I lived near Pudu area between 1990-1995, ate their noodle very often. Then I left KL and always thought of their noodle, finally in 2019 visited this new store, still taste the same! We used to call this area 为食街

Tai Bou (大埔) should be referring to Dabu county in the east of Meizhou City, in Guangdong, China. It's one of the places in China with a big Hakka community living there. It's also the ancestral home of Singapore's ex-PM Lee Kuan Yew and also has its own Tai Pu Hakka dialect.

I am Hakka tai po. Our noodles soup comes with beancurd roll wrapped with fish paste ( taukee ) and beef ball but not wantan soup and green chillie. Our noodle serve with minced meat and bean sprout .If you got chance to visit Batu Pahat come and have our Hakka noodle taste.

Your husband is right! Before he fire, they used to open a stall nearby the new restaurant. I remember that there was an old lady opened a noodle stall as well (my favourite was her curry noodle). Next to the stall, was an old man who sells fish ball noodle. It was in front of the Tai bo noodle before the fire happened. Now, I don't those stalls are still there. Maybe your husband bring you at night on the same street. It have more foods open at night
I think I saw the curry mee stall when we pass by the street , but I’m not sure isn’t the stall you are saying

Actually, Pan Mee (板面) is also Hakka in origin. And the noodle in video is unique to Hakka people from Tai Bu (大埔客家人)。
Pudu are mostly Hakka people.

大埔是香港十八區的其中一區，位於新界東部，因为居民大部分都是客家人，所以大埔面也代表客家面~

不正确。这个大埔，是广东省大埔县，原名叫腌面，但是梅县的腌面和大埔县的，也有区别。
清末年间，传至砂拉越，加了叉烧命，命名哥罗面。芙蓉就称呼客家面，半山吧这间店，就叫大埔面。
