They were good for the story I won't lie. The flaw people see in them is how much Lucas focused on the overall relationship. Which is a good idea in my book. But the original trilogy wasn't like that and that ticked off the fans. But I like them too (Hell I'm okay with Jar-Jar), however the prequels do have their own flaws and I can understand a lot of them. Even the originals had bad parts too. It's only fair.

Hayden was so perfect for this role. The only reason they chose him is because they wanted someone scary. He may suck in episode 2 and beginning of 3 but when he turns into "Vader" in the middle-end of 3, damn... It's scary.

Star Wars Episode 1, 2 and 3 is underrated, they had cool saber fights, good showing of Anakin and Obi Wan's relationship, we got to see Obi Wan's master, we get to see Anakin become evil... I don't get why people hate it. Also the music was legendary.

Ben Bieryla I honestly think the sounds, be it music or effects, were the best things of the Prequels. the story was mediocre at best and there was way too much CGI used in the filming, but the sound design was spectacular.

There's really far less CGI than people say there is. Most important Coruscant buildings are models. The scene with Anakin and Obi-Wan vs Dooku in Revenge of the Sith was a complete set. Utapau was all miniatures. Mustafar was all miniatures. The effects were done almost exactly the same as the original trilogy, just with better technology, and yes, a few CGI characters.
I wish we could see more of what happened to Coruscant after the big revolt against the Jedi Temple. I definitely want to see Coruscant again in the new movies. Revisiting old locations that have seen war would be amazing.
I would imagine it's going to be in the new movies since it still served as the capital for the New Republic after the fall of the Galactic Empire. Definitely would be cool to see what they might do with it.
Any news on BF3? I know it will come out on PC, but will it have the same things as BF2? Like awards, classes, new heros, and all that? I would also like to see, other campaigns other than Rise of the Empire, like The Rebels, and Droids.

This scene and when Battle of the Heroes Soundtrack was playing, I mean Anakin vs Obi-Wan. In my opinion Battle of the Heroes is the saddest soundtrack in the whole SW universe :( I'm almost crying everytime I hear it
What I absolutely adore are the musical motifs that are used throughout the entire Star Wars universe. The beginning of the temple march is a slowed down portion of the Love Pledge And The Arena song from Attack of the Clones! And Palpatine’s Emperor theme is showcased in the Naboo celebration song, as well (though in a much happier tone, obviously). It’s insane how much thought is put into the music.
My friends all hate on his acting and I was really surprised and shocked because I thought that his Anakin was great except for some things in Attack of the Clones were questionable but overall did really good at acting with the conflict that he had to portray that was inside of him and how all the emotions he felt Anakin was going through
The scene where he turns to face the camera and he has yellow eyes is absolutely terrifying when Hayden wanted to look evil he pulled it off well it was just the dialogue that was bad

As movies, they are lackluster but in the Star Wars universe, they add a lot of stuff that really builds up star wars. The clone troopers, cis army, the jedi temple. I feel like the new movies have the opposite situation where they are good movies but don't feel as star warsy.
I agree with Jemmy, except for Maul. He needed WAY more screen time. And more than 1 line, seriously. He’s one of the most badass Sith Lords and he has 1 or 2 sentences in the whole movie.

Minifigure Man Nah, as much as I dislike the sequel trilogy, Disney has had some great additions. Rogue One is a pretty good movie, the visuals and action sequences are amazing. They really expand the Universe after Revenge of the Sith, and ties in perfectly to A New Hope. Solo was a pretty great movie with exceptional acting, visuals, and score, idk why so many people shit on the movie. And while this isn’t a movie, the Mandalorian, is a pretty good show with great action, world building, cinematography, and music. Some of Disney’s creations were ass, sure. But not everything- in fact id argue some of these creations are better than the first two prequel films.
Minifigure Man Yeah I get where your coming from. I don’t think Disney doesn’t know about how the whole force concept operates, I just think they don’t care about it and they don’t care about making genuine, great Star Wars movies. They only care about making profit- they know whether what they make is good or bad, it’s gonna make a boatload of cash simply because it has the name “Star Wars” on it. However, they can make introduce good additions if they introduce producers/directors who genuinely care for Star Wars, and know its material and concepts- such as Dave Filoni who was one of the producers for The Clone Wars, a pretty great show. Or John Favreau, who’s a huge Star Wars nerd and made some great episodes for the Mandalorian.
But then you realize Ewan McGregor is from Scotland, also known as the Highlands, so he technically was born in the High Ground, still surpassing Anakin's high ground.
Actually, I see a lot of girls now wearing Star Wars shirts. It wasn't like that at all when I was a kid. When I saw the first three movies (Episodes 4-6,) I don't recall seeing a single girl or woman in the audience. Girls used to make fun of guys who were into Star Wars or Star Trek.
Revenge of the Sith is clearly the best movie. They have the most lightsaber duels, the best soundtracks and music, best choreography, especially since they have the fastest thrilling duels in the whole saga, and awesome characters.
Sorry but you’re wrong on this one you need to go back and watch the original trilogy the visuals are dated sure but the character arcs and stories in those first three are unmatched by anything they’ve done or ever will do. To me it’s Empire Strikes Back especially. Revenge of the Sith is not bad and for sure better than the first two prequels and without a doubt better than any of the sequels but it’s not a masterpiece by any means. Also lightsaber duels and visuals are great but they’re not what make a Star Wars movie great take it from a long time fan

as a kid, this movie used to scare me. as a teen, i realize how this movie terrorized me, and the haunting rise of darth vader himself. this scene still gives me chills because of the music. revenge of the sith has one of the best soundtracks next to the force awakens and the empire strikes back. the whole concept of this movie is impeccable, seeing how violent anakin turned out to be, showing that he couldn't control how he felt before he broke and did what he did. it is insane. john williams is a legend.

Ben Bieryla I honestly think the sounds, be it music or effects, were the best things of the Prequels. the story was mediocre at best and there was way too much CGI used in the filming, but the sound design was spectacular.

There's really far less CGI than people say there is. Most important Coruscant buildings are models. The scene with Anakin and Obi-Wan vs Dooku in Revenge of the Sith was a complete set. Utapau was all miniatures. Mustafar was all miniatures. The effects were done almost exactly the same as the original trilogy, just with better technology, and yes, a few CGI characters.

I wish we could see more of what happened to Coruscant after the big revolt against the Jedi Temple. I definitely want to see Coruscant again in the new movies. Revisiting old locations that have seen war would be amazing.

What I absolutely adore are the musical motifs that are used throughout the entire Star Wars universe. The beginning of the temple march is a slowed down portion of the Love Pledge And The Arena song from Attack of the Clones! And Palpatine’s Emperor theme is showcased in the Naboo celebration song, as well (though in a much happier tone, obviously). It’s insane how much thought is put into the music.

My friends all hate on his acting and I was really surprised and shocked because I thought that his Anakin was great except for some things in Attack of the Clones were questionable but overall did really good at acting with the conflict that he had to portray that was inside of him and how all the emotions he felt Anakin was going through
The scene where he turns to face the camera and he has yellow eyes is absolutely terrifying when Hayden wanted to look evil he pulled it off well it was just the dialogue that was bad

Minifigure Man Nah, as much as I dislike the sequel trilogy, Disney has had some great additions. Rogue One is a pretty good movie, the visuals and action sequences are amazing. They really expand the Universe after Revenge of the Sith, and ties in perfectly to A New Hope. Solo was a pretty great movie with exceptional acting, visuals, and score, idk why so many people shit on the movie. And while this isn’t a movie, the Mandalorian, is a pretty good show with great action, world building, cinematography, and music. Some of Disney’s creations were ass, sure. But not everything- in fact id argue some of these creations are better than the first two prequel films.

I don’t think Disney doesn’t know about how the whole force concept operates, I just think they don’t care about it and they don’t care about making genuine, great Star Wars movies. They only care about making profit- they know whether what they make is good or bad, it’s gonna make a boatload of cash simply because it has the name “Star Wars” on it. However, they can make introduce good additions if they introduce producers/directors who genuinely care for Star Wars, and know its material and concepts- such as Dave Filoni who was one of the producers for The Clone Wars, a pretty great show. Or John Favreau, who’s a huge Star Wars nerd and made some great episodes for the Mandalorian.

Revenge of the Sith is clearly the best movie. They have the most lightsaber duels, the best soundtracks and music, best choreography, especially since they have the fastest thrilling duels in the whole saga, and awesome characters.
Sorry but you’re wrong on this one you need to go back and watch the original trilogy the visuals are dated sure but the character arcs and stories in those first three are unmatched by anything they’ve done or ever will do. To me it’s Empire Strikes Back especially. Revenge of the Sith is not bad and for sure better than the first two prequels and without a doubt better than any of the sequels but it’s not a masterpiece by any means. Also lightsaber duels and visuals are great but they’re not what make a Star Wars movie great take it from a long time fan
