Man I miss these types of videos on titanfall. Thanks for unloading them. I feel in love with titanfall 2 when it first came out, thought it was going to be really popular, too bad I was wrong. I never got the chance to play play titanfall 1 tho, because I have played on the PlayStation consoles and never switched.
The size of the titan is just about as large as you'd ever want a walking infantry vehicle to ever be, and, much like in trailers, they would be incredibly vulnerable to buy larger man-portable and machine-portable weapons systems.. they'd almost literally be glass cannons, except in situations where no countermeasure is present. They're overly expensive and under-effective for even modern battlefields. A titan would cost 100s of millions of dollars and could easily be taken out by a single rocket
The game's population was unfortunately declining, what was left of it increasingly felt like a community of cloak campers, hit-scanners and A-WALL abusers. Titanfall is very much a mobility game, yet for months it felt to me as though the player-base had no idea this was the case. I sold the game out of frustration as it didn't appear that Respawn would be doing anything to balance against campers and such. In short, I basically rage quit the franchise. Jacob didn't lose interest as far as i'm aware, but he did stop playing the game which didn't help sway my decision to sell it in the first place. Luckily these problems aren't as prevalent since I bought the game back, so my interest in the series has re-ignited, and I can actively jump into fun games. -Zere
You're obviously entitled to disagree, but our experiences are clearly different. I play on both Xbox and PC, near every match I have has at least 3 cloak pilots on the enemy team, almost always all of them rely on hit-scan weapons. PC tops at about 3k players from what I've seen, I never see more than about 6-7k on xbox, and even then, that's not a lot; takes 5+ minutes to find a match in mix-tape with everything selected for me usually. I'm playing as I type this comment and it has been exactly as I described for the past 6-8 matches. After typing that original comment I decided to log on, and it seems the campers and such have seeped back in. I agree that the community is as thriving as ever in terms of the game population, but I think that has something to do with the fact that this game was never popular with the mainstream audience, so this has been the state of the game since very shortly after launch. I love Titanfall, but I do get some painful experiences with it.
I don't know either. But if there if one thing I know is that..... Your journey ends here pilot, the skies belong to me. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. #speedislife Btw, I see you on every Titanfall video.
It was one of the new Titans introduced in Titanfall Online. We're still not sure if these are actually canon but until such a time when we're told otherwise, we're operating on the presumption that they are.
Northstar and monarch because I like to play smart and help and get the most out of my teammates and me so we can be most effective and work like a unit or team also alternator or car because I love getting the frontlines action and I need to have the best of the best to do what I do as a pilot.the grapple, pulse and phase shift is what the three abilities I’d use in the game but pulse blade would be my number one ability all the time because I loved using it before in the first game and before even stepping a foot on that battlefield I’d need to know exactly what I’m doing on the frontier my objective and what I’m supposed to protect, help, etc.but the other two like grapple and phase would be a backup ,counter ,etc to the enemy team in short I’d be the ultimate pilot on the field you just wouldn’t know it till you faced me then yet.
I really like that Respawn took the Star Wars approach for the Titans, Robots, and Droids. Machines with Human tendencies, motives, and feelings. Titans are not slaves, nor pets, and not exactly weapons. They are meant to friends, allies, and even family members, like a loyal Horse. I like the tiny detail that it would seen that even the most despicable and dishonorable Pilot or Titan user, has huge respect and caring for their Titans. For example Micah from RDR2 though he's the main antagonist and a right down ASS-WHOLE, but if you pay close attention in the cut-scenes the only thing he seems to be kind to it's he's Horse Baylock.
To clarify, as far as we're aware the only Titans capable of near-sentience are the Vanguard class. All other known classes as of the making of this video were strictly programmed mechs that were only capable of a limited set of commands. -Zere
In regards to format I believe the visuals are lovely but it is just marketing material after a while you just tuning out I suggest you definitely increase the amount of times images pop up in relation to the narration this will give a visual Sides to the audio keeping the viewer engaged
We're both in agreement here, it's something we'll be trying to improve for Ep4. There's a couple of moments I've definitely thought we could do a better job of visually representing what we;re talking about on-screen, and I'm very keen to try and improve in this regard going forward. - Jacob
When he says we'll be trying to improve for Ep4, he means I've already made those changes. Episode 4 is releasing next Friday, HUD is updated and the footage on screen has been made to better accommodate what is being spoken about, along with heavier use of the preview box. It's a pain in the ass and takes hours upon hours edit, so hopefully everyone enjoys the extra effort.
I like the video, but I'd prefer you keep it serious with some of the clips you show us. Showing a Legion spinning uncontrollably and a trailer of "Life is better with a Titan" doesn't exactly give me a feeling of a military briefing and professionalism. That is of course, my opinion and you can do what you want as you so choose.
Party pooper. But it's worth mentioning that we don't want to take ourselves too seriously with this series, otherwise we risk falling into fan-fiction territory and disliking our own content. We've gotta have some fun with these edits, otherwise we're just not going to enjoy making them, and that will lead to us not making them at all. On that note though, Episode 4 doesn't feature any clips like that, as I didn't get around to adding them. -Zere
I'll make a note of this anyway so if other people also complain about joke-clips, then i'll tone them down to shorter bursts whenever they appear. Thanks for the support. -Zere
I laughed so hard at the spinning legion
Most sane legion player
Only 800 subs with this quality!?! Madness!
IKR!!!
3:28 Is that the legion that goes oieeaoieea?
This was incredibly intelligent and well put together. Liked and subscribed. Thank you sir.
Thanks for the support, share around if you feel like doing so, new viewers are always appreciated. -Zere
Advocate Network yes sir I will. I'd love to support and grow the Titanfall community.

I always thought titanfall would be better like a battlefield than a COD
YES THANK YOU I BEEN SAYING THIS lol. Give me tanks ,jets and titans with a big destructible map like battlefield man then we got a game.
@@Patriothouse325 Well a titan is already kind of a walking tank.
Angel Rivera Why a tank when you have a titan?
Bf 109 F2
depends. If your a ‘grunt’ you won’t have access to titans. Only pilots have them.
@@chadhendrickson2646 no, a tank can be faster and has a lower profile. Categorically and tactically different

Interesting. I thought all Titans used the neural link.
You learn something new every day.
Please at some point do an episode on all of the factions

How do you lose interest in Titanfall XD
But nice that it's back

Advocate Network I felt the exact same, which is why I just play Titanfall 1 instead
loverofjesusMKII Titanfall 1 is best Titanfall
Prefer 2 for its campaign and gameplay personally. Not bashing 1 though, still a great game with a great art style. -Zere

I'm curious about Simulacrons
YES IT’S BACK WOOHOO
If titans can't climb why do they use them instead of the more powerful tank?
Tanks are not so flexible and adapted to battle in urban/colonial conditions
