To be honest, Harkinian is actually a great leader. In Faces of Evil, upon hearing of Ganon seizing Koridai, he immediately asks what they can do to help, and here, he goes to Gamelon himself to aid Duke Onkled, instead of sending someone else. He also has a good and friendly sense of humour and, is in general, a nice person.
I love how it just IMMEDIATELY starts with a line of dialogue. No, establishing shot, no sort of introduction, not even one second of music or anything. Just right away "ZELDA!" Beautiful.
It's like they were writing the ending and suddenly they were just like "SHIT WE FORGET ABOUT LINK!" and they just found a way to shoehorn him in and called it a day.
Apparently clapping is extremely expensive considering how much Istanbul Clappers cost, and they're still "Can't Believe it's Not Hands" level of believability
5:08 i always found this scene funny, now i realize his eyes pop out because he searched in the wrong pocket and thought that he lost the lamp, only to instantly search for it on the other pocket making a relief expresion when he feels it
I've noticed that, despite the general animation quality of these games, there are actually some pretty good details like that in the cutscenes. Like when Link gets the Power Glove in Faces of Evil and his bicep gets swole as he puts on the glove. Or how Ganon's eyes blink rapidly when Zelda shines a light in his face in this game.
*Ganon gasps like he's getting an orgasm* The Chains, no! *magic chains wrap around him* You haven't seen the last of me! *A book comes out of nowhere and vigorously sucks him in*
I honestly think the King deserves a lot of credit. He decides to risk his life and go into battle himself whereas a lot of other monarchs would instead send their best soldiers. Also, he was nearly killed because of Duke Onkled's treachery and he simply makes Onkled scrub floors as punishment. Talk about a light sentence.
This version of Zelda is actually really badass and has a lot of personality. She's adventurous, fearless, cares about saving people, but shows no mercy to her enemies.

@@Aura_X_000 Idk either, you replied to an old comment, lol. I guess I must have read some wiki stub searching for Morshu's actor's identity, and some random guy just said that the wizrobe is voiced by the same actor as Morshu, without any sources to back that up. You see, there were only a few male actors in the game, four to be exact. Link's actor was the only one credited as voicing the aforementioned character, the other three remained up for guessing as to who voiced who. Thing is, one of them voiced a wizard character in an unrelated game, and he sounded a lot like Gwonam. The fans also noticed that Gwonam, Ipo (the reader) and the Sakado baker guy probably share the same actor. Turns out he also played Duke Onkled, "Uhsrom" the shopkeep, and the Sakado Mayor, probably also Hektan and Harlequin too. Another male actor, after a bit of digging, turned out to be a black man, which explains why some people think that King Harkinian and Ganon sound black. This actor admitted to playing Ganon in a game, so it's probably him. This leaves us with Morshu, who also probably voiced Militron and the Iron Knuckle. To this day we couldn't find him, and his identity is a mistery. As you can see, who voiced who in this game is kind of a mistery for the fanbase, and if anybody(like me from 3 years ago) tells you that x voiced y character, it's largely based on rumors and guesswork.
That guy Onfack took the form of a wolf, has lightning powers, a lion's face that breaths fire, and giant lips all just to eat a bird. That's pretty fuckin' neato.
I just realized something: The Wizzrobe CLEARLY has his hands up when Zelda disintegrates him. Gibdo cringes in terror and seems to BOW when the shroud is thrown over him. The three witches hug each other and cower away, terrified, before they're consumed by their own spell. Did Zelda kill enemies who were SURRENDERING? The only ones who show any aggression are Iron Knuckle, Hectan, Ganon, and the shapeshifter guy.
Some of these cutscenes are actually super good like the guy falling down and melting into goop and iron knuckle breaking apart and link getting hype about bombing dodongos, and then there’s stuff like the end Also: “Stop looking at yourself.” *throws and completely shatters someone else’s mirror*
