@@JesterTester Remember Dee Snider of Twisted Sister going to hearings trying to fight off the parental advisory label? So he lost, but remember how popular cassettes and CDs became that had that label? I remember some kids wearing the Parental Advisory shirts and vowing to only buy records with that label. Lol oh man.. Crazy Babylon 🤦🏻♂️
@Deputy Van Halen Yes!! I remember it like it was yesterday. He stood out like a sore thumb in a room full of stuffed shirts. Yes, the infamous advisory label. It really worked well. Haha. The more I saw the label, the more I wanted the album. They did the same thing with video games. I saw more little kids playing GTA than adults. It worked great there also. Awesome. 🤣
Haha, yes, they could have. I think their last home console was in 1993. I think the Jaguar. Nolan Bushnell probably wanted the kids in their homes playing video games to come out to his Chuck E Cheese establishments. Haha. I do remember this also.
@@JesterTester haha that's awesome man. My mom was one of the ones who referred to every video game system we had as a "Nintendo" no matter what it was haha
In the eighties my parents wouldnt buy me any unlicensed cartridges because they actually believed that the FBI would come kick in our front door. Dad is gone now but me and mom still laugh about that.
Great video Jesse. It’s interesting how the zeitgeist of the culture influences and wins people over. Happened during COVID and it’ll happen again, but counseling sessions for video games? Seems to be a parent issue and not a child issue hahaha. I had free reign and I turned out ok I guess lol…and yes on the ladies…when you could say that word with confidence!
Hey buddy, I absolutely agree 💯. We will see the pattern repeat itself over and over. The part where psychologists' offices were going to get more crowded over the holiday season floored me. Come on Billy, you said you want to play Super Mario World? Then we are going to have to bring you to the psychologists office. Your head ain't on straight. Haha. I belive I turned out alright also. Even after video games and dangerous music lyrics. But maybe we are all in denial. Haha.
One takeaway here, chicks had beautiful hair in the 80s and early 90s. 😂 They use to take a lot of time making themselves look like ladies. Today a lot of them want to look like or become dudes. 🤷🏻♂️ I slid a bit off topic here. 😁🤷🏻♂️
OMG, don't even get me started, brother. I have said this to death. I was in love with the high, aqua netted, 80s, and 90s girls' hair. Girls really cared about appearance back then. Hair, makeup, perfume. What happened?? I always say that if they made a time machine today, the only time I would go back to was then. Sad but true. Such awesome times.
I remember all the fears with video gaming back in the day. Funny, the more they talked about it, the more popular they became.
Yes, I sure do also. Even brought up in Congress regarding video game violence.
That really ended that also. Haha.

I remember when that was going on. I think it was more Atari behind the scenes pushing it because their sales were in decline...lol

Now I'm nervous. I really hope they don't take video games away. 😂😂
I know right. Probably any day now.
Hahaha oh wow I remember when this was going on. I better lock all my games up!
Hell yeah, Mike, hide them all. They are taking them and sending you to a psychologist to fix your twisted Nintendo brain. Hahaha
@@JesterTester that's still amazing that was basically what they thought. I'm glad my parents weren't that crazy haha.
@The Bad Guy Mike Werley Same here, Mike. My parents played my video games with me. Guess they were twisted also. Hahaha
My Mom to this day plays Pacman in my arcade. And she's better than me at it. No, bs.

That's funny. But I can relate. I remember them making such a huge deal over video games back then. It was always on the news.

@@JesterTester hahaha that IS true! Denial sure is a coping mechanism for the masses!

@@JesterTester LOL, yes sir! 😁😄🤨😁
How the fuck did I come across this video and these braindamaged ass comments.
@@JesterTester You must have suffered some kind of severe head trauma. Women don't wear makeup anymore? Are you posting directly from a coma?
