    Hi guys and welcome back
So today I'm going to introduce you to the PAC-YT52CRA simple MA remote controller Behind me.
If you get value from this video give it a thumb up and subscribe to the channel.
So first I will explain you what is the meaning of MA remote controller:
    -don’t have address
-don’t connect to indoor-outdoor transmission line
-it will only operate the Indoor Unit (IU) which is connected DIRECTLY to
Here I prepare a chart for you for all the possible connections of this remote controller to Mitsubishi Electric indoor units.
For Split type indoor units, P & S series you connect this PAC-YT52CRA remote controller directly to their TB5 Terminal Block.
For M-wall mounted series they don’t have terminal block for this connection, you connect this PAC-YT52CRA remote controller Via MAC-333IF-E / MAC-334IF-E , MAC-397IF-E / MAC-497IF-E interface.
And for VRF indoor units-all of them have Terminal Block TB15.
You connect this PAC-YT52CRA remote controller directly to the indoor units TB15.
Here I made an example for you, this is an MA remote controller, you see that it is connected directly to this indoor unit.
You can also take an MA remote controller and connect it to few indoor units and it will operate them as a group. And you can also take two MA controllers when you connect this kind of connection:
One of the MA controllers you remain it as a MAIN and the other you need to change it to SUB remote controller, I will explain it later.
So, what we can do with this PAC-YT52CRA MA remote controller?
We can ON/OFF the indoor unit.
We can change the FAN speed.
We can change the VANE (the VANE is only for wall indoor mounted units).
We can change the temperature. We can also give temperature range restrictions.
We can change the operation MODE from: COOL-DRY-FAN-AUTO-HEAT-LOSSNAY (Lossnay is an AIR to AIR heat Exchanger).
On the back side of this MA remote controller, we have 4 Dip Switch’s
Here are the functions of the Dip Switch’s:
Dip Switch No. 1-is to choose between MAIN/SUB remote controller
Dip Switch No. 2-it’s the display of the temperature in Celsius/Fahrenheit
Dip Switch No. 3-is the display of Cooling/Heating in AUTO MODE.
Dip switch No. 4-is the display of the indoor unit Temperature/Temperature from build in Remote Controller sensor.
Last but not least, for each of these blue functions I will make a separate movie
Have a nice day and see you soon.
    Bye-bye
    Help us make things better
    Best regards
    Itay Ran

So I have 6 units could i connect one remote to 6 so all of them have their own remote so I can go without adding as a group? We are installing them in a hotel, So we are trying to figure out if they can be separate or if they have to be controlled as a group

basically their are two ways: 1. you can connect one remote controller to all of your 6 indoor units-in that case it will operate them as a group(The controller will give the same setting to all of the indoor units, the maximum allowable indoor units that you can operate as a group are 16). 2. you can connect one remote controller for one indoor unit And each unit will operate according to the definition of its specific controller. if you want, you can email me a diagram to itay@todayhvac.com of what you want to do with the exact name of the indoor and outdoor units and I will give you an opinion

Thanks for your useful informations. I have a questioni: can I add a infrared remote controller to the PAC-YT52CRA and lets work together (if yes , which model?)

Hi Luigi, Actually the answer is yes. you can add one Singnal Receiving Unit in addition to the PAC-YT52CRA. the signal receving unit depends on the type of indoor unit: if you have VRF indoor unit-you can connect Signal Receiving Unit PAR-FA32MA(Set the signal receiving unit to “Sub”) to the same TB15 of the indoor unit. you will need also the Wireless Remote Controller PAR-FL32MA to transmit the signal(i.e. Model setting must be made to the wireless remote controller in order to control indoor units, you can find it at the installation manual WT04762X01). However, if you have Split Type indoor unit such has SEZ-KD or PEAD-JAL, it is recomanded to connect the Signal Receiving Unit PAR-SA9CA-E to the CN90(you don't need to change it to "Sub") with the same Wireless Remote Controller PAR-FL32MA. The answer is correct for indoor units of the last 15 years, if the indoor unit is older, please send me its model and I will try to check or consult with your local distributor.

hi, i hope i"m understand your question: There are switches on the back of the top case, SW No. 4 is about the Indoor temperature display on the Remote controller. Set it to OFF (OFF means that you don't want to display the indoor temperature on the remote controller)

    • @itayran981
      @itayran981 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

you can set the thermostat to auto by Pressing the MODE button located at the at the bottom left(with the six icons on it).
will change the operation mode in the following order: COOL->DRYING->FAN->AUTO->HEAT->VENTI.
Note: Not all functions are available on all models of indoor units. Functions that are not available will not appear on the display.

Hello I have a controlar with error H0 how i resolve this problem

    • @todayhvac
      @todayhvac  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

This is usually can be due to a communication problem. it can be when the indoor unit is not recognize by the outdoor unit, if you are a Certified technician you can try to solve this by RESET the outdoor unit(Disconnect the voltage to the outdoor unit and turn it on again)

Check that there is 30VDC at the indoor unit TB5 (M1,M2,S) between M1 and M2
