- Collecting razor fish / clams off the beach after a storm - thousands washed ashore after a storm.
In the aftermath of storm Arwen I went for a low tide walk along the beach at Pensarn, near Gwrych Castle where "I'm a Celebrity Get me out of Here" was being filmed at the same time.
I was expecting to see some interesting flotsam and jetsam, but not a shellfish kill on this scale...

Yeah, I'm sure it would have been good, unless the fish had over-eaten on all the food!
@@anglersbureau Small ones maybe bu the bigger predators would have been coming in too. Can't wait for the next bout of Northerly Winds but it doesn't look like it's coming very soon.

They were all dislodged by the waves caused by storm Arwen. The shellfish were all along the beach, though more concentrated in certain areas. The preceding storm was worse, but the winds of Arwen, being more northerly (onshore), had a greater impact.

Very much so. No storm for a while so hopefully things are recovering.
