Just my opinion for what it’s worth but this further helps me understand why I’ve been so happy with the double kettlebell clean and press and just focusing and building my training around that one exercise. Hips, glutes, shoulders all in one (well, two) exercise(s).
Agree with the guy who said "wealth of knowledge". Interesting to hear these anthropological tidbits. I've got my chin ups back, and have half range pull ups, and I feel like a new man altogether. Proud of that pull, as I'm 105kg. It's an important movement. Next step is lose a bit of that weight.
when i only saw the title and didn't watch the video yet my guess was you were going to say the heart. since you can't move any muscle at all without one.
Regarding the heavy high rep squats - for a short time they had me feeling invincible but eventually they ruined me as well through injury and the weight gain. Now anytime I attempt to start regularly squatting again my body immediately will put back on 10-15lbs sometimes in as little as a month! Also about Mr. Bass, it's interesting was nearly vegetarian. His diet was incredibly simple subsisting mainly of fat free yogurt, milk, bread (plus other grains), vegetables, peanut butter and eggs. I think one of the reasons his approach was so successful was because of the lack of distractions in his diet. I believe his recommendation was 1g/kg, something alot of people would scoff at today.
This clip is a wealth of knowledge. The 4 knots of the body bit of Chinese wisdom is spot on. Thanks coach.
Well, thank you very much

Honestly, I’ve been to so many workshops that I think I’ve heard every single muscle in the body mentioned
Love your advice! This is my training for years..Deadlift, Press, Weighted Pullups.
Keep it up!!!
