i think its important to remember
very few competitions are about "fairness"
they are about competition
the goal is to make somewhat competitive divisions
and i would argue this was pretty competitive

Congrats to the Turkish archer, she shot well, also respect to the Indian archer, only 16 years old and only took up the sport 11 months ago, give her a few years and she will be a gold medalist
16 years old, no arms. Still able to archer at one of the biggest stage. It says a tons how amazingly talented she is. She as much as strong and brave she is. Salute to her. Her parents to raise such a strong girl. We need more ppl like her. 🥇💪🏻
Just straight talent. I’ll never stop being amazed that people can shoot compounds with their legs. How does she not drop the bow after shooting? I didn’t notice a strap on it. It’s simply amazing.

Devi's skill is great, I have seen another championship match. In both games she starts with 10 s with great focus, but from 3rd set she's having consistency issues scoring 10. She's very young and she will learn and become a great champion in very near future. My best wishes for her.

To be frank, I'd say it's a very unfair contest. For me, Devi is the "winner". Despite her inferior physical ability compared to her competitor, she shot incredibly. Hats off to Sheetal Devi!

I just watched another video Sheetal won a silver metal I believe in India in a competition and then I found this video. I made a comment in the last video that I expected her to be in the World Olympics competing for the gold but then two minutes later I find that she already had. I personally believe she is better than the lady with two arms because of her handicap. It's very possible if she had two arms she could have won but of course we will never know. I think it's better if people are able to compete with others who have similar handicaps like others without arms but maybe there aren't other people competing who don't have two arms so this ends up being the only other option. I guess she won the silver in this competition but I didn't hear them say anything. That is normally what happens unless it was just a competition for the gold and that was it but I've never heard of that.

There was competition. Anyone can lose an archery competition, even completely able bodied people. I've done informal competitions at an archery club, where the one disabled archer just competed with the rest of us able bodied archers, and she wasn't disadvantaged in terms of how well she could do. She was the one teaching me at times in that archery club.
