    Hello, I was wondering cause Im so new to all this. Can a regular material like a pillow case slip be embroidered with a punch needle with embroidery floss/thread? Instead of a hand held embroidery sewing needle? Thank you!!

    • @mamahoela
      @mamahoela  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi, a pillowcase is usually a bit too thin. Also, you would want to wash the pillowcase, which is difficult with punch needle. So overall I wouldn't recommend it.

    Do you think punch needle would work on plastic canvas (vinyl aida cloth)?

    • @mamahoela
      @mamahoela  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hmmm I don't think it would, you need a relatives tight weave. But it's worth a try!

      @@mamahoela You're probably right. I scoured the internet for examples and didn't find a single one. I'll have to see if they make high count (smaller holes) plastic canvas and maybe try it. Thanks!

    I bought linen specifically for embroidery punch needling and it’s not working..🥲
    It’s like the holes are just large enough for the looops to be super loose but the other fabrics are too tight😂🤦🏻‍♀️
