keep em' coming man, i love this stuff and always learn something from every video of yours! i recently re did my pond this summer, I got a bunch of half inch koi fry from my uncle and i bought a few from a little garden spot down the street so they are all very young still and it makes me feel like shawn because i cant wait to see what they become, keep up the good work guys!

i know this is off topic, but its my first time building a pond and i have a question.. Is it ok to have a pond with nothing on the bottom, just the liner, or no?
I have been waiting for almost a year for more of these videos. Somehow nothing came out the channel. Hopefully you will start making videos later in the summer because that is when koi are best
im uncertain about my pond as it has a layer of dirt at the bottom but does not effect water color but the bits of dirt move around when i turn on my fountain and filter is this bad for my fish and should i get it sorted out

I don't know what to do to get rid of them. I have no koi in the pond right now, and very rarely I get a visitor like a passing duck. Any advise is really appreciated. Thanks!
What about if they have little or no reticulation at all in their 1st or 2nd year? Does that come later regardless if they are OChiba? Or is there any guarantee that reticulation will reveal itself at all?
Ok I cigar this fish in a place where there is a ton of carp. I have seen this fish for 4 years but I was never fishing when I would see it. Finally I went fishing one day and I saw it. So I spent 1 1/2 running up and down the strip mines try to catch it and I finally did. I cannot find out if it is a carp with a mutation or a koi. If I could contact you some how and show u a pic to find out what it really is. That would be awesome. Thank u

My koi wont really eat its warm outside but never over 80°f do u think thy wont really eat cause they are sick or they wont rush for the food cause there isnt that many fish in the pond so they dont feel in competition? Also i do regular water changes and i heavy heavy filteration the pond is 10000litres

YES! You will need to run a vacuum in the bottom of the pond occasionally.

I believe a heavy copper dose would kill the leeches. I'll have to double check.

My koi seems to be a bottom feeder, I try feeding him floating pallets but he doesn't seem to go for it. How can I make him go for floating ones.

try toss in food without the fish seeing you and see if they eat then.
