I flew Frankfurt to London in a 747. It was our 1971 senior year school trip from Frankfurt International School. The 747 was a very new aircraft and was a heck of a treat to get to check out the 2nd level that was had a small walk up bar and bench seats around perimeter. Also saw nude performance of the musical “Hair”! 😝
Wowwwww what a beautiful take off, sooooooooo damn smooth, from the moment the flight took off. I wish the video shouldnt have got over sooo sooon ☺️. What a great capture ❤️✌️. I guess as a passenger it should have been a wonderful experience for anyone.
I have only ever flew once, well twice if you include the return journey. We flew from London Heathrow to Los Angles. Watching this reminds me of my experience aboard a 747. The journey went ok, apart from a scary episode around 90 minutes into the flight. We hit what I later found out to be an air pocket over the North Atlantic, and without any warning, the plane just dropped like a stone for what seemed like an eternity, then when it hit the air again, it shook violently. It was a really scary incident, but after that the rest of the flight went very smoothly, and we landed at LAX around 11 hours later. the return flight was very smooth. Great Memories. Incidently, I alway thought English was the international language for pilots. This pilot was German, and spoke only a few English words, or so it seemed.
The German I learned stationed in Bremerhaven from 1963-66 is no help here, but you don't have to speak the language to get the gist. Good video. Thank you, as well as my respect for the great people of Germany.
What a unique video of the Boeing 747 400 Jumbo Jet taking off, the pilots driving and all the technology such as the headphones the pilots wear and all the digital numbers but what i really love most of all is seeing the view of the sky and the clouds below the jet flying

Very good synchronisation between the cockpit and external cameras. Or, was it great editing? When it was 'Gear up' as heard said by both pilots, the external camera beautifully captured the landing gear retract. Really a great and first-of-its kind watching experience. Very good job, indeed

I think this was Captain Norbert last flights from Germany. That’s why they filmed this video since he had so many experience in flying.
