Viper is my favorite. Im just a sucker for a faceless efficient soldier. His cockiness in our fight was also completely justified considering his skill and experience.he probably thought of us as a rookie pilot. Not a threat to him. But a vanguard titan can really make a difference in a fight. Plus his voice in the helmet is so cool.
Viper’s my personal favorite because he’s not a deranged psychopath like Richter, an insane junkie like Kane, a maniacal simulacrum like Ash, or a sadist like Slone. He’s just really, really good at his job and he’s about as cocky as a pilot of his caliber should be. He’s also really cool because of the way he carries himself and the way he talks
Oddly enough he was less difficult to me then Richter. I found that just walking from left to right while shooting him as Ion worked very well. He can’t snipe you if you’re constantly moving and when he fires his rockets you can just stand still for a second then sprint. They’ll all miss. The only thing that annoyed me was having to land a shoulder laser every time he launched a barrage since it gave him a shield.
I think the reason viper is noteworthy is that he’s basically the IMC equivalent of cooper, in relation to how the story plays out. Basically, you’ve got dangerous, pre-established characters with introductions within the story, then a guy who comes out of nowhere to kick the shit out of them.
Never really thought about it, but the Apex Games are like Blisk's recruitment test. He's literally looking for the best warriors to rebuild his Apex Predators. Just imagine him rounding out a new squad from the Apex Legends roster.
Top picks based off lore strengths and in game: Wraith if she remembers her full past, will probably be a complete killing machine. Loba because she probably will help ash. Wattson being a designer and scientist, Probably caustic too just as an advisor. Rampart and octane have their defining skills that would make them great too, but they do like to tuck around and find out lol. Same could be said for mirage
I really like the theory of Cooper being a regenerated elite mercenary captured by the Militia. He doesn't remember being one, but his top-notch skills are still present

There is a one, admittedly thin, theory concerning Viper. After Cooper supposedly kills him, his model is shown with his visor still on, and an indicator of life in the multiplayer where the pilot models have lit visors when active. However, this could just be that Respawn didn't have another Viper model, but I would still like to see more of him. He had the biggest "rule of cool" thing out of all the Predators, and his demeanour reminds me a lot of Char Aznable from Gundam, who he was supposedly based off of. Definitely my favourite out of all of them by far.
One time I grenaded viper and while his cutscene death still played out a rag doll copy of him flew out of the Titan and it had the helmet visor off so I think they had a model and just forgot to edit the lights

Yeah, it was so surprising to me with my first Master playthrough how easy she was. At the end I was like "Oh.. that was.. anti-climatic." Especially since I struggled on Viper so much in Masters. For me, he was a true final boss.

@@_s0mm_ well that’s all based off of your own play style so I can’t make you just play any type of pilot, I personally use atom because I love being able to outrun pilots either running away or trying to chase them, this is for multiplayer I’m assuming, so just try out all and see which one you had the most fun with, that’ll be the one you should main
we generally don't give jack enough credit for just how good he was. Sure, he had a lot of help from BT[rest in peace buddy] but even when he was the one in control, he canonically out gunned and outsmarted the greatest pilots blisk could gather. Unlike the other legends, who are experienced fighters but still very much a ragtag group, cooper is a cold hearted veteran who probably dosen't even need a titan to dominate the apex games. If he ever gets put into apex legends, canonically, he'd probably be one of the toughest fighters out there. Heck, he'd give blisk a run for his money, if not just outright beat the shit out of him.
That's the thing I like about Blisk. After his entire strike team died, he gives him a card to recruit Cooper. He is a mercenary who knows the risk and makes every one of his comrades aware of what they are signing up for, and nothing he does is personal. It's all business, no had feelings.

The voice lines in game actually reflect this, with Sarah Briggs saying "We have one last Vanguard in the racks, I'm pulling its datacore and prepping it for titanfall." IIRC the reason the IMC were outgunned by the combo of Jack/BT was specifically because BT was a Vanguard, being able to adapt and change in the midst of battle. This is even reflected in multiplayer with the Monarch, the sole titan based on the Vanguard chassis. Monarch is a rebuilt and upgraded Vanguard that was reverse engineered by Hammond, but retains some of the militia's upgradeability through her Upgrade Core. Overall great vid though, really enjoyed.
Blisk is extremely smart, he purposely spit the apex predators up to be killed one by one, so he can keep all the bounty to himself, reminds me of the dark knight joker bank heist scene, truly the top of the food chain.

Nah Apex Legends takes place AFTER the frontier war, or the frontier war has moved from the frontier. Titanfall 3 would take place VEERRY far from Apex or before Apex.

I've always loved the Bad Guy Origin stories. Watch how Handsome Jack, the Templars from AC, and Magneto go from the righteous (and occasionally overzealous) protectors of good, or sometimes just random dudes, to major, evil domineering forces. I'd absolutely LOVE to see a story that explores Viper's backstory, all his weird quirks, and how he joined the Apex Predators. Maybe as a teenager he was just some random kid, whose whole family (and probably whole planet) works for the IMC. He joins their military wing after showing promise as a fighter, turns out to be an incredibly effective pilot, both through his extraordinary discipline in combat, and his amazing engineering ability. He's sent to the IMC's Pegasus test program (the only actual canon), where he's partnered up with someone who he grows an extreme connection too. That person ends up dying after popping open their hatch and exposing themselves to showboat. This is why Viper is the only predator in TF2 to never open his cockpit hatch or take off his helmet. In a fit of anger and grief, he quits the IMC, knowing that he can get a job with the Predators, so he no longer relies on an IMC paycheck. He uses his incredible engineering skill to replicate the Brute/Northstar prototypes from the Pegasus program, except this time, with all the extra money and combat experience he's getting from fighting with the Predators he's able to customize the Brute WAY more, turning into his personal aerial killing machine.
It would be cool if when the roster for Apex Legends have been finalized and there would be no more new legends, they would be the members of the Apex Predators going forward in the Titanfall universe. The OG Apex Predators were cool, but seeing these characters we've played with for countless hours be the new faces of a legendary mercenary group would be so satisfying.

Outland is not a planet it's a set of planets set the furthest away from the core planets controlled by the imc. It takes approximately 20 years to get to the outlands but a few have managed to do it in a year like Bangalore and Blisk

Master difficulty made me cry in frustration from fighting Viper, died like 16 times, hardest boss in the game.

Can’t wait to see how else they connect. So far you saw Ashe in lobas side quest bliss in cinematically all over the game. And now vyper and his family kinda dope.

I've always loved the Bad Guy Origin stories. Watch how Handsome Jack, the Templars from AC, and Magneto go from the righteous (and occasionally overzealous) protectors of good, or sometimes just random dudes, to major, evil domineering forces. I'd absolutely LOVE to see a story that explores Viper's backstory, all his weird quirks, and how he joined the Apex Predators. Maybe as a teenager he was just some random kid, whose whole family (and probably whole planet) works for the IMC. He joins their military wing after showing promise as a fighter, turns out to be an incredibly effective pilot, both through his extraordinary discipline in combat, and his amazing engineering ability. He's sent to the IMC's Pegasus test program (the only actual canon), where he's partnered up with someone who he grows an extreme connection too. That person ends up dying after popping open their hatch and exposing themselves to showboat. This is why Viper is the only predator in TF2 to never open his cockpit hatch or take off his helmet. In a fit of anger and grief, he quits the IMC, knowing that he can get a job with the Predators, so he no longer relies on an IMC paycheck. He uses his incredible engineering skill to replicate the Brute/Northstar prototypes from the Pegasus program, except this time, with all the extra money and combat experience he's getting from fighting with the Predators he's able to customize the Brute WAY more, turning into his personal aerial killing machine.

It would be cool if when the roster for Apex Legends have been finalized and there would be no more new legends, they would be the members of the Apex Predators going forward in the Titanfall universe. The OG Apex Predators were cool, but seeing these characters we've played with for countless hours be the new faces of a legendary mercenary group would be so satisfying.
The problem is Titans are so much stronger then regular soldiers, so none of the apex games legends would compare to a titan.

> Hires a group of elite pilots and destructive titans
> One by one, all of these pilots and titans die to a rookie
> Sees his right-hand pilot die
> Doesn't care
> Invites him to join the very faction this rookie massacred
> Says they can't kill each other because his contract is done

Viper still haunts me. I spent days trying to beat him only to get blown up again and again. It felt so good though beating her in the end though. He was by far the hardest in game predator besides richter maybe

Only reason Viper died was because his daughter crashed his Titan before he left leaving the hatch damaged and allowed Cooper to kill him
A while back, it was revealed that Ash's original "form" Ashley Reid was stabbed by one of the scientists that were working on something (idk i am too lazy to check the Apex stories from the outlands),
And well, yeah her brain got put into a simulacrum and we are where we are.

Outland is not a planet it's a set of planets set the furthest away from the core planets controlled by the imc. It takes approximately 20 years to get to the outlands but a few have managed to do it in a year like Bangalore and Blisk
