    JJ, every so often I feel the need to just say THANK YOU VERY MUCH for all the great stuff you post up here. I've been addicted for years (on this page and the other), and anytime I need to find the quickest and easiest way to nail a song for a jam session you are the first (and usually the only) place I hit. Eternally grateful. Thanks buddy.

    Beatles' song with a Stones' shirt - love it. Never understood the different camps of fans.

    Your intro is different than all others I have looked at. I am trying to learn to play this song and your looks like the easiest to play. Strum patterns are so important in making the song sound good or closer to the original version. I have watched a lot of your videos, thanks for all of those. I need all the help I can get.

    Thanks again. You made one James James fan very happy. I don't recognize this wonderful version. Love hearing your added parts to their songs.

      This is a cover band called The Fab Four.

      No wonder I like it so much. The Fab Four are my favorite Beatles tribute band and I have seen them live. 😃

    The song was in my head so I was watching your video. All the Tab books have the intro wrong. I Agee with how you play the intro because the open D string sounds correct. I enjoy all your videos. Thanks.

    The intro sounds like the Rutles. :)

    I've read from many sources that John is considered to be one of the great rhythm guitarists. I've actually seen him in the top 10 of many rankings. What say you James James?

      I agree with that.

      James James what do you think of his lead work? He certainly wasn't in the same ballpark as George or Paul in that respect, but I quite enjoy his lead parts on songs like Birthday and Get Back, and especially The End.

      I read in one book that John was a huge early Elvis fan - and Elvis was a much underrated rhythm guitarist (all of his other talents overshadowed his musical skills). As a result, John developed a right arm that was practically a machine. I've tried keeping up with him while playing All My Loving!

    With all the Copyright violation mess out there these days how do Tribute bands get away with praying the songs at clubs and such?

    • @jamesjames9275
      @jamesjames9275  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because venues that have live music make payments to ASCAP.

    I sometimes play this with a G6 chord following the Bm. Looks like you are playing G. Is the G6 just wrong there? Thanks much!

    I'm sure that recording is the Fab Four impersonates.
