    congratulations to PIA commencing KHI-SKU route. It's a great relief for People of Sindh to get easy access to northern peaks. Quite windy approach and effects of Biparjoy on finals

    My question with chairman pia where is sakurdu airport building
    Just runway it's shameful for pia
    There is no arrangement in case of emergency nothing how running this airport with out safety can you send this massage to pia chairman

      There is emergency arrangements over there the building is small Airport is owned by CAA not PIA

    I wonder why the CAPT at any PK carrier has to be elderly and old aged, is that a manifest or checklist item for selection?
    At older age keeping the discipline and following CRM that is written in new era do not match at all. The results are Airblue incident at Margalla hills, Bhoja air incident at ISB and recent PIA incident at KHI where landing commenced without gear down. All this attribute to incapable person sitting on the left seat in the cockpit.
    Irony is that no lessons are learnt and the carriers proudly sport their old age crew as high flying hours under the belt.

      @@tailspinn Its not body shaming my friend, I am highlighting the old age PK carriers endorse for the cockpit crew. I have mentioned the physical appearance of older men with those 3 characteristics.
      Now if you go through the available reports of the 3 accidents all are attributed to the cockpit crew who was occupying the port side seat (left seat) and has more than 2 flaps on shoulder applets.
      Young people with adequate expirience (Flying hours under their belt) are more better in physical and mental performances. Especially when they are following modern era rules and policies. People born in 1950s, 1960s and 1970s face difficulty in understanding and operating modern day tools, machinery, equipment, let alone the full glass cockpits. Hence these souls should now not be made responsible of houndereds of other innocent souls encloused in a pressurized tube connected with wings that are being thrusted in excess of 50k lb-f of multi stage compression jet engines.

      Well you started with body shaming their baldness and body size.
      And mistakes can happen from a young man as well the term human error can be done from you as well.

      @@tailspinn As you are not understanding my point, hence I have edited the old age characteristics from my first comment.
      Now coming to the mistake you can see all the three incidents have old aged captains who failed to deliver due to ego and mental capability . It is far much more likely that a captain of age bracket of 55 will be more prone to mistakes than to a professional air man/woman in the age bracket of 38 to 42 and still the airlines want to keep the old guys. Better younger generation like you and many others be comissioned on merit and let the old age be phased out for the betterment of on board service and safety.

      @MEU The point is human error can happen from anyone young or senior and bhoja accident wasn't a pilot error.
