Thank you! First time changing our transmission and engine oil on our new BCS - 749 and appreciate you explaining that the filter is for the transmission and that there is no engine oil filter on the majority of BCS models. New oil = happy tractor. Happy tractor = happy farmer.

I’m one who bought a 2nd hand machine and thought the filter was for the engine, thanks for your video…I have managed to save what could have been a expensive repair

I love your practical videos. So reassuring. Here in France the tractors are rare beasts despite the proximity of Italy. There is no dealership!

Fingers crossed I’ll be ordering my Grillo G110 in February 🤞. Such simple yet tough machines.

Thanks for the videos Joel, good tip about tilting the tractor to the sump side. Slightly concerned about the oil though, as BCS are very specific about the type to be used. Based on their recommendations I used an oil with EP 80-90 viscosity, API GL-5, SAE 80W90.
Anyhow without your videos I certainly wouldn’t be able to operate my machine as there are a couple of agents in the country, (Ireland), but no Dealers, the nearest being across the sea in England.
I must say that I like the Powersafe clutch.
Noticing your rotary mower attachment I was wondering how you find it compares to a flail mower in heavy growth grass? I find that my Bertha flail mower struggles in rough thick tallish grass here in rainy Ireland.
Finally, I well impressed that you have the confidence to attempt any maintenance whilst wearing light-coloured trousers! And, no video would be complete without your ‘trade-mark’ phone ringing in the background. Thanks again, Neil.

Edit, not sump side, meant outlet.

BCS put out a bulletin stating NOT to use the 80-90 oil for the Powersafe transmissions. The oil here is one of the ones they recommended in Service Bulletin 2-22

Yes, this confused me a lot too. The UK distributor still seems to be sticking to the 75W90 GL5 recommendation which I must confess I don't think is a good idea for a wet clutch system. I'm going to change to a tractor universal type as per the BCS Service bulletin 2-22 as mentioned here.
Edited to add that, having changed to a universal tractor transmission oil as per that bulletin I no longer see clutch slip when I stall the flail in thick vegetation but instead the engine stalls. With the original hypoid oil that the machine came with the engine would lug way down but keep running with the wheels stopped (I never let it do this for more than a second as I didn't want to cook the clutch)
