    Hi guys and welcome back
So today I’m going to show you how to read the Room temperature from the PAC-YT52CRA built-in temperature sensor located here behind the cover.
if you lose to watch the movie-on problem, but don't lose the lesson
please see the lesson at the link bellow
    drive.google.com/file/d/1U3Fp...
If you are interested in knowing in which cases you should do it, just leave me a massage at the comment section. This procedure is intended for authorized Mitsubishi technicians.
If you get value from this video give it a thumb up and subscribe to the channel.
With that being said let’s get right into it.
So this is a ceiling concealed indoor unit, it reads the room temperature from the return air sensor located here.
If you have VRF indoor unit in order the READ the temperature from the remote controller(RC)
you need to set Dip switch SW1-1=ON
If you have Split type unit such as PEAD or SEZ in order the READ the temperature from the remote controller(RC), you need to use this Function Selection and I will explain it right here:
You need to change it from MODE 02 factory setting 1 which means: Read from the return air Sensor
To Setting No. 3 which means: Read the Temperature from the Built-in Sensor
    And it goes as follows:
Set the remote controller OFF, Press and hold Fan Speed + Temp down 2 seconds to Enter Function settings, wait till you see it blinking.
Press Temp up once, Press Fan speed once, Press Temp up once, press on the ON/OFF once, Press Temp up twice to see 02, Press ON/OFF once to move the cursor, Press Temp up twice to see 3, Press ON/OFF to save. Press and hold Fan Speed + Temp down 2 seconds to Exit. Wait 30 seconds before starting the air conditioning.
If you have comments just leave them bellow
    Help us make things better
Have a nice day and see you soon
    Best regards
    Itay Ran
    Bye bye

Is there a energy saving mode at PAC-YT52CRA?

Hello and thank you. I have a PEAD-SP100JA internal unit using a PAC-YT52CRA and I am also using an MAC-587IF-E WiFi controller with MELCloud. Do you know how to program the unit so that once the desired temperature is reached the fan unit will turn "off" completely versus the default low fan mode? Also, as per your video, when should the setting be set for room temperature versus the default?

Hi, Sorry for my late response:
As for your first question: According to the manufacturer there is a function No. 25 (MODE 25) - "Fan speed during the
heating thermostat is OFF". you can try MODE 25 setting 2 (setting 2 meaning is-fan speed STOP during thermostat is OFF during heating [It works on PEAD-RP units, I hope it will work on your PEAD-SP unit as well]).
[i.e. MODE 27 setting 2 is the same as 25 but for cooling].
      please see the movie th-cam.com/video/xTGc2HXPfEc/w-d-xo.html
How to change the External Static Pressure with the PAC-YT52CRA
      and download the attachement 0009A
      From page 5:
      at step 6-choose 25
at step 8-chage it to 2
      Do step 9
      and continue to step 11
We'd love it if you let us know how it went.
As for your second question-It is a bit more complex-I will try to make a movie about it in the future

@@todayhvac Thank you. I actually tried looking for both Mode 25 (Heat) and Mode 27 (Cool), as I wanted to set both to "Off". However, those modes are not available on the PEAD-SP and I can't find if there are different mode numbers for the unit. I guess I will keep trying. Thank you again for your response.

hi. sorry for my late response. i thing that the reason for the phenomenon you described is beacuse you have VRF system(P_FY indooe unit). for most of the VRF system, in order to READ the temperature from the remote controller you need to make it by indoor unit Dip switch SW1-1=ON. may i ask what is the model of the indoor unit?

      Model number is PVFY-P12NAMU-E.
I tried the dip switch one however it’s made the thermostat a “sub” instead of main.
Thank you so much for your help

the dip switch SW1 is located on the indoor unit PCB
