I’ve done a few projects with punch needle some 30 yers back. But we were using the loopy side as a front side then. It creates a carpet like surface. It takes a lot of yarn to create those loops and than to just tack it behind, no?
The loopy side worked great for decorative pillow covers among other things.
Yep, the loops are the whole point.
Yeah ive been confused as many videos dont show the fluffy side at all. It seemed odd to waste the fluffy side. Most rugs are fluffy like.
@@MrsBrit1yeah if you wanted the other effect you could just stitch embroidery loops on the front. Would use a lot less yarn
Lovely punch needle work and classy, mellow music. Perfection.
I’m new here and will be sure to look through your videos to find how to make the canvas. A beautiful finished piece.
Beautiful work! You have inspired me. Thanks!
This is lovely! Thanks for sharing.
WOW!! that is beautiful!

Really love this video, such a pretty piece.
Thank you so much 😊❤️
So relaxing.
I like the back side after it’s been trimmed. It looks more 3-dimensional.
Beautiful!!!
Dear Leandra, I am so happy for seeing your tapestry. Thanks a lot.❤

Beautiful work❤
Masterpiece
I have my grannies needles like this and had no idea what they were for! Thank you❤
❤
Just make sure you turn it over. The loops are the point.
@@MrsBrit1yes actually took me many videos to understand this as a lot of videos didnt ever show the shaggy side and i was like why would i waste so much yarn to make the back side? Cos you can make that same with just sewing if you wanted it flat?
Inspired! Beautiful video! Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it! 🌸
JUSTE MAGNIFIQUE VRAIMENT BRAVO
A beauty! Two questions:
1) is there a way to make a knot at the tip of the thread on the back of the art? It seems it might come to the front side if there's no ending blocking.
2) how do you wash it when it's dusty or dirty?
Thank you!
Beautiful!😊
Thank you so much for showing how you cut and hide your thread, cause I only see it from front side, but i prefer more back side)
Beautiful ❤
It is beautiful
Wow great job 👏🏼💚
Thank you ❤️
Hermoso trabajo
beautiful!
Ficou lindo. Parabéns !
Obrigada ✨🧡
Beautiful 😻
I think this piece is absolutely gorgeous !
I love your choice of colours.
I love the patterning with the soft wavy lines and the different stitches that you used !
Where can I get this pattern ?
I would LOVE to make it !
I'm also wondering if you can explain how you copied the pattern onto your fabric ?
Keep the video's coming, as you most definitely have a gift !
I don't have a pattern for this design but I'm planning to make then soon, I use a fabric pen to draw the design onto the fabric. The tools I use are in the description box, I'm glad you liked the video 🌿 😊
Awesome🤩
Merci
Your work is beautiful!
Thank you so much! 🌸
Szia! Köszönöm válaszod előre is. Üdv. Gabriella😊
It's beautiful. ❤ Thanks for sharing 🙏 🙂
thank you for watching! 🧡
BRAVO !!
Hello! Ur work are just AMAZING and inspiring! Did you glue all the behind work ? Or did you let this like that after u cut all the extra ? Thanks for the answer! ♥
Where did you buy your fabric for punch needling? Thanks for sharing
I am looking to find out what tools theses are, type of canvases I am looking at a Santa pattern to make a very large wall tapestry like this. Any advice or help is appreciated.
Your work is absolutely beautiful. However, I am a bit confused. Other punch videos show the way you do it is the back of the design, and the puffy other side should be the front. Can it be either way? The other videos I've seen show working from the backside. I like the look of yours, though I'm new to punch rugging, and wondered if it was just done as one prefers?
Beautiful
I just bought a punch needle kit where I punch needle a woman's face on a tote bag. I cannot wait to get started.
Ewwa~ I LOVE THIS!!!!!
Which brand of yarn did you use? Which size punch needle?

how is your canvas not loosening up during the course of the project?
What kind of material do you use? Is it cotton?
Buongiorno signora@Complimenti!
Excelente trabajo!
gracias! 🌸
Lovely
Amazing pattern.. I love this color too..😍 I have Little clarification.. Need any knot at the starting of the punch ..? You are trimming the excess thread at the end., So will it come out when we pull the end.. ? Please clarify
hi! you don't need to make any knots, the fabric holds everything together 🌿
Love this 🤎🤎
Knowing me, I'd end up stabbing myself in the thigh.....loved the white on white patterning idea.
hi - what ply is this yarn?
Thank you
Qué tela utilizas?
I’m new to this. They said can only do punch needle on monk/poke or aida cloth. Was it difficult to do it on canvas?
pretty sure it is actually monk’s cloth, and the artist is referring to the general term “canvas” like we’d say “surface” or the like in American English.
Wonderful ❤🎉
Thanks you 🧡🧡🧡
Que tipo de estambre utiliza ?
This looks so simple, I am trying it but it is opening
Lindo bordado
Qual o nome do tecido para o bordado ?
Is this needle work on painting canvas
Ohh something i havent tried. Going shopping for a punch needle. Is that just canvas or broadcloth for backing?
Hi! I use monks cloth for my punch needle work 🌸
@@leandralavanda thankyou for responding. I happen to have a few yards of that. I found some hoops today at a 2nd hand store. Can't wait to start. Again Thankyou much.
Wow beautiful how long did it take?
thank you!! it took me a few hours!
I like it👏🏻👏🏻☺️what kind fabric do you use it ?
thank you! I use monks cloth!
Is it possible to do punch needling with a painting canvas?
New Subscriber. Beautiful work!
Thank you! 😊🧡🌸
It’s beautiful! What yarn did you use?
Hi, I use lion brand yarn “wool ease” and “hometown” 🌸🌸🌸🌸
HELLO VERY NİCE VİDEO THANK YOU!
Beautiful! I heard the canvas can tear or needles can break while punching but I want to punch on my canvas I'm scared if it'll work or not
Hi! You need to use a cotton fabric like monks cloth, I have a video on how you can make your own canvas: th-cam.com/video/44Fz_lmZv88/w-d-xo.html
@@leandralavanda Thank you so much!
My autism ass is in heavens right now, you have my attention and with my ADHA that’s difficult to happen so … now I now need to try this

Gracias!! se llama borbado magico 🌸
En que tiendas puedo encontrar la aguja. ?
What about the back? How does it not come undone?
This was my concern as well. Surprisingly it doesn’t. I’ve done a pillow case cover with punch needle some 30 yers back. Only we used the loopy side for the front. It looks like thick carpet.
It stayed behind in my moms home. It is still being in use and doing great. I guess the yarn gets stuck tight in the fabric. You can undo it if you wanted to but It’s not that easy done. You’d have to pull real hard on the loop.
Beitiful❤
👍👍👍
Amei
hi! which needle are you using?
hi, The Oxford punch needle 🧡
1 Don't use staples...They will eventually cut the canvas.
2 Why are we seeing the back? The whole point of lunch needle is to see the loops. If you want embroidery, why waste so much yarn making loops?
3 It's fun to do ....I used to do it in the last 80s/early 90s. The texture created is so fun!
