    I had lens replacement surgery 3 years ago. It's the best thing ever. I wore glasses starting in 8th grade. Then when I got older I needed reading glasses. All of that is gone. Awesome.

    I had replacement surgery about 6 months ago. The right eye was first. During the lazar operation I saw dancing green lights all over the eye. The next day I had a white fog that prevented seeing almost everything. I could barely see that there was a lite eye chart and could not see a single 20/800 letter on it. After 8 days the fog had cleared to the point that I had a soft focus 20/50 vision. Overall it took 9 to 10 weeks to slowly improve to 20/30 vision without the soft focus. After a 12 week wait from the first surgery I had the left eye done and it went about like what I understand to be normal. At 4 weeks I had 20/30 vision. No one has explain what caused the green lights and the fog with a long slow recovery. I'm glad I had the surgeries but was very concerned with the right eye for the first 5 weeks. Because of the problems on the right eye I have had 2 extra checkup with a third coming up next week. So what I'm saying is that the surgery does not always go as planed but the end result can still be good. I don't know what the problem rate is but for me it was 50%.

      Hello Donald thank you very much for this honest review. We're sorry you had a slow recovery. It sounds like you experienced vision fluctuations after your surgery which is a normal part of healing as it can take some time for your vision to stabilise. But we are pleased to hear that you got your desired end result in the end. Please feel free to get in touch is you have any future concerns.

    Thank you for making this video! My doctor talk to me at my appointment today to see if we wanted to try a lens in my eye. I have retinopathy of prematurity, congenital, glaucoma, nystagmus, photophobia, and aphakia (spelling?)
    I’ve had 17 eye surgeries to date, so I’m excited/apprehensive all at once. If they can do it, that would be awesome! My mother is more worried about me losing Vision , but I went from having no vision to having some after the last surgery so here’s hoping!

    Thanks for the video! Is this a procedure that you would recommend for a younger patient (25yo) with a + prescription and high astigmatism?

    • @vsonlasereyesurgerybrisban8095
      @vsonlasereyesurgerybrisban8095  ปีที่แล้ว

      Lens replacement is a great option for people with high astigmatism yes and it is a suitable option for younger patients too. Lens replacement is often a once in a lifetime procedure, so it benefits younger people more as they can enjoy longer results! you can book a free 45 minute assessment here to discuss further: vson.com.au/book-an-appointment/#Book

    it has been 5 days since my surgery and I still see double (specially when I look at text) and everything is still blurry. I am worried, since everybody seems to say they can see fine after a couple of days.

      @@rjallday28 terrible, still the same. the eye doctor says I need to have laser correction in the one eye and they can first do it 6 months after the operation. I hope this helps the double vision problem, because seeing double has ruined so much of my life specially when I work with graphics.
