I love when Alyssa looks at McKenzie when she says “No wizard that there is or was” and she nods! Incredible choices from both actors!!!!! They will be missed, but very excited for MK and Alexandra!
I saw her in December, and she is by far the best Elphaba since Idina Mansel I can also say the same for Galinda. When she sang her battle cry I was tearing up and I got shivers I'm so glad she was and always will be remembered as an amazing Elphaba. She truly is a legend 💚💚💚💚
I saw her preform in December and I can honestly say she is the best Elphaba since Idina Mansel, and I can definitely say the same for McKenzie Kurtz as GA- linda lol. I'm so glad I got to see them preform together, they are so amazing. Its so great to see her last time flying, she did a wonderful job, she truly is a legend 💚💚💚💚💚
@Jordysegs89 or you'll continue looking super petty and immature going around on people's last performance videos and responding to comments about the performer in the video by comparing them to another actress who played the role years ago. It's dumb and rude.
I love that she threw in her old Shoshana-esque riff on the High F. What a legend. Thank you so much for posting! Do you happen to have her last TWAI as well?
saw her at the 2:00 show that same day. it was my first time seeing the show, and let me just say she was AMAZING. im not exactly sure, but at the show i saw Allie Trimm was Glinda. it might be McKenzie though.
I really hope this won't _actually_ be her last... Like, I LOVE her vision of Elphaba, and I unfortunately wasn't able to see her because I don't live anywhere near the US, but I absolutely would have if I had the chance. I actually was planning on going in January but unfortunately wasn't able to plan it in time...
I would wager that Alyssa won’t have another *lead* contract, but I would bet money that she will be back to cover a vacation or an emergency, or maybe fill some sort of super limited engagement between Elphabas while they rehearse a new one.
@@Scandisk10 I mean, if technically speaking Jenny DiNoia needed a heir as longest running Elphaba... I'd say Alyssa would be a great candidate to be her heir
@@verasrailway0306 I believe Alyssa is the next Jenny. I feel fairly confident that Jenny has finally closed the book lol, but I suppose we could be surprised haha
@@Scandisk10 I'd also like to see Willemijn back after she does her run in Frozen, but it seems she has been struggling lately... And frankly, I'd never thought we'd get to the point of hearing Willemijn and struggling in the same sentence
I know! I was hoping she will do it or even something more extraordinary like Willemijn Verkaik’s last DG which has millions of views on YT and musical school students are learning from this video how to own the stage.
Stunning! As always, AF is such a star! However, I was hoping she will say goodbye to the role with something extraordinary, like Willemijn Verkaik or some other Elphabas did. It was beautiful but just… as every other show.
It was not the same as every other show since she added in her old riff on the High F that she would always do before they cut it. Wicked is being extremely strict with riffs these days but she still stuck something in to make it special.
@@mrbroadwaydork Yeah, still… Many previous Elphabas went completely brave and unusual at their last performance. Alyssa played very safe. Beautiful as always, but very safe. And by reading many comments, fans were a bit disappointed.
The days of riffing the shit out of your last show are completely gone and haven’t been done since Rachel Tuckers time. JV, HC, LHP, TS etc all just did a few extra ones - bway is gone too strict and they want a career after it. Alyssa did TWAI opt up which has been banned since 2018 and nobody has done even on a last show as well as the High F which equally hasn’t been done. Adding a rib injury and the power & passion she sings with, as well as the fact she does every single approved opt up/riff every night already I don’t think she played it one bit “safe”.
Let’s also acknowledge that Alyssa is known for being extremely consistent. There was nothing “safe” about this performance. It was reliable, solid and a great way to close the book.
One of the best Elphabas of all time. She’s truly a legend. AF forever💚
For me, Alyssa Fox is to this past decade what Eden Espinosa was to the first decade ❤️
Alyssa was the understudy for Eden Espinosa when she was elephaba, they are good friends!

She looks so happy when she flies. I’m so proud of her. 🥺
the way she screams "and NOBODY!!" is so good ah the acting!!
Ugh what an incredible run!!! What an honor to see her fly, and this final show was so so special!!! 🥹😍 What an incredible Elphaba!!!! ❤

So glad I went to their last show. Thanks for putting this up! 😍
She waved goodbye saying "don't you cry I'll be back again some day"
Her "defyYyYYiiiinnGgg gravity" run had me crying. Omg Alyssa you're a treasure I will follow you wherever your next project it. 🥹
Just as well sung as her first performance!! Amazing!
I'm so glad the "tell them hoowww I" is making a comeback.
Happy trails, Alyssa. Can't wait to see what you do next.
7:45 Seeing McKenzie cry in those last few seconds broke my heart
6:55 "how I" 😱🙌🏼
Her ending is the best ending of this song from anybody. Hands down.
A consistent Elphaba true to the score - pure, effortless and nuanced 💚
Alyssa is phenomenal and McKenzie is out of this world as Galinda!!
thank you so much for this!
😢😢😢 Love them miss them wish I saw them both 🩵💚🧹🫧
7:01 that was sooo good 😭
The connection these two had was amazing.
Thank you for this!!! ❤😢
This is amazing, thank you so much for sharing! If you have their last For Good I'd be awesome if you could post it too
Her and Willemijn Verkaik ❤
Yeeeeeeessss 🥹🥹😳
omg i was there too
no deleting videos

It was Allie during the matinee last Sunday.
ah yes, okay! you got the real one! haha, allie was amazing though
Please upload For Good if you can😭
Do you have McKenzie’s last popular and also Alyssa’s no good deed? The show was just absolutely phenomenal!

Wow! What are you filming with, it looks so well lit!?
Do you have Mkenzies last Popular?
SHE DIDN'T BRING BACK THE LEGENDARY TO THOSE WHO GROUND ME RIFF ON HER LAST ONE!?!? :(
I feel this. From the moment she became lead and didn’t do it in her first show I told myself ok she’s absolutely gonna pull that out for her final.
I wanted her to hold that last note to the gods too 😬

ok but do you happen to have Popular? 👀 asking 4 a friend
i’m obsessed with this comment
Alyssa would earn my respect if she just didn’t hold onto the battle cry. Just make sure like how Idina did!
