I just saw dominos latest commercial. It talks about how their drivers are “expert drivers” and advertises their new pothole initiative. It’s kind of ironic due to how many of their pizza cars you own.

According to Jaguar, the S type R from the factory was 400 horsepower and could do 0-60 in 5.3 seconds. Equipped with a 4.2 supercharged v8 and 6 speed ZF transmission

For anyone wanting another opinion of that ceramic coating, I have posted before. It is good stuff. I used it on my salvage 2g DSM after I did a single stage paint job in my diy paint booth. I recommend it. It added more of a shine and seems to have protected it from scratches. Makes washing the car very easy. I do use a wax as you dry after washing. Highely recommend.

Any major drivetrain upgrades should probably be followed up by a solid ecu tune. Otherwise the car could see minimal performance gains, or a complete lack thereof.

Take it from an old NYC car man. This is great, as the kids who comment negatively think pumping gas and changing wiper blades are mid level car repairs. Low price tools, Copart and on line videos make those who are interested surrounded by expert help.

Don't you think you should have buffed out some of that orange peel before ceramic coating the car?
In sport mode, it should hold gears to redline, 0-60 is between 5 n 5.5 seconds depending on a few factors, break horsepower is right around 334 for stock. Beautiful car Sam. I enjoy driving mine so far.
I've read if you take battery terminals off to clear memory it will hold redline a few times before going and short shifting again in the first 2 gears. Don't know if it's really true or not...
Samcrac I'm not sure on that battery part, but I know this car can perform a lot better if the trans can be programmed with a different software cause I had the range rover supercharged as well and it felt like it was as fast as this jag even though it weighted more and is awd. Nonetheless this jag to me is a proper sport luxury sedan. I will be watching your listing. Good luck on the sale Sam.
First of all, it's brake horsepower, and no it's not 334, it's 390-ish. What you're quoting is in fact rwhp.

Are the wipers in the wrong position? I think by switching them back may give it a higher price as fewer people will doubt that if it had a accident severe enough to damage the wipers. Hope you got a good offer!

🔥The stock 0-60 times are 5.2 sec and the 1/4 mile in 13.3 sec with 400hp…. some places quotes were faster than that! I owned a 03’ & your time was really slow🤔.

I'm glad you did an "inspection" to show the TH-camrs, nice of you! Now the only caveat...Enamel paint won't last long in the sun as much as Urethane, it's just an older essentially "rustoleum" type paint job, same style used in the 50-60's, it just fades over time :/

If it’s Enamel then it’ll fade and go chalky very quick and you should be able to wet sand or polish the orange peel out.

every time I see this crazy blue color I keep thinking it is a taxi cab. I would of spray painted the wheel liners. Since Copart is sponsoring you videos now hopefully they give you a discount on buyers fees. The fees can add and be almost as much as what you spend on a cheap car.

There is either something really wrong with the jag or something really wrong with the vbox and I've worked for a JLR garage and this car at least sounds healthy I would expect from it at least 350hp
That's crazy I have a xkr 2003 (the big brother) it made 331whp and 351tq stock they advised 400hp

Don’t quote me. But, I believe in GA anyone can bid (available to the public).
Nope a clear title in Georgia is Dealer/broker only so 99% of us can't buy it unless you hire a broker and pay hundreds in fee's to the broker on top of CoPart fees.

I did look. According to Copart in the bidding rules they will only sell Salvage title cars to non-dealers. Trust me I tried... I had to upload my government ID, pay $350 deposit to get buying power and them when I bid it says show your business license or use a broker. In Georgia Copart will not sell normal titled cars to the public.

wow, this just goes to show how far cars have come in such a short time. my 2018 BMW 540i, with a turbo V6, hits 60 MPH at about 4.5s, and it weighs about 400 pounds more.
Abraham Lincoln: NO BMW has a V6... they're all inline (or straight) 6 engines.

6.5 second sounds on the slower end. I had a 2015 Jetta Sport Stage 1 APR 93 octane and it did 6.1-6.3 0-60 with sticky high performance goodyears. I timed mine with an ultragauge. It was much cooler out though and the car had minimal wheelspin. 293 ft/lbs will do that.

These old Rs lose a lot of power after 100k miles. Do you know anything to keep them going strong? I heard the supercharger maintenance is a big thing. I had one of these and loved it. I am looking for an 05 but some of these s type r on TH-cam look weaker then my DTS imo.
My 2005 Subaru Legacy GT wagon gets to 60 faster than that thing, and my dad has an '05 STR that beats me to 60, so I'd have to say that it does not have a healthy engine. ECU probably doesn't like the nitrous and you probably have boost leaks galore. The intake system on my dad's STR is covered in epoxy to seal all the leaks and maintain boost.
I like your ricer math at the end. Machine says 240whp, blames it on the weather and not knowing how to launch the car. Then quotes other online figures from just above 300 horsepower (with no links or referrals) and then says oh then add the NO2 (expects it won't blow with a 1.5 second 100 shot) and boom it makes over 400 to the crank no problem XD got me dying out here with the ricer math in a Jag.
Seriously... this whole series was a actually an EPIC FAIL.. there was so many things he could've done better and DONE to make this a lot less of a fail.. all in all why would you not go to a dyno and do the baseline and NOs pull? InsteAd you buy this rinky-dink Mickey mouse plastic scam of a "tool" - not sorry for the huge thumbs down.. shows a total lack of CARE and EFFORT for his viewers

Something was majorly wrong lol... 0 to 60 in 6.5? I used to do 5.1 0 to 60 in mine and only had an intake pipe with aem air filter. A smaller supercharger pulley exhaust and tune wakes them up more. My dts would eat this Jag which it has no business doing or shouldn't be anywhere near close.
While you are right about making 500hp or more at the crank I must shoot you down a bit. Transmission gear ratio across all gears, rotational mass and final ratio in the differential as well as other variables take it down quick. The rule of thumb is 20% loss of crank hp to wheel hp
This guy has no clue what he is doing with the M112 supercharger on this engine - absolutely oblivious to the flow limitations

Sam that makes no sense, the stock 0-60 on an 04 S type R is 5.1, how would it lose that much time? I have a 2004 XJR and it’s stated 0-60 is 5.0 and mine (even being 14 years old is still 5.2, I think something might be wrong
