28:20 When Mike looks into the camera and says, "Granny, if you're watching, this is amazing!" there actually IS a Granny standing behind him looking into his camera! Love it!!
@@MikePaton-Williams-yv9qo I guess if you live there it's a different story. When i go back to visit relatives and family it's all fun for me haha, but yeah can't deny how small it is but it's so good cause it's so close to other countries. I find a lot of my friends and fam go to Thailand/Malaysia etc for quick getaways
Please ignore the ignorant comment below. Dictatorship?! I'm a Singaporean. NO there is no dictatorship in Singapore. We actually vote and sometimes the ruling party almost lost. Lol. I'm a Singaporean. Welcome to Singapore. You will love it here.
You went to every amazing stall I got food from at Newton in my first trip to Singapore in March, and I am taking a Hawker Center tour when I return in September and will use this as a guide. Thanks!
Aussie here - found this video - and many thanks, as I'll be in Singapore pre / post a cruise in late Nov 2024 - will be definitely hunting out some of these hawker centres (now that I know where some of these are - didn't have anything like this video on previous trips there). Def will be looking for the egg / coconut tarts :)
Love this top 50 best of Singapore. This format of adding all the visits to the different hawker centers in Singapore is better. I like this compilation format better than having many 20 min vlogs. And the foods look amazing 🤤! Do you think you could do this with all of your vlogs?
As a Singapore local Newton Hawker is not cheap and neither are most of the stall the best or great. It is more of a tourist trap. For hawker food some of the more underrated one are 1) Golden Mile 2) Bukit Merah View 3) Most hawkers in Toa Payoh
I’m having a fever and being so depressed and homesick rn 😭 you’re so accurate in describing all of these dishes, makes me wanna drop everything and fly back
Yo, my man went to Hong LIm Food Market and didn't eat Ji Ji Wanton Mee or the corner Teochew Minced Pork Noodles? Dude is missing out... Haha Needless to say I'm only starting the video and probably will go around to some of the other places and give them a go too!
I absolutely love all your videos and I have followed and watched so many of them but I do have to say the background music halfway through most of the videos lately I fight to keep my eyes open to watch the video and then I have to just pause it I'm going to sleep for like 2 hours your videos are great but the background music is killing me but it just makes me need to fall asleep
newton food hawker centre is a tourist trap. u can find better food in Singapore for lesser! also the place with good beef noodles is red signboard at the end of the line if in newton
You got eating right by looking for the reasonably-priced food; it is Singaporean style! 🎉 Nobody staying here and in their right minds eat at the stalls that target tourists everyday. 😂
All I saw were Chinese, Malay and Indian food. Mike needs to include Peranakan cuisine, which is an important part of Singapore food culture too. Peranakan cuisine is a blend of Chinese ingredients with various distinct spices and cooking techniques used by the Malay/Indonesian community.

Let me guess. Did he say " This is, OH-MAZING!" ?
Yes 😂 coincidence I think not 😂😂😂
Did he say where Granny’s Pancake stall was?
Never thought I could sit through a 2 hour video in 1 sitting but I did for this video!
Congratulations
Oh man! What an epic list of great eats - you're practically a local now!
Not me eating basic processed packaged ramen watching and wishing I had everything on screen
Time to pack your bags for Singapore big bro
And I thought it was just me doing that…
Better than the Toaster Strudels I was eating 😂
Same and added some ranch seasoning with turkey meats
😂😅
Going here in a month. Wish me luck
Singapore is definitely on my bucket list to visit. Beautiful country!
Worked there. Strange place. Green dictatorship. A lot of people go out to neighbouring countries because they find Singapore claustrophobic🤔

(#1) Mikey this is a cool video!!!
Sitting down with my rice bowl and watching a whole 2 hour video! Score! 😊
Would like to see your top 50 list for Seoul & Tokyo since you go there so often
Hong Lim has become my favorite Hawker Center. For really cheap breakfast, Granny’s Pancake with peanut butter is hard to beat.
"Airtato"! Nice.
Mikey looks so happy I’m his olds videos I hope he is doing okay
مدينة ريعه 😊❤ وجميله
I can't take it anymore. That charcoal barbecue chicken wings 🤤🤤🤤
Hey Mike, if you’re here again, you should totally try Satay Bee Hoon. Especially the one near Sungei Laksa. The shops name is 大连
Finally early

Clayfish Ipoh Hor Fun in Hong Lim Complex is the best
Are there any food places open from dawn to morning? I’ll have an 8hr layover at SG from 1AM-7AM 😂😂
Good food
The texture of the Granny Pancake's look similar to crumpets. Looks amazing!
A 2 hour video.. for me? well, it is my birthday! thank you. Always love the content.
American Jackie Chan of munching 😂😂😂. Looks like Jackie is hungry at all times

I’m having a fever and being so depressed and homesick rn 😭 you’re so accurate in describing all of these dishes, makes me wanna drop everything and fly back
Mike welcomed to Blk 85, Bedok North my neighbourhood. 😋
love fish dumplings too, the soup pork noodles is also the best soup pork noodle place imo and the peanut soup place is my favorite ah balling stall
Yo, my man went to Hong LIm Food Market and didn't eat Ji Ji Wanton Mee or the corner Teochew Minced Pork Noodles? Dude is missing out... Haha
Needless to say I'm only starting the video and probably will go around to some of the other places and give them a go too!
I like their duck noodles too
I first saw that toast and coffee place thanks to Dooby.
Hey Mike, come to Bangladesh.
We have a lots of interesting food you'll love
Intro reminded me of parts unknown with Anthony Bourdain
Where is Granny’s Pancakes that you show on here, located?
The longer videos are the best🌻👌
I absolutely love all your videos and I have followed and watched so many of them but I do have to say the background music halfway through most of the videos lately I fight to keep my eyes open to watch the video and then I have to just pause it I'm going to sleep for like 2 hours your videos are great but the background music is killing me but it just makes me need to fall asleep
Are all these places still open?
Similar food are available all over the city . If it is no good , I don't think they can survive .
newton food hawker centre is a tourist trap. u can find better food in Singapore for lesser! also the place with good beef noodles is red signboard at the end of the line if in newton
You can tell his older clips to his newer clips by which utensil he used to eat rice with. 😂😂😂
When mike said “granny, if you’re watching” while a granny watches from the background at 28:20
Hopefully Singapore will evolve in such a way and start providing paper tissues as well, when ordering food around the country 😀
Every Singaporean carries their own tissues... You should evolve to buy your tissues yourself
Loving these Bourdain-style intros!
You got eating right by looking for the reasonably-priced food; it is Singaporean style! 🎉
Nobody staying here and in their right minds eat at the stalls that target tourists everyday. 😂
Are these prices correct or is it compiling videos from years and years ago? I feel like I've seen a lot of these clips
I need to come back for the food 😮
I still think about the satay in Lau Pa Sat
This video will make you hungry 🤤
u should do an episode in china
All I saw were Chinese, Malay and Indian food. Mike needs to include Peranakan cuisine, which is an important part of Singapore food culture too. Peranakan cuisine is a blend of Chinese ingredients with various distinct spices and cooking techniques used by the Malay/Indonesian community.
Well he is reviewing hawker food..hardly see any peranakan cuisine at the hawker scene
@@fitfam2410 Well that may be the heading for this video, but if you had watched the whole video, you'd see that he wasn't always at hawker centres.
Please do try SOUTH INDIAN Cuisine in the US and Bangkok including Singapore.. CHETTINAD Cuisine...
Woah! 120 mins! Thank you for your hard work, Mikey!😊
are there any non spicy foods?
I’m a simple man, My boy Mikey drops a 2 hour video I watch all of it 🙏🏾
Please show us the price of the food you ordered, so that customers will know how much to place the order, thanks!
