    All those old trucks bring back many memories to me. They were the work trucks I grew up with on the farm. We had grain trucks with dump beds. Heavy pick ups for rugged farm hauling. Flat beds for hay and milk can hauling. And a variety of tractors from 12 hp to 32 hp of more. From a Farmal Cub "A", high row cultivator to a Case, with 24 inch wide rear tires, that probably in total weighed in at 8,000 lbs. I miss those days of tilling the fields and growing crops. Don't miss milking cows or slopping hogs.

    The Bull Frog is great, I get an extra jolt cuz my first toy dump truck was a 57 GMC [Red cab white dump body]. Sooo not only is it great to watch you drive and use Bully, but brings back memories too !

    11,000 miles, wow, that is like having a new drive train.
    A cat can run 32 miles per hour at full clip, I doubt Annabella would catch one. Cats will usually avoide a fight if at all possible.
    You have a beautiful property there.

    Aside from enjoying all the trucks from my early days, count me amazed that at this late date I have seen my first deer squatting and peeing....who knew?... I certainly didn't. Truly an educational channel!

    Mr. Rick, congratulations!!! The Lord is collecting rare vehicles !! If I may, your respectable collection, for diversity, should have the incentive of General Motors.
    Yesterday, I bought a car package: (1) a full Dodge truck cab, maybe 1953 - I'll check; (2) a complete chassis, less engine, GM truck, 40's or 50's - I'll check if it's a GMC or a Chevrolet.
    Greetings!!!
    Blanco - Brazil.

    You & Jamie laid down some good road out there...l thought that fleetside was going to plow up your hard work, but it held...good job you two - Excellent...l like Smokey's motor - Homer needs 1 like that...Bully sure loves Jamie - he's so glad to see her coming, he hits on the first lick - can't beat that...l know a little about horses & l can tell you Jet likes you (Rick) better than you think...Oregon has the best Mustangs in the Country...if l was ever to move up there - l'd have to have 1, maybe 2...l just can't take cold anymore...that cold/flu bug just won't give up on you, everybody else is up & good to go...you'll beat it too Rick & when you do l think it'll be hard for it to latch on again...Take Care Rick - rest & fluids when you can...GOD Bless You Guys

I am only one guy doing all the work on the vehicles we save, so I'm doing pretty good just to get them drug out of the bushes, cleaned up and running/driving again. Thanks Fer Watchin'. -Rick

    I worked with a small municipal VFD. 4 Ford rigs and about the same age as Smokey. All 4 them Fords had a lopey idle to. Boy did they sound the business up on the cam at fast idle running the pumps.

    How much for the truck? Just wondering.

    • @ClassicTruckRescue
      @ClassicTruckRescue  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Its already sold Wayne. But a truck in this condition....with the parts I said it needed and would ship with it, is worth 3500 to 4000 dollars. That is just MY opinion, but I do have about 60 55-59 Chevy and GMC trucks and have been specializing in them for almost ten years....and studying them for over 40-years. If you can find one in better condition for less, you have done well. The key thing to keep in mind when shopping for one of these trucks is that the more complete trucks will save you a lot of money in the long run. Another big factor is having a good parts source. There are many suppliers of reproduction parts for these trucks, but a lot of people want the original stuff. Hope that helps, and if you decide to go after one...if I don't have it, I'll find it. rick@classictruckrescue Thanks Fer Watchin'

      Rick, I have been looking hard for an old truck, not to restore but drive. I would clear coat all the old rust and paint. It needs to run and drive. Breaks would be a plus. Can you Help me out?
