Well once we've all gone through our rehabilitation to strengthen our legs up from sitting in those cockpit chairs so long we can finally walk and that means we could be Space Marines and Space G.I's too. It would be awesome to be able to land on a planet and sneak around and in some corporation to steal some high value items or some military base. Steal other vehicles and or star ships! That would be awesome! Or to land on a planet and have observatories you could go and run actual test and get information on far away star systems and make decisions weather to pay it a visit. Maybe have a buildable base and be able to build an observatory and other equipment to scan the stars and planets to see what planet is habitable and what star is which so you can plan out destinations and sell the highly detailed data to scientist and other players or corporations or sell them to pirates so they can have the knowledge of important places to set up places to interdict people trying to get to that place. Be able to build a building for underground tunneling. There's all kinds of cool things they could and should do with elite to make it more enjoyable!

I started playing 2 months ago. About half a month ago I unlocked my corvette after about 22hours thanks to this video. Amazing stuff. Your Guardian videos also achieved all tech for me after about 24 hours play time. So it took me about a month to figure the game out and 2 weekends to unlock nearly everything. Thanks D2EA.
I've been doing this for over a week now at the same station and for some reason they all give federation rank not only the federation allied groups . I unlocked my corvette yesterday P.S. it's also a great way to get materials and data . Also thankyou for all your vids it's been a massive help . Currently trying to build a cucumber for myself
i came here just to ask this question and you aswered thank you. after few runs i got out of missions so i waited ,.. no longer now edit: no longer works for me i did about 50 non federation faction missions and got no progress on rank

I did the damaged station thing to get my ranks up, Took me 4 days (2-3 hours a day) to complete. Although when i did it there were ~10 damaged stations around and i would pick 2 or 3 and bounce between them, there were even a couple of stations that had both federation and empire so i was ranking 2 at once. I opted for a shield on my python in addition to a docking computer for the rescue ship as it does get a little monotonous after 10,000 passengers. It sure beats data delivery missions IMHO.
Yes I can recommend this! I started 5 days ago. 8 hours per day doing the same (flying back and forth) I listened to some podcasts on my second monitor and yea now I'm 40% post capitan.
As a new guy, I must point out this is lacking an important piece of info: in damaged station auto docking won't work, thus making the docking a lot more complicated for a big ship ( I tried with type 9, lost the ship 2 times...) ; secondly, the game, sadly, use some idiotic mechanics, in these cases, because any incident resulting in a fine ( like your ship bouncing in a wall, when docking, because a random explosion) will force you to abandon the mission and find a place where you can pay the fine - usually in other system, once the service where you can pay the fine in that station is disabled ! So, any error, because of your docking skills or because an aleatory factor ( the things in station explodes, ships sometimes may ram you, etc) will result in a loss of time and credits. Is stupid, obvious, because make no sense at all to have a fine system in a burning, attacked station, where vital components aren't working, but the fine systems still work... and you cannot pay the fine because...guess what, the system who collect the fine on that station do not work ! So, I will NOT recommend this approach for new players...
I've been using this method and I got from lieutenant to post captain with the Federation in about a week, though I haven't done it continuously. This method is much better than the Ceos-Sothis one.
@@MrReaperAlpha It really can't go wrong, there isn't much risk, you just need heat sinks in case the ship overheats, plus it's more exciting than simply jumping from system to system and just docking at a station.Though atm I don't know if there are any damaged stations.
great video! I haven't done passenger missions before or gotten involved with damaged stations but am pretty excited to try it out now in order to gain a SOL permit from the federation
For the Empire, another option is going to Mainani, it has 5 or 6 empire factions that each have a good chunk of delivery missions to a system 3 ly away (starts with an N, can’t remember exact name), and that system has 6 or 7 empire factions with even more delivery missions. Since you’re doing deliveries, you almost always get the “bonus alerts” for most if not all of the missions as soon as you jump, so it’s fairly profitable. Running back and forth for a couple hours yesterday (casually), made 30-40 million and went from knight to viscount. Should be a nice way to grind to get my Cutter rep and money to pay for it :)
It sure is fast and sweet. Been doing it now for 2-3 hours, but im unsure if its faster than doing cargo/data missions in Ceos/Sothis. You only get 3 +++ reputation for the missions and i`ve had a maximum of 3 federation missions from the two contacts. I allso encounter the issue where there are no new missions and i have to wait. Not for long, but still. So i`m contemplating returning to my cargo grind. Awesome channel btw, me and my son are both fans! Keep up the good work!
Phil Zwart i finishen my rep grind 3 days ago. Play smart, stack missions and it'll go smoothly. Dont think i used more than 3-4 hours on post captain.
Back in March (2019), I went from Petty Officer to Rear Admiral for Vette in 2 days. Just doing data deliveries and cargo trading between Sothis and Ceos for Fed rank in my Anaconda. Now need to find a similar system setup for Empire rank. Also, I made almost 200m profit getting those fed ranks as well.
Thank you for this guide. I'm getting back into E:D after a long break, and even before the break I had abandoned Navy progress as being far too tedious to be worth my time. If all goes to plan, I'll be fitting out a Federal Corvette within the next day or so.
Any advice? Im going for fed rank, i notice Ill pick up the missions from 3 Fed factions, but when i deliver at the rescue ship, only one fed faction is available. Idk if im even gaining fed rank efficiently.
if you do this in bigger ships, you can clear the entire mission board in a couple of runs (all factions...)....they do respawn, but you may be better leaving it 10mins between runs for your sanity, that way a decent number of fed missions respawn between runs.

This is a really good method for ranking up Empire/Fed. Shame is, I need to rank up my Empire ranking, and right now there are only 3 damaged stations in the map, and none of them have factions aligned with Empire :(
Yeah I'm pretty sure this no longer works. I go back and forth from the station and rescue ship, and the Fed factions at the damaged station have VERY little passenger missions, and they only reset with the server mission reset (every 10mins). Can you please maybe find another way? Sothis/Ceos is taking forever as well. I know I may be asking a lot :/ EDIT: As of 4/18/19 there is a Fed system attacked by Thargoids and this method works like no tomorrow. Working on my last rank now. Went from rank 9 to rank 12 in about 8 hours max. Thanks so much for this video, and I shall never question your methods again :P Also Edit lol I now have my Vette and need just under a billion credits to out fit it lmao
Empire wise the data mission runs in ngalinn are quicker you also get rank up missions in the process. Its 20 missions in a single jump mainani and around 10-15 more returning back ngalinn. Most you have to deal with is a maybe a interdiction every once and awhile and you can be super lazy about it with a docking comp and cruise assist.
With the repairing stations you can do source and return missions on those make some good rank grinding, however I'm not sure if it's slower or faster than just doing courier missions
Ahh it was so much pain one week ago ..a frd needed the corvette he was so bored and sothis was in outbreak,have to help him out and the only fun was wing assasination and we finally ended at sol! And after one week of grind and me sharing completed wing mission when he was absent etc all possible ways..

dito, Ana, 4a shield (detonations and flying debris) and a 5D Hull reinforcement in military compartment, 2 heat sinks and I used a docking comp for docking at the rescue ship, rest is economy class passenger cabins (192 passengers per run). Will acutaly work with any ship, but the more passengers you can take, the more missions you can accept, the faster the progress. So you will want to use anything with a capacity of a Keelback or Type-6 up. If the faction giving the mission inside the station doesn't belong to the superpower, then maybe the "receiveing" faction will? keep that in mind, when determining which mission to accept. optimum both side belong to the superpower, acceptable only one side, if no mission for rank is available (or to fill up empty cabins) accept the missions, that give crafting materials, avoid missions for powers in lowest position of the mission board , as these are the enemies of the ruling factions and might result in a negative impact to your reputation. P.S.: Don't bother trying to catch the time bonusses, 2 to 3 min for 5mm and docking process is just to little to catch (imho).
This only works for 1 run. Every time i go back to pick up more passengers the federal factions only spawn 0-2 missions each and it is not worth the time. I’ve started doing one run, then head to Sol to do assassinations, cargo and any other quick missions that offer rep+++++, and then go back to rescue more passengers about an hour later.
Idk if it was nerfed already but yeah happening to me as well. It does accumulate over time go back every half hour. every 10 min it adds another mission. Thinking doing cargo missions and data missions around sol is the best now.
@@invader218 i have the same issue. the timer on the missions is way too long to make it worth it. How do people not see this? Only the fed factions give rank, and there are only 2 factions, with a total of about 10 passenger missions.
@@Forkinatorr I finished ranking up around the sol area took a few hour to finish and finally got my corvette, the ship takes a lot of credits to build up still need to get her combat ready.

This is right on time! All the guides out there are relatively old. Question...I don’t want to retrofit my Type 6 for this, so what ship should I buy for this purpose? I have 65,000,000 credits available.
samuelg315 Type 7 is the best passenger ship in my opinion. I’ve been using it for a while now. It’s made me millions of credits. Lots of passenger space, and it is surprisingly one of the most agile big ships. The turn rate is one of the best I’ve experienced. I’m always able to outrun interdictions easily. Just A Rate the core internals and you’ll be good to go! I don’t get why people say this ship is slow.. The Type 9 is SLOW.. the Type 7 isn’t fast boost or top speed wise, but it turns amazing Also, the cockpit is on the bottom of the ship so just stay very close to the bottom of the mail slot when docking and you’ll never have a problem... the Beluga on the other hand... that thing is such a pain in the ass to get in the station
I just went between the named systems around Lave- all are highly populated and will almost always have at least 1 high grade emissions. If there isn't one, just jump to the next system and by the time you cycle back through each the signal sources will have refreshed. You won't get any Isolators but you can get dozens of the others to trade in an hour or so
@@DrunckPolarbear I think this was available as a community event once or twice . Not now . If this was a common event it was nerfed a long time ago . Certainly cant do it now . Ngalinn to Aitvas to Mainani systems for Empire rank is good. Canopus and Synuefe YK-N c23-8 / 18 , Exphiay for Federal rank works as well . You can take a ship fitted out for passenger missions to Robigo / Sothis and Ceos . That is good for reputation as you have a mix of Empire and Fed stations . That is all I found out . Worked for me . Got both Rear Dmiral and Duke Ranks in just over 1 week of playing. Cargo , courier and some easy assassination missions
Best way for Imperial rank is the "Galinn" run and for Feds the Ceo/Sothis run,don't need a big ship or passenger cabins,just couries stuff just short trips and way quicker than this.
Doing it with a Beluga Liner just to test it out. 4x 6E Economy cabins; 1x 5E Economy cabin; 5E Bi-Weave shield (class 4 shields couldn't handle the weight); 1x 4E Economy cabin; 4x 3E Economy cabins; 1x 1D Module Reinforcement. Engineered FSD + Thrusters (all class A cores except D sensors & Life support). 5x Heat Sinks & no hardpoints. Fully loaded it can carry 168 passengers which is about 11-13 missions. With time bonuses now and then I'm still making quite a bit of money even with taking most rewards as rep. Tbh... as enormous as this ship is... with engineered Thrusters it handles like an Asp Explorer. I use about 4x heat sinks each trip and the module reinforcement helps with heat damage because this ship generates heat very quickly. Still manages to jump 33Ly fully loaded with 168 passengers & 128T of fuel. Also, this is an easy way to get materials. Some missions won't give extra rep but will offer materials instead.
@@12com66 Haven't found one yet. Wish I could find one with 5 ore more Fed npcs, but I haven't come across one yet. The passenger rescues give you massive Rep for whatever faction whos missions you accept at the port, but slows down to a near stand-still once those npcs are Allied with you, so your Federation superpower (or Empire) rep raises slower.
You have to go to eddb.io -> stations -> select Economy: Rescue (Min landing pad L), and then check out systems where in result you'll see "Rescue Ship". This is it.Then open system info and check out minor factions. The more Federation factions you will see the better. But some times in the past Frontiers with players support shut down most of these possibilities. Players were enthusiastic and helped FD to make our life harder. Thus, eddb data might be outdated. PS I've checked out some systems from eddb. All of them where repaired with stupid players' help. So, Empire has Mainani-Ngalinn, but in order to get a Corvette you have to invest 10 times more time. Kind of unfair.
Honestly this method seems so slow to me compared to just finding a place that's in war state and doing rep+++++ assassination missions. I get 10% per mission for assassinations and I can do a single mission in about 3 minutes, meanwhile with rescuing people from stations I get 3% per rep hand in, but it's totally random whether I get it or not. Even if I only pick up people from the fed faction at the station, I get to the rescue ship and have to hand it in to random factions there so I end up getting literally nothing at all. I outfitted a Beluga specifically for this and started just picking up random refugees, and then I'd randomly get some that handed in to the fed factions even though I didn't accept any from the fed factions at the burning station. Too much RNG for me to enjoy for as long as it will take, and it will take longer because of how unreliable it is. Even in this video it's happening to you. You only took the passengers from the federation faction at the station, but you can see at 6:30 that the refugees you're unloading are for the League of HIP 21167 faction, not the HIP 21167 Exchange federation faction you got them from. Picking the REP+++ reward for this faction doesn't give you any federation rep at all because the faction giving you the reward isn't Federation. IMO this method is far too RNG to reliably grind rank off of, literally anything else would be better. At the time of my writing this, Sothis/Ceos are in boom and have a lot of REP+++++ cargo missions to run between them that are good, or you can do the REP+++++ mining runs for Sothis mining. Any Federation system in "War" or "Civil War" state also usually have REP+++++ assassination or combat missions, which give you far more rep than rescues and are easy to complete even with an non-engineered ship. Just make sure not to take any wing missions by accident.
The fastest way to advance in rankings is this (and there is no other faster) : - almost at all stations there are credit donations missions (1 mil. , 3 mil. 5 mil. etc...) do all those for the superpower factions only and u will advance in rank incredibly fast . Search stations, donate credits as much as u can for faction u want , and just do the mission required (when the level bar is filled) for adavance to next rank....then again just move to stations donate credits and search for mission required for adavncing to next rank and so on(when the rank bar is filled again)....very simple and efficient...of course u need to have some credits to spend but some core mining before all this should to the trick...i litteraly advanced for empire from "outsider" to "baron" in 3-4 hours or so...maybe less..
Take a damn shield! Just bump-shield tier, I wouldn't go bigger than a 3A in a medium ship. The extra couple passengers isn't worth the (high) chance of being smashed into stuff by a nearby explosion
I wonder if you could use a docking computer with a damaged station. At the moment i use a Beluga Liner and i saw several times that even the docking computer had to work hard to not touch the station on the way in (this ship is so big, there is no room for a mistake), i'm not sure i could do it better than the docking computer.
Hmm. Yeah, that's way faster than anything else. Running Robigo Taxi should still be preferable for Empire rank unless the runner already has more than enough creds to buy and A-class a Cutter. But for Corvette rank and those who are already filthy rich this indeed looks ideal.
I missed the burning stations event. I read your guide on CMDR's toolkit and you said you were able to reach Duke rank in the empire in 90 minutes using Mainani/Ngalinn? Is that true? I've been doing it for a couple of hours now and I've gained one rank, Baron to Viscount.
There is no way anyone can get to duke in 90 mins. The fastest you can expect is at least 5 or 6 hours or as long as 10 to 12 hours depending on your RNG.

Any advice? Im going for fed rank, i notice Ill pick up the missions from 3 Fed factions, but when i deliver at the rescue ship, only one fed faction is available.
Idk if im even gaining fed rank efficiently.

if you do this in bigger ships, you can clear the entire mission board in a couple of runs (all factions...)....they do respawn, but you may be better leaving it 10mins between runs for your sanity, that way a decent number of fed missions respawn between runs.
Annoyed badger yes, more -> better. Because if you deliver them to the rescue station in 8-5 minutes (I don't remember) u will get extra 100k CR

This is a really good method for ranking up Empire/Fed. Shame is, I need to rank up my Empire ranking, and right now there are only 3 damaged stations in the map, and none of them have factions aligned with Empire :(

Yeah I'm pretty sure this no longer works. I go back and forth from the station and rescue ship, and the Fed factions at the damaged station have VERY little passenger missions, and they only reset with the server mission reset (every 10mins). Can you please maybe find another way? Sothis/Ceos is taking forever as well. I know I may be asking a lot :/
EDIT: As of 4/18/19 there is a Fed system attacked by Thargoids and this method works like no tomorrow. Working on my last rank now. Went from rank 9 to rank 12 in about 8 hours max. Thanks so much for this video, and I shall never question your methods again :P Also Edit lol I now have my Vette and need just under a billion credits to out fit it lmao
Just try another station. Mine has 4 empire factions (cause i am doing empire rank) and the mission board never gets empty.
It sucks right now the most federation mission dealers in a station at the minute is 2.
Empire wise the data mission runs in ngalinn are quicker you also get rank up missions in the process. Its 20 missions in a single jump mainani and around 10-15 more returning back ngalinn. Most you have to deal with is a maybe a interdiction every once and awhile and you can be super lazy about it with a docking comp and cruise assist.

There are none currently, the next best fed grind is Sothis/Ceos doing all the Boom time delivery and data delivery.
With the repairing stations you can do source and return missions on those make some good rank grinding, however I'm not sure if it's slower or faster than just doing courier missions

Ahh it was so much pain one week ago ..a frd needed the corvette he was so bored and sothis was in outbreak,have to help him out and the only fun was wing assasination and we finally ended at sol! And after one week of grind and me sharing completed wing mission when he was absent etc all possible ways..

Borgimperator Yes, I was doing it with my conda. But with large ships, I recommend to use shields.
dito, Ana, 4a shield (detonations and flying debris) and a 5D Hull reinforcement in military compartment, 2 heat sinks and I used a docking comp for docking at the rescue ship, rest is economy class passenger cabins (192 passengers per run).
Will acutaly work with any ship, but the more passengers you can take, the more missions you can accept, the faster the progress. So you will want to use anything with a capacity of a Keelback or Type-6 up.
If the faction giving the mission inside the station doesn't belong to the superpower, then maybe the "receiveing" faction will? keep that in mind, when determining which mission to accept. optimum both side belong to the superpower, acceptable only one side, if no mission for rank is available (or to fill up empty cabins) accept the missions, that give crafting materials, avoid missions for powers in lowest position of the mission board , as these are the enemies of the ruling factions and might result in a negative impact to your reputation.
P.S.: Don't bother trying to catch the time bonusses, 2 to 3 min for 5mm and docking process is just to little to catch (imho).

This only works for 1 run. Every time i go back to pick up more passengers the federal factions only spawn 0-2 missions each and it is not worth the time. I’ve started doing one run, then head to Sol to do assassinations, cargo and any other quick missions that offer rep+++++, and then go back to rescue more passengers about an hour later.

Idk if it was nerfed already but yeah happening to me as well. It does accumulate over time go back every half hour. every 10 min it adds another mission. Thinking doing cargo missions and data missions around sol is the best now.
@@invader218 i have the same issue. the timer on the missions is way too long to make it worth it. How do people not see this? Only the fed factions give rank, and there are only 2 factions, with a total of about 10 passenger missions.
@@Forkinatorr I finished ranking up around the sol area took a few hour to finish and finally got my corvette, the ship takes a lot of credits to build up still need to get her combat ready.

Good thing the Thargoids retreated from the bubble and aren't attacking any stations right now, so that I can keep doing the Sothis/Ceos grind.

samuelg315 Type 7 is the best passenger ship in my opinion. I’ve been using it for a while now. It’s made me millions of credits. Lots of passenger space, and it is surprisingly one of the most agile big ships. The turn rate is one of the best I’ve experienced. I’m always able to outrun interdictions easily. Just A Rate the core internals and you’ll be good to go!
I don’t get why people say this ship is slow.. The Type 9 is SLOW..
the Type 7 isn’t fast boost or top speed wise, but it turns amazing
Also, the cockpit is on the bottom of the ship so just stay very close to the bottom of the mail slot when docking and you’ll never have a problem... the Beluga on the other hand... that thing is such a pain in the ass to get in the station

I just went between the named systems around Lave- all are highly populated and will almost always have at least 1 high grade emissions. If there isn't one, just jump to the next system and by the time you cycle back through each the signal sources will have refreshed. You won't get any Isolators but you can get dozens of the others to trade in an hour or so

@@DrunckPolarbear I think this was available as a community event once or twice . Not now . If this was a common event it was nerfed a long time ago . Certainly cant do it now . Ngalinn to Aitvas to Mainani systems for Empire rank is good. Canopus and Synuefe YK-N c23-8 / 18 , Exphiay for Federal rank works as well . You can take a ship fitted out for passenger missions to Robigo / Sothis and Ceos . That is good for reputation as you have a mix of Empire and Fed stations . That is all I found out . Worked for me . Got both Rear Dmiral and Duke Ranks in just over 1 week of playing. Cargo , courier and some easy assassination missions

Best way for Imperial rank is the "Galinn" run and for Feds the Ceo/Sothis run,don't need a big ship or passenger cabins,just couries stuff just short trips and way quicker than this.

Doing it with a Beluga Liner just to test it out.
4x 6E Economy cabins; 1x 5E Economy cabin; 5E Bi-Weave shield (class 4 shields couldn't handle the weight); 1x 4E Economy cabin; 4x 3E Economy cabins; 1x 1D Module Reinforcement. Engineered FSD + Thrusters (all class A cores except D sensors & Life support). 5x Heat Sinks & no hardpoints. Fully loaded it can carry 168 passengers which is about 11-13 missions. With time bonuses now and then I'm still making quite a bit of money even with taking most rewards as rep.
Tbh... as enormous as this ship is... with engineered Thrusters it handles like an Asp Explorer. I use about 4x heat sinks each trip and the module reinforcement helps with heat damage because this ship generates heat very quickly.
Still manages to jump 33Ly fully loaded with 168 passengers & 128T of fuel.
Also, this is an easy way to get materials. Some missions won't give extra rep but will offer materials instead.

@@12com66 Haven't found one yet. Wish I could find one with 5 ore more Fed npcs, but I haven't come across one yet.
The passenger rescues give you massive Rep for whatever faction whos missions you accept at the port, but slows down to a near stand-still once those npcs are Allied with you, so your Federation superpower (or Empire) rep raises slower.

What's the point of this method if you can't find any stations under attack?
You have to go to eddb.io -> stations -> select Economy: Rescue (Min landing pad L), and then check out systems where in result you'll see "Rescue Ship". This is it.Then open system info and check out minor factions. The more Federation factions you will see the better. But some times in the past Frontiers with players support shut down most of these possibilities. Players were enthusiastic and helped FD to make our life harder. Thus, eddb data might be outdated.
PS I've checked out some systems from eddb. All of them where repaired with stupid players' help. So, Empire has Mainani-Ngalinn, but in order to get a Corvette you have to invest 10 times more time. Kind of unfair.

Honestly this method seems so slow to me compared to just finding a place that's in war state and doing rep+++++ assassination missions. I get 10% per mission for assassinations and I can do a single mission in about 3 minutes, meanwhile with rescuing people from stations I get 3% per rep hand in, but it's totally random whether I get it or not. Even if I only pick up people from the fed faction at the station, I get to the rescue ship and have to hand it in to random factions there so I end up getting literally nothing at all. I outfitted a Beluga specifically for this and started just picking up random refugees, and then I'd randomly get some that handed in to the fed factions even though I didn't accept any from the fed factions at the burning station. Too much RNG for me to enjoy for as long as it will take, and it will take longer because of how unreliable it is.
Even in this video it's happening to you. You only took the passengers from the federation faction at the station, but you can see at 6:30 that the refugees you're unloading are for the League of HIP 21167 faction, not the HIP 21167 Exchange federation faction you got them from. Picking the REP+++ reward for this faction doesn't give you any federation rep at all because the faction giving you the reward isn't Federation. IMO this method is far too RNG to reliably grind rank off of, literally anything else would be better.
At the time of my writing this, Sothis/Ceos are in boom and have a lot of REP+++++ cargo missions to run between them that are good, or you can do the REP+++++ mining runs for Sothis mining. Any Federation system in "War" or "Civil War" state also usually have REP+++++ assassination or combat missions, which give you far more rep than rescues and are easy to complete even with an non-engineered ship. Just make sure not to take any wing missions by accident.
My tip: Grind a ton of money and then do those donation missions
How much ?
The fastest way to advance in rankings is this (and there is no other faster) : - almost at all stations there are credit donations missions (1 mil. , 3 mil. 5 mil. etc...) do all those for the superpower factions only and u will advance in rank incredibly fast . Search stations, donate credits as much as u can for faction u want , and just do the mission required (when the level bar is filled) for adavance to next rank....then again just move to stations donate credits and search for mission required for adavncing to next rank and so on(when the rank bar is filled again)....very simple and efficient...of course u need to have some credits to spend but some core mining before all this should to the trick...i litteraly advanced for empire from "outsider" to "baron" in 3-4 hours or so...maybe less..

Take a damn shield! Just bump-shield tier, I wouldn't go bigger than a 3A in a medium ship. The extra couple passengers isn't worth the (high) chance of being smashed into stuff by a nearby explosion

I wonder if you could use a docking computer with a damaged station. At the moment i use a Beluga Liner and i saw several times that even the docking computer had to work hard to not touch the station on the way in (this ship is so big, there is no room for a mistake), i'm not sure i could do it better than the docking computer.

Hmm. Yeah, that's way faster than anything else. Running Robigo Taxi should still be preferable for Empire rank unless the runner already has more than enough creds to buy and A-class a Cutter. But for Corvette rank and those who are already filthy rich this indeed looks ideal.

I messed up and abandoned a Federal Navy mission by mistake. I lost my Sol permit and never heard from them again at that station. I was sad.

I missed the burning stations event. I read your guide on CMDR's toolkit and you said you were able to reach Duke rank in the empire in 90 minutes using Mainani/Ngalinn? Is that true? I've been doing it for a couple of hours now and I've gained one rank, Baron to Viscount.
There is no way anyone can get to duke in 90 mins. The fastest you can expect is at least 5 or 6 hours or as long as 10 to 12 hours depending on your RNG.

Ngelan and mainani are filling up near all day everyday. I sat waiting for a dock to open up for nearly an hour last week. I moved away.
