I liked this girl for quite a while now. She's pretty, the most amazing girl out there. We were both writers, I wrote her stories, and she wrote me poems. And I impulsively confessed to her, I told her I liked her with lines from this song. In a stroke of luck, she told me that she liked me back. But even though she liked me back, it wasn't an invitation to further develop our relationship. Because we knew, that her tita wouldn't approve, and we were still young. So we both agreed that we would wait until we were both ready, and she has permission to be in a relationship.
We talked often, often sharing our everyday lives, enjoying the little things in life. We would write handwritten letters to eachother, and leave them at a spot no one but the two of us knows.
And everyday that we talked, the more we fell in love with each other, and the more letters we wrote. The more poems had been made.
That is until, Her tita discovered what we've been doing and intercepted one of my stories and one of her poems. They both wrote us letters in the works we made.
Shortly after that, she fought with her tita. And she ran away. Worried I looked all over for her. And I found her in our secret place. The place where we go if ever we feel sad. She was bundled up and bawling her eyes out.
I tapped her on the shoulder and calmed her down. And then carried her back home.
Tita was worried that she ran away, and blamed it on me. She told me I was impulsive, and a bad influence to her Pamangkin. So she banned me from seeing her again.
Its been three years, we haven't talked to eachother since then. I told her I'll wait for her. How is she? I wonder.
If you ever find this, I hope you're doing fine. I'm doing fine, no need to worry about me. And remember our promise. I'm still waiting, and I always will be. For the day we meet once again.
Thank you. I'm still holding on to the memories we've made. I'm hoping we can make more in the future.

I confess to my crush last December 20, 2019. This song helped me to express what I really feel. He's my classmate, minsan sabay kami mag lunch pero kasama namin yung mga friends namin. I always catch him looking at me before I even confess to him. Akala ko may meaning, ako lang pala yung nag assume. After I tell him about my feelings we don't hangout anymore and we don't really talk or smile to each other coz it's really awkward. Few weeks after he smiled at me. It happened haha. I'm happy for him since he got high grades than mine. He thanked me naman so that'll be enough for me. I just wanna say thank u for being part of my shs days! Actually umamin ako sa ex-bestfriend ko two years ago. Being rejected isn't the thing we're afraid of about confessing. Its a matter of losing that friendship and everything you have after saying what you really feel towards that person.
Funny how I ended up watching/listening to this as I just confessed to my crush, thinking that I finally had the chance since things were looking up but- as expected, he only sees me and likes me as a best friend. Surprisingly enough we were both able to have a mature conversation, me explaining my side and with him saying his. Soon we both concluded that we were better off as best friends. To be frank, I was scared that maybe our friendship had been ruined by me liking him, with that, I asked him if me liking him had ruined or made our friendship awkward, or if he felt uncomfy before.
To my surprise he said no and I felt relieved. Although somewhat heartbroken cause yeah I got rejected again, but it feels as if like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders and I feel more easy and relaxed now that I've got the closure I deserved and I can finally start to move on.

I've been in love with my close friend for seven years. Senior high school kami non when I first met him. He's a cutie chinito, matalino, and may humor. He's a 10 kumbaga. Minsan nagsasabay kami kumain tuwing lunch o sumali sa mga event sa school. Our friendship became stronger. He helped me reach my potentials as well. I'm always available whenever he needs help. Before graduation, I confessed my feelings to him. He's okay with it naman. His response was so bland for it is full of uncertainty.

Fast forward, graduating na siya ng college habang ako nag-drop dahil sa pandemic. Nagkita kami ulit dito sa Manila. Kumain sa labas, nagpalitan ng tawanan, naglakad sa Intramuros. I thought nakalimutan ko na siya but he's still the guy that I fell in love when we were still in High School.
Nag-inuman kami sa Escolta. I confessed again for the nth time and the response is... Ta-da... Friends. Madalas pa rin kaming magkita. Mas naging close kami sa totoo lang.

Then college, pareho kami ng university at pareho ng department. Inspired ako pumasok kasi magkatabi lang room namin at nakikita ko sya almost hourly. Nagkamustahan sa shs friends gc, tinanong sya kung may jowa sya ngayon, he said wala, busy daw sya. Which is true kasi internship na namin that time.
Di ko alam kung bored lang ba ako, pero that day biglang nagflashback sakin yung feelings ko para sa kanya. Tapos he's sending tiktoks nya pa sa gc like why naman affected ako??! When normally i would cringe sa tiktok trends unless kpop idols gumagawa. Tapos ayun, nagback read ako sa convo namin and I realized kung gaano sya ka-caring. One time nung nalaman nya na sobrang down ako, he sent a long inspirational message. Lahat ng memories at reason kung bakit ko sya nagustuhan nung senior high kami, biglang bumalik. And the tiny crush i had for him when we were 17 grew bigger, deeper, and reasonable now that we are 22 to the point na I'm imagining cute scenarios now.
But the thing is, hindi ko masabi sa kanya. Almost 2 months ko na ulit syang crush at di pa kami nagkikita ulit since December. Nakakapag-usap kami sa chat pero hindi naman deep convos. So i really don't know kung aamin ako before graduation this June or hahayaan ko na lang ulit just like before.

I just wanna share my story about my feelings for my best friend. Para sakin mas masakit na makita syang may kasamang iba kesa mawala sya bilang best friend ko. So inamin ko. Mahirap magtago ng feelings masaket. Aminin nyo na hanggat maaga pa kung hindi talaga kayo edi hindi, eh pero paano kung kayo talaga? Torpe ka lang? Mas pinili mo lang na maging kaibigan habang nakikita syang napupunta sa iba? Minsan kailangan din nating maging matapang haha.
Btw, 6 years na kami happily married.

so i liked this guy, he's my classmate, and during our first week of class i was just teasing him to my bestfriend and keep asking him if he likes my friend. After that we became close and started talking to each other everyday, i never thought that i would fall for him, but it happened.
