I’m a Northern who came to Texas for health reasons, primarily to avoid the long winters that played havoc with my nerve damaged limbs. In the past 10 years it has become more and more difficult to find quality doctors- now in the small town I’m in, all the GYN’s in my insurance plan have left ! Can’t blame them, but it sure creates problems when you need a Gynecologist at any age!

You're not kidding, but it's healthcare in general, not just for women. My daughters mother in law lives in Galveston, and she was in a Houston hospital from Tuesday to Saturday last week. Her diagnosis kept changing, one day they told her she had a stroke and that she also had an infection on her spine. She demanded her papers and walked out after both of those were wrong. The only reason she left so early is bc the nurse put lidocaine in her IV instead of Ativan. (She was monitored overnight, didn't have a reaction) If one of our top hospitals gets it wrong, then how does one feel confident in the next?
His inability to EVER tell the truth to Texans is a complete disqualifier.

Could you imagine having a baby from rape or incest and choosing to raise the child because you could never inflict Adoption trauma upon a child and then having to fight for parental rights against the predator? I live in Poland now and here is the law in Poland. Keep in mind this is a 99 percent Catholic Country and pretty conservative overall. Abortion in Poland is illegal, except in cases where the pregnancy is a result of a criminal act or when the woman's life or health is in danger. Poland's abortion law is one of the most restrictive in the European Union (EU) and Europe in general. Even here rape, incest, the life of the mother it is legal. For me, also a student of history, this is just a branch of the road that leads to a party like MAGA. Our way is the only way and we are always right. Elect Trump folks, go ahead, and watch the 2025 Project go into high gear. For me, as an American living in Poland, now my concern turns East because you all do not have the Russians at war with a country that is the distance from Philly to Chicago. My family and I were living in Texas when that big freeze happened. We were fortunate enough that our house still had a traditional fireplace, plus we're originally from up north _and_ used to camp a lot, so we had the experience dealing with this kind of weather, but everyone else around us were far less lucky. In a neighborhood next to ours, the rolling blackouts caused something to spark in one house's garage. I looked out my window and saw a pillar of black smoke in the distance. As my dad and I walked around to find where this was, we heard two loud booms; the whole garage caught fire and jumped to their two cars in the driveway. Luckily the people made it out safely. My workplace at the time had a couple pipes burst and flooded almost the entire building, and we didn't find this out until after a week of being stuck at home. We also heard reports of the 100+ vehicle pileup in Austin, plus stories of people dying from carbon monoxide trying to stay warm in their cars running in their garages and people _literally_ freezing to death.
And friggin‘ Ted Cruz left the state for vacation in Cancun instead of staying with the people of his state and help them as much as possible. He‘s a coward and a liar, like so many others (DeSantis for example). Get rid of those people, vote blue! 💙💙💙
