. But that allows others to mimick rheir migration lane as a hyperspace lane between galaxies.

I see their interaction more sarcastically. They seem more friendly to each other instead of relaying on authority. Like last episode when morgan asks for baylans opinion. If that's the case it would make an interesting new dynamic to the empire
Great reaction, you 2. It's really getting good, now. Next episode...lightsaber duels...and, I agree: Mon Mothma will most likely employ some "outsourcing", to aid Hera and her friends. Mon knows how serious Thrawn and Dark Side Force-users are in the galaxy, and the danger they can cause to an early New Republic. Is this where Zeb and Kallus may come in?
I am really looking forward to learning more about Baylan. He’s clearly playing his own game, and maybe he’s just in it for the money, but I get the sense he has a deeper ulterior motive. He’s “evil” in the sense that he’s ok killing people as a means to an end. But to contrast that in the episode before this, he was clearly bothered by the thought of having to kill Ahsoka or more broadly, to have a Jedi die because there are “so few left.” Definitely not a sith mindset.
I do wonder if Sabine will struggle with connecting to the force until she’s “forced” to make that connection. And at that point, will it be frustration and anger that make that connection, because it almost seems like foreshadowing that she could end up tapping into the dark side to save Ezra. Would also draw a nice parallel back to Anakin connecting to the dark side to “save Padmé.” And Sabine specifically has had some lines that were direct callbacks to previous characters (Luke complaining about not being able to see through the visor in A New Hope comes to mind).
Side note - I cracked up at the Ducktales reference…”I COULD HAVE BEEN TURBO?!” 😂

Hey I just subscribed awesome reaction I loved this episode it reminded me of a live action episode of Rebels and I think Marrok whoever he is is under the control of Morgan using nightsister magic which we've seen before with Savage Oppress in The Clone Wars

I think that the eye of sion will be a kind of hyperspace transport ship. It is build to fly to the far far far away galaxy and bring Thrawns ships from there back. And Thrawn will be back right intime for the new trilogy ;)

The baddies are so interesting. The micro aggressions between Shin and Morgan, the mysteries of Baylan Skoll.
The relationship between Ashoka and Sabine. It’s got so much depth. Sabine is no stranger to training, and it shows when Ashoka says she’s lacking in her skills in the force, Sabine, asks how and she doesn’t whine. Instead she negotiates with Ashoka and she respects her master. She also shows how training an older padawan has it’s owns benefits because she has drive and shows Ashoka she can contribute from her pool of knowledge.
Love Ashoka’s approach to training, she’s gentle and subtle the opposite of Mandalorian training. She doesn’t treat Sabine like a child. She harnesses Sabine’s abilities. It’s a very satisfying relationship.
My theory.
The ghost crew will be going to the other galaxy, and they will have to sacrifice they ability to go back by destroying the Eye of Sion to prevent Thrawn from going back. In the other galaxy they will meet up with Ezra and he, Ashoka and Sabine will form a new type of Jedi order. Season 2 will be about them fighting Thrawn. They’re all trapped in the other Galaxy and the events will happen at the same time as the sequel trilogy. Post sequel trilogy will be about bringing Rey back into the universe as Lucas filmed announced this year. She will be going on a quest to find this new Jedi order she hears about in another galaxy. She is guided by twin force ghosts Luke and Leia but she is chased by a mysterious force she cannot shake. Meanwhile Ezra struggles with the dark side and doesn’t tell anyone. Something is drawn to him and he doesn’t know what it is, it could be Rey it could be something or someone else who knows?

Always great commentary from you two. Love it! Also, great editing! Balin reveres Ahsoka because he knows she is Anakin’s padawan. So he can’t take her lightly at all. I wonder if he also knows about Luke? You would think that he does.
The saddest part of all this being is I believe we will lose Ahsoka & Sabine to the other Galaxy far far away for good. There's no appearance or sign of them in the future sequel trilogy. I think Hera still remains because "The Ghost" was present in The Rise of Skywalker battle of Exegol space scene. Ezra and co - somehow they may all end up stuck there in a separate story timeline. Secondly there is no mention of Thrawn amongst the ranks in The First Order.
Cant wait for next week! This episode was short bu excellent! My favorite part was the samurai style training!

So regarding senator jerky mcjerkface, from what i understand he is the father of the main character of the show resistance. I haven't actually seen it mind you, but from what i understand and i don't know much of it, he isnt a sinister character he is just a grade A jerk. Honestly the one i don't trust is the lady on the left of motha the way she seemed so happy to declare they had ex imperials in all levels of the government. That is either extremely naive or she's with them
I think the Purrgil will be used to bring Ezra back to the SW galaxy.
Your guys should ould look up the meaning of the names in the credits. I think Rockstar makes a video that breaks down reach off the planets and names in the credits. you might find it interesting.
I think that Baylan wants to use the world-between-worlds to go back to the past and 'fix' a few things (order 66 😋)... but to what extent would that affect things in the present 🤔

I also love the petty rivalry between Shin and Morgan.
Lastly, I am reaching a bit, Cal Kestis as the sexy mysterious Inquisitor? Lol
Theory Time: I have a feeling that force powers are stronger in the other galaxy. Ezra will be powered up. Morrock will be powered up closer to the video games and Baylan and Shin expects more power in the other galaxy as well. Did you guys notice the thrusters/jets shooting out of the back of Ahsoka's suit when she was in space? Very cool. I love your reactions. It's really nice to see fans loving their content. Episode 3 was great. Watch it a lot of times between reactions and a couple times on my own.
