this is one of the final bosses of travis picking. thank you for this I learned how to play all parts I just have to memorize now them in sequence. it took a looooong time but well worth it:)
Thaaaaaanks sssoooo much this was very helpful to learn this somewhat not so easy piece of guitar playing! You have put so much work in it- thanks a million times
Thank you very much for doing this tutorial played slow, you are great.... really... i edited this comment because I'm getting through this and its because you did this video. Bless you.
Thank you for this. I would only add that in the beginning both Jerry and Tommy use their pinky in that opening phrase. Took me a second to realize. Nothing wrong with playing it w/out the pinky necessarily, just not how they did it.
Yes, you are right. As I pointed out in the video description, I've changed the original left fingering for the first position, to easy those like me who have 'human pinkies'. Thanks for comment.
@Frank Miceli You cannot change "current tempo" as it is locked, but you can activate "relative speed" (next to the loop icon) and adjust the percentage to slow it down.
Thanks for the info. Worked perfectly. Once last question. On the first two bar (for example), on the video, you change finger/fret locations. Could't you just keep 654 down the whole time and use your little/pinky finger for everything else (777), or am I missing something.
Yes, that is exactly what TE and others do. But my pinky is not strong enough to get a clean sound in that way, and I assume I'm not the only one. So I suggested an alternative fingering which achieves the same result by using the strongest annular (it is the only difference with the original fingering). If you feel comfortable using the little finger I think it is not difficult to replace that piece of fingering.

Thank you so much for tabbing these out and making tutorials! Makes the learning these arrangements so much easier!

I paid and download the tab for GP 7.5 but I cant slow it down. It appears to be locked. Anyone know how to fix that.

@@RadonsAtremble You wouldn't happen to have the tabs for Jerry Reed's Twitchy. I'm looking for that.
