In my younger years I always chased Hp and a top speed number, Now that im in my 40s I appreciate the small things like handling/ suspension and fun factor. I got to ride in one of these at a AUDI gathering in Kentucky, awesome car
Totally agree, and I'm not even in my 30s yet. There's something special about a small, nimble car with a howling engine down some twisty mountain roads. More so than going at any speed. Anything with around 200 horses per ton is enough.
For my 18th birthday my friends dad let me drive his R8 V10 Gated manual for one day. It was the best day of my life. Dream car, I hope to own one day. And keep along side my ‘95 Audi S6.
Max amazing video mate!!! You really display how all of us enthusiasts feel. You should try to find a Audi TT Abt limited addition to drive, I would love to see you review it. Not the fastera car but a very beautiful one and it would be cool to see how much wider it is than the regular mk1 tt!!!🔥

It’s a 2008 btw, and personally I think the original looks so much better with the original light, adds elegance and so great. Unique design, the facelift just looks like every other car now with those updated lights.
@@thezerastora ooh. Congrats man, I always loved the 1st Gen V10 Plus Manual (in white preferably) but the V8 is quickly growing in me, it sounds so good, you can go fast without going nuts fast and still enjoy it as much, plus they are a lot cheaper, I wish One day I can buy one too :)
...there is desperatelly missing manufacturer of aftermarket high-quality hard-tops for convertibles ( like Merc SL R129 had) to unable winter drive w/o necessity of exposing fabric roof to freezing out that cases sooner shrinking of the fabric....first owners don't care having several cars and changing toy car every 3 years but second hand owners are those who need their car be more than summer-weekend toy....with current tech options it is on disposal open such business...
feels like the engine is slightly slower than the V10, probably due to the heavier flywheel? You really have to bang on the shift with the V10 or the rev will drop way too fast...the V8 is so much better to use in this term

I still think 4.2s to 62mph and 187mph is pretty quick considering that c class was doing 100mph and you still where in front of them I mean it’s pretty quick.
Well in today's standards, not really that "quick" anymore... But that's not the point though, it's about enjoyment and that is something the car has that modern cars tend to not have.

That's funny, I've always cared about handling first. High speed gives you much less pleasure than driving at the max through the corners.
@Starstrike compare it to all the performance models right now. 200hp / ton is not much. MX-5 is around there and is by no means fast.
