IS THE RAPTURE OF THE BRIDE AT HAND?
The restraint of evil is God the Holy Spirit in every Christian who are sealed and indwelled by Him at the moment of salvation.1 Cor.6:17; Zechariah 4:6; 2 Thessalonians 2:6-7. When the last Christian is saved the bride of Christ (living and those having passed) will immediately be called up to His side above Earth and taken Home to Heaven but without even a trace of sin. This is the rapture. Our sin nature will be extinguished at that moment!

Gospel! The good news about Jesus Christ and salvation from judgment on our sins. Jesus dined with His disciples; Mark 14:22-25, the night before He went to the cross. Jesus and His disciples were eating a Passover meal together at the Last Supper. After partaking of bread and wine (His body and His blood) , the Bible mentions the hymn Jesus sang with His disciples. “And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives” Mark 14:26. What were they singing on such an occasion? PRAISE! Psalms 113-118.
THE GOOD NEWS
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.."John 14.6
Blood coming from his body, NAKED, hanging on that cross like Roman torture weapon! What a Lord God and Savior! He had to. HE is God the Son. Only His sinless blood could pay our sins price.1 John 2:1-2. The Savior was born to die for our sins so we could live through Him. He lives to make intercession for us by His blood in Heaven! See also 1 John 1:5-10 & Romans 5:8 below.

JESUS SAVES
God the Son (Jesus Christ) has given us the gospel to share with the world. Mark 16:15: "And He said unto them, Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
How can we hear it? Scripture tells us. Romans 10:17 "Then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (We receive the "word" in many ways. The "Word" is Jesus Christ!); John 1:1-5. God the Holy Spirit teaches through the Word of God in the Bible.
The Birth of Jesus Christ
Isaiah 7: 14: "Therefore the LORD shall give you a sign; behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and call His name Immanuel." Hebrew: עִמָּנוּאֵל, "God with us" in human flesh but without sin. The Savior of the world was born to die for our sins! He did so 33 years later. His terrible ordeal; body mutilated; blood poured out, finally died (John 19:30; Luke 23:46 ) and was placed in a tomb and rose from the dead the 3rd day ! "HE IS RISEN" Matthew 28: 6.
Isaiah 53:" 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all." - IT IS FOUNDED UPON GOD'S LOVE FOR MAN AND WOMAN HE CREATED
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3: 23

THE PAYMENT BY HIS BLOOD FOR ALL SINS EVER!

“For he (God) hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21.
Matthew 26: 28 "For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." (the life is in the blood. He had to pay with His life)
"And according to the Law, one may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness." Hebrews 9:22
BY GOD'S GRACE ALONE THROUGH FAITH ALONE IN JESUS CHRIST ARE WE SAVED
Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast."
Jesus died and paid the penalty for our sins to rescue us from eternal death. He died on our behalf. We believe in Him, trusting His death and shedding His blood as payment for ALL our sins and His burial and resurrection from the dead the third day! John 20:24-31; 1 Corinthians 15: 3-4 above.
WHOSOEVER BELIEVES SHALL TESTIFY TO THE TRUTH
Romans 10:
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
TO DIE IS TO REJECT SALVATION IN JESUS CHRIST AND BE SEPARATE FROM GOD FOREVERMORE
Salvation and forgiveness of sins is the blessing of anyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We receive the baptism of God the Holy Spirit immediately which seals us in Christ and that is permanent! Ephesians 1:13-14. Those who reject the free gift of salvation, see John 3:16 above, "perish", which means their sins are judged by God the Son and they suffer eternal separation from God and the family of God forever called the "second death". Revelation 21:8.
"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5: 1

How wonderful to know this is happening again today, February 11, 2023! Let's pray this kind of true revival, of true repentance, a true reverential fear for The Most High will sweep this nation driving the entire country to its knees in repentance and godly sorrow for a life altering experience.

I heard about the Asbury Revival and came across this video. I’ve been deeply touched by this move of God and give glory to God for the privilege of granting such an encounter in our generation. As I watched, this song sang loud in my Spirit: “Do it again Spirit if God, do it again, we have come with great expectations, and our hearts are lifted to you, Do it again, spirit of God, Do it again” ♥️. Thank you for doing it again Lord! We need more. Again and again and again! All over the world they shall come to know that Jesus is Lord 🙌🏾

18:25 "What makes the revival even more interesting is, from 1905 until today, Asbury University has had at least a dozen spontaneous revivals that have greatly impacted the students, faculty, and the world." It is wonderful to see how so many of those individuals impacted by that revival back then are still serving the Lord in some capacity today. They have not allowed the flame that was lit then to diminish or be completely snuffed out.

I’m 75 years of age, and God is renewing my usefulness for another season. He determines the length of our days, and the appointments of our service to His glory. He opened the door for another interim pastoral service for a congregation of believers 55 miles from my house. I am greatly blessed to serve in such a needed capacity…with the delight of duty.

My wife and I showed up in 1976 as freshmen. I had little or no knowledge of this time of revival when I arrived. It was 6 years earlier. One of the first things that struck me was the love for Jesus of the upper class students. I was impressed with their passion, obedience and grace. I had not seen that kind of heart for Jesus. The second thing that impacted me were the numerous times God showed up in power. I had never experienced anything like that before. It is indescribable. You are there minding your own business and the next thing you know, you and others are weeping and repenting and wanting whatever God wants for you. I am still amazed and encouraged by those experiences. And they didn't stop. To this day, our hearts are open to whatever God wants and we can look back on our lives and see that it started at Asbury.

Well, yes, and that’s awesome. But really, it began at the cross, and can & should happen in every child of God regularly. It’s occurring in me today, and hit me this morning, Sunday 10/2/2022. A 53 y/o man on a short trip to Houston, Texas. Never heard of Asbury or this revival until a pastor mentioned it in a sermon years ago. Now I think of it regularly and often. It affects me in such a way that it’s hard to type about it in a TH-cam comment! Then I watch videos of it & confess sin & get this deep longing for Jesus.

I was a sophomore and my brother was a junior and my sister a freshman at Asbury College when the revival came. God was with us and so grateful we had the opportunity to be there together and experience the Presence of God so powerfully. My parents and grandmother were also present. I went out on a witness team almost every weekend and then the summer was part of The Calvary Singers who represented the college and went all over the US sharing about the revival and all Jesus was doing.

Not any specific place, but the presence of the Lord keep showing up at random, I wasn’t anywhere near alive back then, but I’ll just be sitting on my couch and the next thing I know it’s just amazing. I do seek the Lord with scripture, prayer, and obedience, but when he shows up it’s at random, when there is a pause, “be still.” It started in 2020, but it’s getting stronger, lack of worldly desires started in maybe 2019. God is getting us ready, be ready for him to show up.

I grew up in the church where the 1860 Andrew Murray Revival (Google it) had occurred. To this day, I am still affected by that event, that was brought on by a 15yo brown peasant girl.

I had not heard about this revival. Thanks for sharing. I lived in California and knew about the Revival surrounding Calvary Chapel. But this one is new to me.
That is exactly what happened to my husband and I. As youth pastors we were getting ready for service when I heard the Lord say to me; “Open the door, shut up, and get out of the way”. Yes a humbling word indeed. We didn’t know what to expect. A student came up to us and asked if she could share what happened on a mission trip she just came back from. She did and kids were coming to the altar getting filled with the Holy Spirit. We had revival that night.

Presently I’m 74 years old and was fortunate the Lord drew me unto himself in 1972. It all started out with a little fellowship in a home, praise worship and bible study discipline one another as the Holy Spirit lead each of us through the Word daily. After some time we heard of a gathering in Washington DC called TAG ( take and give ) if my memory serves me correct there would be on an average of 2000 on Tuesday nights. As every one else that was fortunate to walk with the Lord in those days were blessed indeed, how I miss them. Still with the Lord but the fellowship I long for, not many of us left lol. I have been praying for revival for our nation for decades, I have felt the personal experience of revival in my life, but I yearn and plead the Blood of Jesus for it to happen to us in community, particularly I plead for it here in my lifetime, I have been to organized "revivals," but although they involved high emotionalism, and God used them in some way, I remain convinced that you can't just "gin it up" by human will, action, or verbiage. Only by the pouring of the Holy Spirit of God can it happen, praise God that it is happening in Asbury again, I pray that God extends it here to Las Vegas (yes, there are Christians in Sin City, too.) so that we will see a vast rush of salvation, recommitment, spiritual growth and healing. Pray for us !!!❤️✝️

I was 16 in 1970, I remember that's about the time what they called the Jesus Freak movement, that went on for a year or two.. I wasn't part of them I was raised Catholic and very reclusive.. I wish I could go to Asbury.. I live with tbi and have a hard time getting out the front door and panic attacks anxiety.. Because of that I don't get to drive anymore.. I would love to receive healing.. you mentioned you've been to other Revival .. can I ask where. TY..
make sure you don't become some revival butterfly ... just flitting from exciting meeting to exciting meeting ... work on growing some fruit, putting down spiritual roots, learning from good old wise teachers ... & live the Jesus life before the world!

I was a High School student At this time We attended the Methodist church I never remember the church talking about this Not even my youth group Now at 68 still in the Methodist church and been praying for revival for 3 years I wish I heard about the 1970 revival

One of the teams of students from Asbury visited Houghton College, a Christian school in New York state. One of the students at this college was deeply touched and her life dramatically impacted by the revival from Asbury that had spread to her campus. A short time later she decided that God was calling her to become a full time Christian worker and she would join the High School ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. Later she would move to California to minister to high school students in the Southern Cal beach cities. She would meet a young man who had worked with college students and now worked at the Campus Crusade International Headquarters at Arrowhead Springs near San Bernardino, CA. I have been married to that girl from Buffalo, New York for over 48 years now...
Went to Asbury in this 1970s time period to see Dave Boyer in concert. It was a wonderful time of music and praise. I came to Jesus during the "Jesus Movement"

Well I sensed you had a real Revival praise God for that it brought back a memory we had an 11-year Revival up and into the 1960s we we in school our teachers were called maiden's of Christ they hollered at us and said you're getting saved today we were young kids so we said okay what do you want us to do so they told us when you get anointed close your eyes repent of your sins and ask Jesus to come into your heart so we got anointed we obeyed when we opened our eyes all of us were weeping then we went to another school further away and these maidens said we're going to teach you how to get saved you want to go to heaven they had Maiden at this school also so they said through the blood of Jesus repent and ask Jesus into your heart so there was a Church there next to our school they send it there for an hour before school was out the pastor announced we're going to have a Revival we were young kids we said what's that he said you're on fire for Christ so for one hour he would yell who are you going to live for we yelled Jesus who are you going to live for we yelled back Jesus nothing else was said but these words for one full hour at 3 o'clock he told us we are going across the street we own that building you will meet your parents there and we will have refreshments guess what another hour of who are you going to live for and we would scream back Jesus along with our parents no music nothing else said but who are you going to live for Jesus we yelled back so one time during this 11-year Revival I open the door to church and I got hit by a powerful wind it knocked me down so I got up again in tried to enter Church this powerful wind knocked me back down again I saw others trying to get into church and they were knocked down so I was there on my knees raising my hands praising God but I was determined to get in so I said to myself I am going to crawl in and it was still a struggle crawling in but I made it when I stood up I sensed this sweet holiness this powerful wind that hit me was the Holy Ghost PS much more happened where did this happen? Oh, the Word does not come back to God who sent it and it does not come back void but will accomplish what He meant it for. Oh, how God humbles the flesh! Jesus called his disciples from the seashore and the learned were amazed at the depth of their teaching. God is not a respecter of man. He picks who we think are unworthy. We forget all the time that He is God and we are not. We know not His thoughts nor His ways. His thoughts are not our thoughts and His was are not our ways. Children we are to the Father. Children we are looking to the move of His hands. He is God and we are not. Alleluia to the Lamb.
