    Great tutorial.
    One thing to add would be how those kicks score highly, at least under (real) Muay Thai rule sets and scoring, on the open side (body) of an orthodox fighter.
    Another point to be emphasized would be that in order to land the left switch kick, it needs to be set up. As soon as you switch, most fighters will see that coming from a mile away and act accordingly to neutralize it. As such, the switch needs to be concealed behind something - like the combos demonstrated toward the end of this tutorial. They can be hard shots, throw away shots, stiff arms...anything to distract from the switch left kick that you want to land.

    The only kick that was missing was the no step kick, where you fire off your kick quickly, without moving your feet at all first. Doesn't have the same power but it's difficult to see and if it lands on the chin or liver, it's good night Irene. Other than that awesome video.

    • @buggaboo2707
      @buggaboo2707 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It has its disadvantages and advantages... one major disadvantage is that southpaw stance doesn't protect the liver as well

    • @h4rdboiled695
      @h4rdboiled695 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@buggaboo2707 It protects the liver better since thats your closed side in southpaw. One of the biggest advantages of being southpaw vs orthodox is that now their liver is open to your left side attacks and yours is protected from theirs. Much more awkward to left kick a southpaw from orthodox.
