that would honestly be pretty rad. like, the vast majority of the game is just goes as normal (you get your starter from the prof. who sends you off to catch em all while you get all the gym badges and defeat the members of a evil team) but at much later on you find out that the prof. was the leader of the evil team the entire time (perhaps seeing everyone and everything as a test subject for the sake of science) and now you gotta beat them with the very pokemon they sent you on your way with. post game, you find out one of the NPCs has become the new prof. to replace the one that is now super arrested and asks you to help track down the remaining grunts or some special items so that they can rebuild what was left behind by the last prof.

There are a LOT of unanswered questions that are plausibly explained. For everyone who always wanted to join Team Rocket after crossing the Nugget Bridge, it's a dream come true.
same, with the other badguys its always obvious for the only people who show randomly up at importend places to talk weird stuff are usualy the champ, the main bad guy and the professor. The professor is already established as "trustworthy" so them doing the same stuff does not seam suspicious and it would be nice if that got played for a change. Both Flordelis and Lusamine already tried the styelising themselfs as a helper, but who would be in a better position to do so then the professor? They send us on our journey, the always know where we are and if we can ride our bike there, if something happens they counsal us, the give us tasks . . . I would love a pokemon game like that, where at some point we find out we where helping the evil team the whole time unknowingly.
Perhaps, since teleport is a psychic move, that people and pokemon aren't necessarily becoming digital, but rather already are, and psychic types are intelligent enough to be aware of the fact that they are in a video game, and abuse that power.

Honestly I always thought the name Silph Co was just foreshadowing the eventual introduction of fairy-type Pokemon. With the introduction of the fairy-type Eevee we know it is possible for some Pokemon to go from being completely normal type to the most magical type of all Faerie. Is Silph Co started by turning the teleportation power of Abra into a way to move around and eventually as a way to store Pokemon through the digitalization process. You're messing with powers beyond anything else available in the Kanto region from the Native Pokemon. What is Silph Co originally came from an as yet undiscovered region that has fairy-type Pokemon and has the original creator of Silph Co or by now in the Pokemon world his descendant running things and turning the incredible power of Faerie into a digital tool to work with. As far as former silco scientist becoming evil Team Rocket members and eventually team rainbow rocket members. No company is 100% leak-proof no company is completely safe from someone inside betraying them. So yes these powerful Technologies once they took the power of fairies and made it digital, of course there were going to be people that misused it
An interesting thing that caught my eye in the Legends Arceus trainer character designs: They have a pokeball emblem on the front of their garment....I wonder if it's a more ancient version of what would become the Silph Co. logo.......only time will tell!
Silph co. And the devon corporation being the same company is quite possible kinda. They could be sibling companies under a larger conpany. Like carl's jr and hardee's.
The closest thing to a Sylph in the Pokémon universe that I can think of is Celebi, and Celebi has the ability to time travel. I think this rabbit hole just got even deeper.
According to the early Pokémon Company "Canon Bible", trading PCs don't actually download or digitize the energy of the Pokémon, rather, the PC simply organizes your Pokémon, then teleports the appropriate PokéBalls to you. Presumably, the Pokémon roam free offsite, a PokéBank if you will, or the Labs in the Anime. As far as I can tell, the PokéBalls the player carries definitely reduces them to light. The more is still Wishi-Washi like that.
You could easily include Bill and Professor Oak in there The closest thing to a Sylph is Celebi; which has the power of Time travel, which would help with the whole dimension thing, also Oak had the GS ball; Oak also knew Bill, who was working on not only digitizing and teleporting Pokemon; but was working on transforming Things into Pokemon, he could have been hired by team Rocket to work for them in secret, which would also explain the Rocket Grunts guarding the Bridge to his house. Also, You know how Oak kinda shows up outta nowhere in Red and Blue after you beat the champion? Saying he knew you were here? That’s because the last trainer you beat before the league was Giovanni, Who could have told him afterwords.
warp panels are just another way to get around they are found in the TIn tower and trick house, big statuim and small court (5th gen) some were at the end of the gyms aswell
As a kid, I used to think that silph co was team rocket. Obviously, there were tons of rocket grunts in the silph co building. So I just put one and one together, of course I now know that team rocket took over the silph co building.
Toby, where is the link between Mr Stone, Drake, Dr Fuji, and Cpt. Briney? The only sign I know of on Faraway Island just has the hint of a Fuji having been there, no reference to the others. Love your content man, this video is awesome
Hey Toby. I think it's that time to go ahead and make an hour long video and team up with Lockstin to create the ultimate Pokemon Theory. Devon Corp. being the parent company to Silph Co. Giovanni being the leader of Team Rainbow Rocket, essentially a Director of Field Operations for the other Team Leaders, all assigned to gain information by Silph/Devon in different regions to learn/harness the powers of the different legendary creatures and set up bases of operation. While they, the parent companies, work on the technology to conquer the multiverse in every aspect from Pokemon to Humans. Let's also talk about how the Professors are obviously all not only connected to each other, but we're all trained at The Silph Co/Devon at some point. That is to include Bill, Lanette, and Celio as well. What if Scott from the Hoenn Battle Frontier is someone sent all the way from Devon to scout and look for strong trainers to be the leaders of the next team in the next branch of Silph/Devon? Much like the Nugget Bridge guy from Team Rocket, but on a much larger scale? And you know how every big company has their rivals? I believe that Team Cipher from the Orre region, as well as Chairman Rose's Foundation, Macro Cosmos, are like, trying to be rival companies to Silph Co? Neither of them are obviously as big, but both have the technology and resources to do what they do. Whether it is creating Shadow Pokemon or harnessing Dynamax energy for Dynamax/Gigantimax Pokemon. While their regions aren't as fleshed out as the others, Galar had had this technology (and the funding) to keep up for years now. And still have access to Apricorn Balls AND the Beast Balls. And they have characters with connections to other regions as well. So maybe MC wouldn't be a Rival to Silph/Devon, but may just be like, another branch. Focusing on Dmax Energy instead of Devon's focus on Infinity Energy as seen in ORAS. Idk I'm just running into a bunch of stuff in my head
So couple of significant problems with this theory. 1) the scientist saying they USED to work for Silphco inherently implies the organization they are in now is flat out NOT part of Siphco. 2) Steven visiting Siphco in Fire Red and Leaf Green does not make the two companies one and the same. Representatives from seperate companies visit each other to make business deals all the time without merging or being subsidiary to one another.
I'm curious how Mustard and Honey's son, Hyde got his hands on a Porygon; not to mention the Upgrade and Dubious Disc can also be obtained on nearby offshore sandbars. Sounds a bit dodgy to me, especially as the kid's Cram-o-matic most commonly recycles items (particularly apricorns) into various types of Poke Balls. Maybe Honey, who was previously a successful travelling saleswoman (according to her league cards) had some connection to one of the companies at one point.
Idk if this is a good idea or if someone already thought about this but what if Magerina (Hope I spelled it right) was made to be a pokeball and the soul heart was meant to be where the Pokémon was stored and the rest of it was armor and something went wrong and the Pokémon’s soul became Magerina
Devon Corp. might not be owned exactly same for others you mentioned. Could have licensed the technology from Silph Co. after all the Pokenav is unique to Devon. (I think)
I'm now 100% convinced Silph Co was involved with the shenanigans that transpired down in Area Zero with Turo/Sada. How else did they get so many Master Balls?
Geovoni did go to conquer another reality!!! Team go rocket from Pokémon go!! He is trying to conquer OUR reality right now! As evidence from the go rocket teasers: “They’re in our world now”
now i think.. mew-two was a completely hidden experiment only know by people like bill, the player, professors, and the company. I wonder what pokemon they've kept hidden from us, that we STILL don't know about
Hey toby here's a question for u is the Ash voiceover at the end of ur videos done by Veronica Taylor herself or is it just computerized with voice technology?
The Adventures manga could depict a Sylph co that gets sacrificed. Like Sylph/Devon Co and the evil teams absolutely can't be in cahoots in that universe. But they also have the Badge Amplifier which is completely unquie to them. Rainbow Rocket Sylph Co could have tried to copy it but this Sylph Co wouldn't collaborate.
Well except for other dimensional corruption ,I believe other to be true Team Rainbow Rocket Giovanni was not from different dimensions but from the current dimension This is proven by his HGSS and USUM dialogues where he felt nostalgic
i'm almost 100% certain that this was the idea from the very beginning, that they brought back for the plot of the Alola games where the big white company turns out to be evil

So yes these powerful Technologies once they took the power of fairies and made it digital, of course there were going to be people that misused it
I like the idea that their only competitors are an alternate dimensional version of themselves
Neat theory & analysis! Thanks for uploading!
An interesting thing that caught my eye in the Legends Arceus trainer character designs: They have a pokeball emblem on the front of their garment....I wonder if it's a more ancient version of what would become the Silph Co. logo.......only time will tell!
Amazing work dude yur theory is too awesome
No Pokemon based on Silph?! Sylveon is the Fairy Type Eeveelution. Which leads right back to Bill (Gates).
These big theories always get the gears in my brain turning, I wanna blow this conspiracy wide open!
Big Tech was the villain the whole time - shocker.
Silph co. And the devon corporation being the same company is quite possible kinda. They could be sibling companies under a larger conpany. Like carl's jr and hardee's.
Perhaps it is the evil teams that are running Sylph Co.
Then Giovanni has to invade because they were rebelling.
The closest thing to a Sylph in the Pokémon universe that I can think of is Celebi, and Celebi has the ability to time travel. I think this rabbit hole just got even deeper.
Loved the “we all live in a Pokémon world” song reference haha
The best way to start the weekend!
These types of videos are my favorite lunch time binges.
Tobey: "there's no pokemon based on a sylph"
Celebe: *cries in fairy*
sylphs are air elementals/spirits/nymphs, celebi is a wood/tree nymph, a dryade
According to the early Pokémon Company "Canon Bible", trading PCs don't actually download or digitize the energy of the Pokémon, rather, the PC simply organizes your Pokémon, then teleports the appropriate PokéBalls to you. Presumably, the Pokémon roam free offsite, a PokéBank if you will, or the Labs in the Anime.
As far as I can tell, the PokéBalls the player carries definitely reduces them to light.
The more is still Wishi-Washi like that.
You could easily include Bill and Professor Oak in there
The closest thing to a Sylph is Celebi; which has the power of Time travel, which would help with the whole dimension thing, also Oak had the GS ball; Oak also knew Bill, who was working on not only digitizing and teleporting Pokemon; but was working on transforming Things into Pokemon, he could have been hired by team Rocket to work for them in secret, which would also explain the Rocket Grunts guarding the Bridge to his house.
Also, You know how Oak kinda shows up outta nowhere in Red and Blue after you beat the champion? Saying he knew you were here?
That’s because the last trainer you beat before the league was Giovanni, Who could have told him afterwords.
Can't wait for more Pokemon content! Its bc of Toby I started my channel
Toby is out here trying to take down the bourgeoisie, better be careful before you "accidentally" fall into a wormhole or something.
You crushed it with this one!
warp panels are just another way to get around they are found in the TIn tower and trick house, big statuim and small court (5th gen) some were at the end of the gyms aswell
This would be the next big and greatest Pokemon fanfic after Latia's Journey if ever written... [Love how DEEP this rabbit hole went :D]
Toby : There are no pokemon based on a sylph!
Sylveon : What?
This will really help my Pokémon/cyberpunk tabletop I’m planning
At this point the explanation for all his theories is that Toby is just Bill who has gotten moved into our world through a warp hole
That is a well constructed finding of networks affiliated most with the main villain company that complicity experiments on Pokemon
This is toby’s red string meme 🤣🤣🤣 great work mate!!!
Thank you :D
Idk if this is a good idea or if someone already thought about this but what if Magerina (Hope I spelled it right) was made to be a pokeball and the soul heart was meant to be where the Pokémon was stored and the rest of it was armor and something went wrong and the Pokémon’s soul became Magerina
Bro, that just went from Pokémon to Umbrella Academy real quick!
"the reason capturing a pokemon isn't cruel is because you have to battle it to weaken it first" lmfao
This is a very solid theory video
OK how come you're not popping up as much? I've been subbed for forever and constantly watch your stuff but I'm seeing stuff I haven't seen before
The most legit youtuber I know and there is🥰🥰
awww ty
This theory was great. I loved it thanks for the excellent content
Aw ty ^_^
Silph Co. CEO
G.alactic
R.ocket
A.qua
M.agma
P.lasma
S.kull
Trust Fund baby Rose???
Sylphco enslaved abras in their warp panel tech . It's not the warp panel teleworking you, but abras energy I the warp panel that teleporting you
Devon Corp. might not be owned exactly same for others you mentioned. Could have licensed the technology from Silph Co. after all the Pokenav is unique to Devon. (I think)
Love this theory. Great content
Wormeholse also works in the same dimension. Tho
I think it's crazy Pokémon has the level of tech that they have but they don't have cars and roads on a mass available scale
Size wise, Shilf co is the Disney of the Pokémon world
So Silph Co. is basically Aperture Science.
…. I think we need a combustible lemon
I really hope Pokemon does address all these connections in the future.
Anyone else immediately think Celebi as a Silph? That could potentially explain time travel elements with the Silph company or something.
I can see a Pokémon being created as all of the greed from Silph Co. manifested together.
Blaine the Fire Gym leader is also referenced to be working for The Project that was Mewtwo
Pretty sure Silph co wanted Mewtwo to be made
Well except for other dimensional corruption ,I believe other to be true
Team Rainbow Rocket Giovanni was not from different dimensions but from the current dimension
This is proven by his HGSS and USUM dialogues where he felt nostalgic
Hi I love your videos, Do you have any tips on how to be a poketuber?
You also meet Bill after a teleporter experiment
At this point this video is a secret collab with lockstin
You should build a whole team of bird pokemon that aren't flying type.
i'm almost 100% certain that this was the idea from the very beginning, that they brought back for the plot of the Alola games where the big white company turns out to be evil
