After the test ride is 400x, I immediately remove the Himayan 450 from my list. Adequate, smooth, precise gear change, light clutch, well made Scrambler. I could not fault it in any way. Unfortunately... After long consideration, I decided to get Hero Xpulse 200 Pro instead. I've decided that it is my riding skills, especially off-road. I have no issue thrashing an xpulse, but not this Scramblers. I'll give it a few more years before moving up to Scrambler, I'm sure by then, it would be a better version.
Bro, I'm thinking of taking the Scrambler 400x in a week, but I think the handling is better on the Speed 400. My use is mostly in the city and I'm 6'2" tall. Please suggest which one to go for Speed or Scrambler ??
@yudhishcondoor571 well, I'm 5'6" and I do tiptoe on scrambler. Despite tiptoeing, I bought the scrambler 400x because I personally like tall bikes. Reason why I bought scrambler 400x over speed400 is because of the ground clearance. 400x has 195 mm which reduces the scraping of speed breakers whereas speed400 has 158mm. Also speed400 gets plastic sump guard and you can get an aluminum sump guard as an add-on accessory, whereas 400x gets an aluminum sump guard as standard. Between speed400 and scrambler 400x, I'd strongly suggest you to go for a test drive and according you decide which bike to get 😊😊😊
Met Karan on the day this video was shot, very sound guy indeed cleared my doubt whether to get the speed or the scrambler and I'm glad I chose the scrambler which just got delivered to me Yesterday.
@@Sktyy1139 Vibration is a deal breaker for many, especially considering the price. For staying limited to 100-105 kmph cruising speed, the Honda CB 350 and Meteor 350 also manages without any stress
Very nice video on Scramblers! ❤ Though I love the idea, I preferred the road version and went for its sibling Speed. And I am impressed at how the Speed was easily taken by folks to the peaks of the Himalayas!
@@sylence8409 there are a few cons.. like despite its high fit and finish levels the parts are not so strong ..like for instance i dropped the bike one time and despite having hand guards the tip of the clutch lever broke and the gear shifter bent.. U cannot install any third party accessories like leg guards/flyscreens etc ..as it voids the warranty And then there is the issue of limited showrooms hence less places for service
Great video overall! For daily commuting, between this & the Interceptor which one do you think is better set out of the factory? Stay strong, ride on!
Hey. Need a suggestion. I am currently riding a RE Thunderbird 350x and planning to upgrade to a Triumph Scrambler 400x. I am somewhere around 6ft1and when i took a test drive, i felt the vehicle to be satisfying my comfort and also the performance bit of it ( Coming from 19bhp, this bike is a good 40 bhp power). Do you feel that this would be worth the upgrade?
Built a custom scrambler on the classic 350 and now it feels like this or the Husky 401 is a natural upgrade. Hopefully the Versys 300 is priced better. Cherry on the cake would be if Aprilia makes a Tuareg 457. It’s good to dream, I guess?
Rightly said. They should have made RPM analogue and speed digital. And slight bigger digital display than current. Even fuel bar is hard to see clearly on the go
This bike is so mellow. Does not have any character. This bike is not the first boy in class nor the last one. There is no rush in the acceleration. It just takes the fun away from motorcycling.
Around 6000 rpm you feel a slight buzz on the pegs at 120kmph but if you speed up above 130 that buzz goes away. One important thing to remember all single cylinders will always have vibrations as there is no other cylinder to offset it.

Like you, i look like a nerd. But i have ridden bullet 350 since school days. Now at 45 plus i plan to buy a motorcycle other than a bullet. I loved your video.
Eh. Whatever scremblers can do, ADVs can do better (most of it anyway). Most ADVs can do offroad just as well as scramblers, are significantly superior on the highways and manageable in the city. For example the delta between the performance of the scrambler 400x 0ff road and on highways vs the Himalayan 450 is far greater than the delta himalayan has to the SC400x in the city.
Service is a shit 💩 dont but bike because u will suffer a lot while serving your bike i have speed 400 they stole my petrol of 9 liter’s not expected from triumph they are bajaj not triumph
Useless review. You could have better added the raw sound of the bike. No one is here to listen to your irritating bg sound and two cents opinion on the machine...

Xpulse is no brainer for off road , specially due to low weight. Also parts are cheap
There you are a gem of a motorcyclist 🫡
That scratch on silencer is killing me
After the 1st service, bike feels lot smoother .
It will get way more smoother after 2k kms on the odo.. there was considerable difference in engine smoothness & performance after in mine..👍🏼

Looks like this is the only motorcycle required in the garage, but expected PD to highlight the negatives also
No such negative bro except seat height and vibration above 106kmph if u cruise at 100 this is the best machine for everything.
Engine clutter noise and stalling issues
With weak breaks

Would love to see a video on education us about the various types of bikes for instance Scrambler, Roadster, Cruiser, Off roader, Tourer etc
Must buy a Scrambler... Anyway nice pictures on the wall..
Shot and edited so well!! 🤘🏽💥💥
Thanks Anirban!
Amazing bike. Lower seat height option would definitely be a game changer!
😊😊😅😮😮😮😮😮😅😅😮
We agree!
It's my favourite bike at the moment, but I don't have ₹3.11 lac at my disposal!😅
It's more like 3.6 on road
This warrants a comparison between all the middleweights that have 'scrambler' in their name
Appreciate pd effort they put to make video different ❤
Much appreciated Pushkar!
Got one for myself after a lot of thinking...worth every rupee!!!!!!!!
for the background score- Jahapana tussi great ho, tofa kabul karo!

the 452 based scram will be a appropriate competition for the 400x I suppose
Nah, this is a much better engine
Love the way it looks and everything is so functional and nothing on the face 😊👍. Shame that i don't have a showroom in my city yet 😐

Ok, I have to ask, where are those trails? I have to go check these out too.

Man talk about your production gear . Everything is on point .
Is the pillion seat comfortable enough for daily commutes and occasional tours?
Guys kindly suggest scrambler or Husqvarna 401

What about braking in city, offroad and highways?
Shouldn't Karan be Karan singh @bikeswithkaran😁

Plz DO NOT compare it with MAVRICK, it will be an unfair game

What's the size of the front and rear sprocket of the scrambler 400x?

Is it comfortable for 5.5" rider??
