The thing about writing long hand, as a student and afterward, is that when you have that tactile sensation and because you are looking at the words, you remember them later. I still can recall passages I have written longhand (because I see them in my mind's eye). This really helps at test time! When you type, you're not looking in the same way at words on the screen as you do on a page. I am unable to recall, as completely, what I've typed into a computer.

Well, right now as I understand it, the blue states are really supporting the red states, especially in the South, because they cannot sustain themselves without the help of the blue states, we are taking care of them and they would fail and fall flat on their faces.If it wasn't for the blue states taking care of them

Low standards: My friends and I now refer to many of the folks in the healthcare industry as D students. They don't connect dots, don't communicate with different departments, don't follow up, etc., etc.
Why is clean water and air considered radical? Why is access to medical care radical? Why are vaccinations radical? Why is fair taxation radical? Why is home ownership radical? Why is a living wage radical? Why is fairness under the law in a free society radical? Why is freedom of religion radical? Someone please explain it to me, because I don’t see it.

Ya know, not for anything, but around 46:00, Ms. McQuade discusses the ramifications of Project 2025 and its 'climate change alarm industry' as being a reason to disband NOAA and other weather-related federal agencies. If Americans vote to put 45 back in the White House and if any of these horrific things Project 2025 is pushing for occurs, because there is a perfectly better alternative in Harris/Walz, then America deserves everything it might get as a result of poor voting choices. We folks here in the UK sit in disbelief at the thought of anyone voting for 45 and not for Harris. Good luck, USA...
I still put 2 spaces after a sentence 😊 I guess it's a habit. Kids need to learn cursive writing, so they won't print their names when asked to sign. Some don't know how to tell time with a clock!
