Dude. I just backed this last week. Pretty simple deckbuilder. I used to play a NES game called 'BaseWars' where you had robots playing/destroying each other in a baseball game, so of course this brought back those 1990's memories. ⚾Super stoked!⚾

There is a dice version for both Baseball Highlights and a stand alone Football Highlights. They are both worth checking out.

The publisher also has a Football Game (Football Highlights 2052), but despite the fact that I'm a MUCH bigger football fan than I am a baseball fan, I prefer BH'45! It was Liz's video that got me on the bases as well a couple years ago!
I only learned about the football game, like, yesterday. I'm a much bigger football fan, too. I'm going to look at it, but I had this feeling lightning wouldn't strike twice, and your comment kind of confirms it!
@@JAlanRykerGames FH'52 does some neat stuff too but I only pull it out a couple times a year, but I play BH'45 a couple times a week or more during baseball season!

I own spring training and backed the new stuff
It's a near certainty that I will get some of the new stuff eventually, as this game will definitely continue to make it to my table
Did you ever try G. I. Joe The Deck Building game? It is an absolutely fabulous solo deck building game and my current favorite deck building game. Definitely worth giving it a few plays.
I have it but haven't tried it yet. I really need to get it to the table, especially since it has expansions coming out!
