You’ll get much crispier fries if you soak the starch out of them for a few minutes in cold water after you’ve chopped them then dry well then toss in your coating before air frying 👍🏼 x

Bethany Brown is the air fryer easy? safe? I'll be hotel living for a few months and need a quick, easy, safe, not obvious smells being cooked way to make food. would you suggest an air fryer? do you have a brand you like best? I'm thinking if the Avalon with the Caitlin code discount. would you think a rice cooker or instant pot would be okay, too? pressure cookers scare me so that's out. if you had one or two ways to cook in a hotel that are fast, safe, and least noticeable in terms of smells, would an air fryer or instant pot be good? I est simple foods - cooked rice, oats, potatoes, beans, vegetables, tofu - so that's not an issue. I'd so appreciate your advice, since you said you LOVE using your air fryer. I'd probably get one but I want to make sure that with living in a hotel for a few months, the way I cook will be quick, safe, and not have obvious smells. thank you.
Emuna Bee I highly recommend the air fryer, it's so easy to make stuff with it, but if you have the choice of getting a air fryer or pressure cooker I wouldn't know because I don't have a pressure cooker. With the discount on the air fryer, you should give the air fryer a try! Hope I helped☺

I loveeee having an air fryer. I've been obsessed with roasting broccoli as a snack ever since I saw you eating that broccoli with hummus on your Instastory a few weeks ago. lollll
But I also like roasting chickpeas, small cubed sweet potatoes, kale chips, pumpkin seeds, and very low oil tortilla chips. I try to stay low oil so I just use a Misto oil spritzer thing and spray the veggies with the teeniesttttt amount of oil. Just thought I'd give people some ideas if they're purchasing one because of that wicked awesome discount.

Yes!!!! This is awesome girl. My mom just gave me her air fryer (she got one, used it 2x and never used it again- major score for me!) And I am eager to get down to business with it. Loved your video. I also got an air fryer for Christmas and i love frying vegetable sticks in it, especially carrots and sweet potatoes. I also air fryed banana oat muffins and they came out so much better and in just 20-25 minutes. Homemade potato chips came out gorgeously and I am also looking forward to make some tomato and banana chips to see how that works out. I must say I have a grilling accessory that let’s me air fry more layers at the same time, which is more practical and eco friendly.

Definitely an interesting take on caramelized onions, traditionally the method to make them is to cut the onions a little thinner, then cook them on as low of a setting as your stove will go, and you cook them out for a couple of hours (yes, hours), without adding really anything to them other than a little olive oil, salt, and a little red wine for color and a bit of flavor

Thanks for the video. Can’t wait to try the oil-free onion rings. Now for a friendly FYI. Using a marble, or granite, or glass cutting board is hard on your knife blades. Plastic is okay, but wood and/or bamboo are better. Your knives will stay sharp longer. 🔪🙂

That green on the potatoes tho! :O I haven't dared to cook with regular potatoes ever since I got really bad stomach pain from eating potatoes that were too green.
I cut out any green parts and the eyes after I scrub my potatoes. I always eat the skin, though.

Emilee Taritero is the smell from inside the air fryer noticeable outside the air fryer? will I smell the food baking like in an oven or do I need to put a timer and stand by? will it smell up the house?
Airfryers have been huge here for yeaaaarrsss I think we've had one for 5 years or so😅 I can't stand oily foods so it's honestly amazing
Emuna Bee It does ventilate out the back, so some heat and aroma. Definitely not as much as an oven. :)
