Thank you for making this video. I enjoyed this commentary about Genesis 34 quite a bit, and it gave me a lot to think about. I'm going to find the video for chapter 35 now, as those are the two chapters of Genesis I read today.

With every blessing there is a TEST. Jesus was baptised and the Glory of God of the Holy Spirit came down. Immediately after Jesus walked in the wilderness 40 days and nights til the angels ministered to him. So the bigger the blessing the bigger the test.

In Genesis chap 31, God didn't call Jacob to go to Bethel. God said "I am the God of Bethel, go back home to your kindred." In other words, go back to your family!! At Bethel, it was God, Jacob and a rock, maybe the Rock. No family. God told Jacob to go back to his family.

For the same cause two sons of Judah DIED because Judah married a cananite Woman. But when Judah was a widow he had relations with Tamar and Tamar had twins Perez and ZERA. So God gave back to Judah his two sons that he had Lost
Thank you Jesus Christ for your sacrifice for our redemption and salvation and thank you Jesus Christ for your miracles and WORDS AND HEALING. SHALOM. AMEN

God actually killed them, that is why they died. Tamar knew she had to keep the bloodline pure, that is why she had twins. Judah tells us she is more righteous just like Noah. Judah had children outwith his bloodline.

15:58 I am happy that you underline that God did NOT order Jacob and his sons to lie and murder, that this departure from God's wishes and commands turned the Israelites on the godless path ever since they entered Canaan and that this wrongdoing has been passed on to generations ever since. Indeed we see the Israelites today do what their fathers did before them: deceive and slaughter. That's the problem, not God.

Minute 9:00 They took their woman and children at the end they mingled. Dina was going in their community and talking to their woman with the idea of influencing them. This rape was a punishment because Leía was supposed to be with Esau, but when Jacob stole the birth right from Esau, then the second person that was supposed to be given to Esau was Dina. and Jacob selfishly hid her from Esau, Dina was supposed to transform Esau as she was meant to mingle with a husband that carried alot of sin and transform him, giving their life to God. But at the end it worked out😔 not the way God intended but At least the women and children Got transformed. The man got murder but at least died circumcised prior getting murder.

    Romans 9
“THE OLDER will serve THE YOUNGER.” 13 Just as it is written: “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.”
14 What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all! 15 For he says to Moses,
“I WILL have MERCY ON whom I HAVE MERCY,
and I WILL have COMPASSION on whom I have COMPASSION.”
16 It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy. 17 For Scripture says to Pharaoh: “I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” 18 Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.

    Deuteronomy 22: 25-27
25 But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die.
26 But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter:
27 For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her.

This is the wrong law to apply to Dinah's case. She was NOT BETHROTHED to anyone at the time Shechem lay with her.
Shechem wud not have died acc to the law for he wud have been expected to marry her and keep her as his wife all his life. So he was indeed honourable when he said he wanted to marry Dinah instead of casting her off.
The law that pertains to Dinah's and Shechem's case is this -
      28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;
29 then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.
      Deuteronomy 22:28‭-‬29 KJV

God seemed to be silent on proclaiming his judgment on their actions, why.? Jacob said what he thought would be the result of their actions, but what did God say, not a lot.

How many men were in this city. I have always wondered how many men were present if Jacobs sons were able to kill all of them. Was this a very small city or did they servants withy them.
