Wow.. first video and its exactly what I needed. My problem was the sc cable binding when turning the handles from being could on a bolt. Rather than check the problem I forced causing that tab to bend. Thank you for the time saving vid!

What about adjusting the cable at the handlebar ends if there is a few inches of slack?

Seems like you could solve the interlock issue by threading a compression spring onto the safety lever cable to create some "give" in the actuation. Then, you could press the safety lever down when the clutch lever was released but it would not actuate to the active position but simply compress the spring between the cable outer and its end stop and pre-tension the cable. When the clutch lever was pulled in the safety arm would be pulled over to the right side and the pre-tension in the cable could then rotate the safety arm anticlockwise to the armed position. This would stop people bending the linkage, allow them to actuate the levers in either order and still achieve the desired result - ie the system does not "arm" until both levers are pulled in.

I have just taken delivery of a 740 so I'm going to have a look at doing this modification along with reducing the strength of the "BullWorker" springs on the brake cable which seem way stronger than they need to be.
