I remember the time when my mom got mad at me and how greatly disappointed she was because I dropped to top 7 from being top 2 in my class in a quarter... it left a big impact on me, I was heartbroken and 7 years after that I never gained back the motivation I initially had in my studies because whatever I do, even with just the slightest mistakes I make, they are so quick to call me a disappointment and treat me as worthless, well that's how they make me feel

Simula bata palang ang goal ko na ay maging Doktor. Hanggang sa naghangad na maging Psychologist or Psychiatrist. Then life happened, my dad passed away when I was 15 years old. My mom can't work because of physical conditions. I thought I will not be able to reach my goal. But then, kinaya. Nakpag tapos ng college at scholar. And receiving allowances/grants. Pero lahat napunta sa pamilya. Ngayon na nakagraduate gusto ko naman magreview at makapag take ng board exam. Pero dahil may kapatid ako na mag eengineering, I need to work, and set aside my dream first. While most of my friends and batchmates are preparing for board exam, here I am working right away after college without any break,sometimes I get drained by the adjustments "kasi night shift", dagdagan pa ng comments ng ibang tao and worse sarili kamag anak "bat night shift" " college graduate ganyan kinuha" yet feels rewarding seeing my family secured, and their needs being provided. Night shift kasi eto yung magsusustain ng needs ng pamilya ko. Despite the set aside dreams, Di ako sayang. Nauna lang sila, pero I will get there. Perfect time ni Lord. 😊

I have all emotions today that I know I needed space for myself. I lay in my bed with the blanket around me for an hour or so.
