This is probably the best (so far) Philippine food vlog made by a foreigner. It is so immersive and tried some foods that many foreign vloggers have failed to show. It's a mix of what's popular and must-try and also some not so well known but equally great food to try. The puto-bumbong in the end is a perfect ending to this episode.

This is why Mike is my favorite travelling food blogger, just when he ate the kare-kare he instinctively put the shrimp paste with it. Because that's really how we eat it. If it would be a different person they'd be gagging from the smell of the shrimp paste.

This is so good! Just walking around and going for whatever piques your interest is probably the best way to actually experience Filipino food. Also, the fact that you don't have some sort of entourage whenever you go out to eat is the best part. No outside influences where people bring you places they want to promote, just hunger and curiosity.

It's been 4-5 years since you've been back in the Philippines? Dude! It felt like... a couple years. 😳😅

Miss you and your vlog Mikey, this is my first time watching a video of yours since the pandemic, this popped into my wall, YT recommends it.
I don’t eat a lot of the foods you have in this video but I appreciate your positive comments about the foods in the Philippines 🇵🇭. Positive vibes!

Best way to explore food just by roaming around the metro and see a lot of food choices..
That is how you know you are in the Philippines, food everywhere and vinegar plus pork
