The tilting Mirror thing only works if you set the car to "tilt mirrors" in the dashboard vehicle set up.

while in drive, slide your gear leaver over to the shifting mode without activating manually shifting puts it in automatic sport mode, makes the truck a lot more fun to drive.
Yeah this definitely livens it up a little with shorter ratios for improved performance, holds each each longer, etc.

THIS, this was a source why my fuses kept blowing and transmission fault on dashboardm, I took center console apart and went once over. found three wires toward the cooler pinched in a weird U into V between plastic panel in housing. spliced that area. No more faults. So you guys that has cooler and has weird transmission fault. Check there.
Its an option for all RR sports worldwide not just US ..

If you put hazard lights on , then go outside the car and press the open and lights on the same time , the car suspension go up and down
also, press and HOLD valet button on the HMI for like 10? or so seconds a secret menu comes up it shows all kinds of stuff, its useful to verify firmwire version, etc.

Anyone know about heated seats. My 2013 sport hse has the buttons for heated seats, the holes for cooled seats. Can’t figure out how to get the cooled seats to turn on.
Not sure what year or package you have but for the 2012 HSE lux there’s 360 cameras just go to the camera section on the Nav and select curb view and you’ll be able to see everything without having to mess up your mirror settings
Mine is the 2011 so didn't have the 360 cams, shame as that would have been handy.
I have it on 2011 HSE Luxury. Its optional extra
HSE Luxury didnt come standard with 360 cameras, also alot of people dont actually have the luxury pack when they think they do, if it doesn't say it in the log book and or have the badge, it dont have it.
The only thing I didn't knew were the cup holders !!!

Makes you wonder why Land Rover bother producing an owners manual 😂 Did you know, if your Land Rover has memory seats, you can also save the wing mirror positions with that seat position and that includes the dip function too. Did you know, if you press the door lock and door unlock button on the dash at the same time, it will release the boot? Fascinating
If you press all the buttons at the same exact time ( within .02 second exact) then the car will self destruct.

@@oladimejiverrissimo1708 I have a 2013 AB. Had to do the timing chain at about 120 000km but that is to be expected on the V8 and I bought a warranty specifically for it. Other than that my water pump went at about 130 000km.

Hi. What do you recommend to prevent crankshaft failure. Many people are saying that Land Rover should recall it and are urging them but many owners say with proper maintenance it's okay
I'm in the second camp, it seems well-maintained, cared-for vehicles are less prone to failures such as this. I've had mine 8 years without any major issues.

I don't think it can be set to automatically operate like that on the L320 platform. There may be some clever software coding update out there from some companies, but I'm not aware of that being possible just from the standard settings.

You can get a Bluetooth to auxiliary device and it can plug into the cigarette lighter in the back, allowing you to have bluetooth in your range rover sport L320
There is a better one that plugs into the now worthless iPod connector in the center console.
Yes it’s called the Bovee 1000. I have it, it’s a bit pricey, but we’ll worth it.
Do you know how to direct air flow to the side windows in the back? They are heated but they also have air vents to help with defrosting.

@@al-s I mean there are vents and heaters in the glass so I assume those vents can be activated somehow. Nothing in the manual..

How do you disable the tilting mirror when reversing. It tilts too low
Just set mine up on my 2006 RRS HSE. It is connected with the seat memory function. Basically you set your seat up correctly and then press butoon M1, 2 0r 3 on the seat to store it. Then put car into reverse and adjust the angle of each mirror so you have the angl;e of tilt that you want and then press the memory button on the seat again. You should get a little message come up on the dash saying mirror position stored (orsomething similar - cant remember!). It details the procedure in the handbook. Hope this helps.

@@omininall36 hazards or 4 way flashers must be on. Then when ready hit the landrover button + unlock to lower it, then landrover button + lock to raise it. Pretty simple and useful if loading heavy stuff

Yes but only for phone calls. Remember this was back before music streaming via bluetooth was really a thing.

Just purchase a Bovee 1000 plug into your ipod socket inside your center console. Then sync it and your able to listen to music from your phone.
With the reverse wing mirrors, I knew you could change them with the selector however I'm pretty sure you need to activate it on the dash?

Just a tip. Not everyone owns this model. Perhaps tell people what series this applies to? L320, L322, L 405, L494. Or whatever model yours is. I have a 2008 and I do not have many of these features. This looks like a HSE perhaps. Cheers.

As far as mirrors - what I dont like is that they automatically unfold when you open passenger or rear doors.
Why? You obviously not going anywhere if you do not open driver door, why wear mechenisms out without neccesity... if you open trunk lid, mirros dont unfold and in my opinion, they should not with passenger and rear doors opening.
Also, there is no automatic fold-unfold disable, as I live in suburbs, I dont need that feature at all.

Not always. comes with region.
Europeans, Brits also call front quarter panels - wings, so it may comes from that as originally side mirrors were placed on quarter panels... just my thought.
