@HikVisionGuru any idea why settings keep reverting back? I'm changing the time the supplement light comes on on the nvr. Click apply and go back. When i look again its reverted to what it was before.

Hi I previously asked about live view playback from my NVR on my iPhone, tried everything suggested from frame rate to encryption (H.265+) Cannot find any resolution to this as I’ve asked many people and the same answer comes back to tweaking settings like bitrate etc. HELP
Hi Trevor, what model NVR, and cameras are you using? Also if know, what firmware versions? Is it a manual playback you are trying or an event playback or? What error comes up or does it just not load or?
I am running a DS-7604NI-k1/4P NVR with Four DS-2CD2386G2-IU 8Mp cameras. The NVR is running on firmware V4.72.100 build 220628 Cameras V5.7.10 build 220830 x2 V5.5.801 build 211105 x2 Free bandwidth: 25 Mbps Cameras are set to 1920/1080P bitrate type,variable video quality, medium frame rate full frame Encoding H.265. Max bitrate mode & Max bitrate (Kbps) (greyed out unavailable) Everything runs as it should apart from the playback can bit quite jumpy at times regardless of what settings I use 🤷🏾♂️
@@trevorwilson5739 the latest NVR firmware is 4.72.106, this update says “Fix known defects and optimize product performance”. Always worth updating. 2 of your cameras are up to date, running 5.7.10 So you are running 8mp 4k cameras at 1080p? If you virtual host into each camera, and make sure they are all set to 1080P also, not just on the NVR.
@@trevorwilson5739 also change encoding to plain 264, only use 265 if you are struggling for storage space. 265 is known to be buggy, even HikVision recommend running 264 when I call them.

2 of your cameras are up to date, running 5.7.10
So you are running 8mp 4k cameras at 1080p? If you virtual host into each camera, and make sure they are all set to 1080P also, not just on the NVR.
