Nintendo taking this down would imply ownership of the CD-i games. They would never stoop so low as to recognize these games.
They wouldn't dare.
They actually do recognise that they had the Link CDI game because an info box in Smash Bros Ultimate talks about the amount of Zelda games that have Link's name in the title. It says that one might be harder to name than the rest, implying this game.
HOL457 Or Link’s Crossbow Training. Whether intentional or not, the ambiguity makes it funnier.
Plot twist, Nintendo begins to work on remaking them as classic style games in the vein of A Link to the Past, A Link Between Worlds, Ancient Stone Tablets, Link's Awakening, The Minish Cap, Oracle of Ages, Oracle of Seasons, the original game, and Third Quest.
They can't advertise that BOTW2 is the first game with Playable Zelda because of this game LOL

How is it that I've not heard of this until now?! I worked for Philips back in the day. I even beta tested this game, and then reviewed it for their in-house magazine, CD-i World. Anyway, I LOVE these animations. So many talented artists here! I am amazed. Now I'm going to restart it and watch it all a second time. :)

The thing is, this collab is almost exactly how the animations were made in the first place; many random artists who joined on, did one animation, then that was it for them.
I also love how the animations have 3 types:
-1: Make the clips, just with effort.
-2: Make a youtube poop.
-3: "Wait, this is being uploaded to youtube?"

What a great community project. It's good to see people cooperate towards a common goal.
Looking at a lot of these scenes side-by-side makes me realize how good a lot of these character designs really are, they’re just stuck on the CDI with a crappy inconsistent art style and animated at 12 fps. King Harkinian, Gwonam, Morshu, Lady Alma, Mayor Cravendish, Lord Kiro and a lot of the others look really good when animated more smoothly and with much less pixelated linework.
I was worried this was just going to try and make things "better" but I see you guys are working hard to preserve the absolute batshit insanity and memeability that encapsulates this game. 👍👍👍
I mean, the re-animated bits do generally look better anyhow.

@@thibautisserant In the original Legend of Zelda and Zelda II, the best sword was the Magic Sword. In A Link to the Past, the Master Sword is designed to look like this sword in the earlier titles. In this cutscene, the fisherman states that the sword is a Magic Sword, meaning it's the sword from the original titles, not the Master Sword.
