Hello i have l494 range rover sport 2014 model. I have my airbag light on and it comes and goes.. will this device work to erase the codes? Is it easy to use?
The SRS airbag light is on in my (recently acquired) '97 Range Rover. It failed the inspection here in Virginia. I took it to the Range Rover Dearlership and they tested it and told me there was a circuit failure and that it would cost......ready for this.......$4100 parts and labor to replace the passanger side air bag. My question is, is there a way to check this out to make sure it's not just a fuse? They said no. I don't believe them. How do I turn that light off. Oh yeah, I paid just $2000 for this vechile. Runs great, small oil leak, great body, no dents etc. Help!
It's possible a loose connection, but no promises. I can however tell you if the fuse blows, replacing the fuse will not reset the SRS by it's self. It has to be reset after a good fuse is installed. I'm fighting that reset step now and hope Autel can make their tool work on a 1996 Discovery. Currently, my AL619 only lists 1998 and newer Discoveries. I see it only lists 1999 and newer Range Rovers, by the way.

On my autobiography 2016 it comes on the roof for 30 seconds and goes off but srs red light on the roof staying on.

Bob Fahy auto haus is in williamsburg and is far cheaper than the dealership. They specialize in european cars...
