    Hi guys and welcome back
So today I'm going to teach you how to connect the Mitsubishi Electric Wi-Fi interface
Model MAC-567IF-E or MAC-587IF-E which I'm holding here in my hands in the quickest way I know of.
    In 3 simple steps.
Before you start this proses, make sure you have read the safety instruction that provide with it. These instructions are appointed to authorized technicians.
So actually who is this Video for? If you are experience air conditioning installer, and you already installed few of those MAC-567IF-E or MAC-587IF-E - you can skip to the end to see the gift I prepared for you.
you can down load the file here:
MAC-567,587IF-E list of connectable indoor units
    drive.google.com/file/d/1gV4l...
If you are an air condition installer and it is your first time-or you have many years of experience but you are uncomfortable with hi-tech things/stuff, then this movie is appointed for you.
So, with that being said, let's get right into it.
The connecting can be done by 3 basic simple steps that you need to go through.
Pay attention-In case you need to connect more than one interface in the same project, I recommend you for each interface to go through step number 2 before starting the next one.
    Step No. 1
First-you must turn off the breaker of the indoor unit, then you have to connect this RED connector of the MAC-567IF-E or MAC-587IF-E to indoor unit PCB CN105 connector. (if you don’t know where the CN105 is, please leave me a massage at the comments section).
    Please pay attention
A-the interface CN105 connectors were added gradually to the indoor units since 2007, so there is a probability -especially for older system-that some of the indoor units will not equipped with it.
    And
B-don’t worry, we have prepared for you a PDF file with some of the old units that has this connector.
You can download it from the subscription.
    Step No. 2
In this step we'll connect our wi-fi interface MAC-567IF-E or MAC-587IF-E to our home router without using the WPS button.
Please take a pen in your hands and press on the MODE button (i.e. fill a little click when you are pressing the button) seven seconds continuously  wait approximately 60 seconds and you will see that the UNIT and the MODE LED's are flashing every five seconds.
Then take your smartphone in your hands and go into your wi-fi connections screen on your smartphone
And look for the network that started with the letters ME-#####, get into it and you will ask to put a Password, the Password is written under the KEY: ######.
Maybe you will get a question "are you sure you want to get into this network?" please click "Yes"
Then take a scanning App and scan this barcode on the back side of the wi-fi interface MAC-567IF-E or MAC-587IF-E in order to get to you wi-fi configuration screen, if it doesn’t happen you have another way: just open your web browser and type 192.168.11.1 and you will get to the same Wi-Fi configuration screen.
In this wi-fi configuration screen you type: you SSID which is you home network name and you PASSWORD
Roll down to the end of the screen and press the SUBMIT button.
You have to be a little patient and wait approximately one minute then you will see that the
UNIT & NET Led's are flashing every five seconds. If it doesn’t happen-maybe you did something wrong, you have to start Step No. 2 all over again.
You take a pen in your hands and press the RESET button 14 seconds contenuaslly in order to see that the Green UNIT LED is flashing again, then start Step No. 2 all over again.
    Step No. 3
You have to download the MELcloud App and follows its instructions.
    Help us make things better
    Best regards
    Itay Ran

HI, thank you for this! We have the PLA-SM.EA indoor unit and the MAC-567IF-E WiFi module. Unfortunately I don't see a CN105. We do have a CN41 connector that would physically fit and is labelled 'HA TERMINAL-A'. Might this be compatible? Thanks!

I would need MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC MAC-587IF-E Wi-Fi but some people told me we can only buy the small red stuff connector with 5 wire and only put 4 wire in it but I do not know where to buy it and what is exactly the reference or name of this stuff.

    • @todayhvac
      @todayhvac  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

The differences between them are minor. The MAC-587IF-E is a newer model But their function is the same. The height and width of the 587 are smaller by a few millimeters, their visibility is a little different And their country of manufacture is different . both of them will fit to the MLZ-KP35VF, The 567 may no longer be available because its production may have been discontinued
